A truly special hotel in the Ultental Valley. We spent seven nights here over New Year's Eve and were absolutely delighted. The ambiance is exceptional – it doesn't feel like a typical hotel, but rather like a stylish, warm retreat, without sacrificing any comfort. The hospitality is outstanding, the service attentive, courteous, and unobtrusive. The spa area is spotlessly clean, furnished to a high standard, and perfectly embodies the hotel's concept. The interior design perfectly reflects the concept of design and indulgence.
The rooms are very well laid out and create a truly comfortable atmosphere. Everything is impeccably maintained and exceptionally clean.
The hotel's cuisine is outstanding, featuring a multi-course menu with a wide variety of options. Local produce, regionality, and quality are clearly the focus. The salad and vegetable buffet is exceptionally extensive and impressively diverse.
New Year's Eve was an absolute highlight: The evening began with a sparkling wine reception and superb finger food, followed by an excellent menu with further first-class courses. A superbly curated evening that will linger long in the memory.
Even large dogs are very welcome and are naturally integrated as guests. We felt completely at ease with our Labrador, Brooklyn.

A very beautiful hotel, with enormous spaces, located in a beautiful and strategic location in Val d'Ultimo. The wellness center deserves praise, and the option of swimming outside in the adjacent private lake is definitely a plus. The gym is a stunner, equipped with top-notch machines and weights. The cuisine is very refined, with unusual combinations; it's definitely worth trying. The staff also deserves praise; in all the years (now decades) I've been going to the mountains, I've only found the staff so kind and helpful on a couple of occasions. The only small flaws (but that's just a nitpick) are the rooms without USB ports, and (just a personal preference) the shower area is very modern, almost open-plan with the rest of the property. I admit, I have very classic tastes; many people certainly prefer a more modern look. The owner, Thomas, is extremely kind and always available. I hope to return soon.

The food is absolutely top-notch, even for South Tyrol. The gym and spa are also top-notch. The best part, though, is the staff. They're exceptionally friendly, proactive, and motivated. We'd love to come back.

We were very satisfied with the hotel and the accommodation.
However, there were a few minor drawbacks. Service: We stayed for a week. We had to ask for coffee every single time at breakfast. Waiters even brought it around when they saw us. Coffee should arrive at the beginning of breakfast, not at the end.
The breakfast selection was excellent. Dinner was very good. Again, it would be helpful if they asked about drinks more quickly.
The room was large and spacious. Clean and very soundproof.
Outdoor area: There are far too few sun loungers for the size of the hotel.
If you return from a hike around 4 pm, you can usually only find two loungers next to each other inside.
This needs improvement, as you'd like to spend time outside when the weather is nice.
Improve the service and outdoor area!

After stays in 2016 and 2018, we returned to the Arosea this year. Conclusion:
Rooms: Still fine, clean, attractive, and comfortable – however, (at least in our case) the mattresses were extremely worn and sagging.
Restaurant:
The cuisine and buffet were still of a very high standard; a bit more choice for vegetarians wouldn't be a bad idea.
Service:
Friendly and attentive, but: The clearly visible carrot juice stain on the tablecloth stayed with us from the first to the last day. Clearing up is sometimes a foreign concept to the staff, which is a shame when the used dishes pile up at the edge of the table.
Wellness:
This also needs to be improved a bit, because if you don't find any clean drinking cups at 6 p.m., or the hose for rinsing the seats in the steam room doesn't work, then that's not very hygienic...
General:
For example, it would be standard for a hotel in this category to include a guest card (for use of public transport, etc.).
Conclusion: The high standard that the hotel had almost 10 years ago couldn't quite be maintained, but overall it was still fine.

THE 5-STAR YOU DON'T EXPECT.
First of all, I've been treating myself to a 3-day weekend at a 5-star hotel in South Tyrol for many years now, so I can speak with full knowledge of the facts, having stayed in multiple 5-star hotels over the years. I returned yesterday from 3 days at the Arosea in Val d'Ultimo, and unfortunately, I was very disappointed by the standard one expects from a 5-star hotel. These hotels rise above the rest for the impeccable service they provide to guests who pay top dollar for this standard, especially in South Tyrol, where the level is truly exceptional. The welcome started badly on Thursday evening when I arrived around dinner time. The receptionist was truly rude and a man of very few words. He showed us the garage and our room and told us that dinner was from 7 to 8:30 PM. He didn't even ask us if we needed help with our luggage, which is something all hotels usually do (even those with less stars). We go down to the garage and can't even find a trolley to carry our bags to our room. What the hell? Will you make sure there are trolleys to carry our suitcases to our room?
We go straight to dinner because it's almost 10 and I can't find a gluten-free menu (something I'd reported ahead of time), which is usually prepared separately for guests at the table. We find a waiter (I think Indian) who barely speaks Italian and is truly unprepared. He has to go to the kitchen to ask the chef what I can eat because he doesn't know much. Let's just say things start off badly.
As for the room, I'd chosen a standard room and not a suite. Even here, the basics of a 5-star hotel were missing. There was no coffee maker (which they now practically even have in B&Bs), no shampoo and shower gel in the shower (something that's now practically everywhere), and no evening service, which is guaranteed in all 5-star hotels because they freshen up the room and towels. All things I would have expected from a 5-star hotel.
The worst part is reached on Saturday evening when other guests arrive to check in and the receptionist speaks loudly to the waiters on the first floor, who tell him: "Send these people up to dinner right away?" But this in front of all the hotel guests? I understand it's an open space, but it seems really rude to talk across floors as if I were calling my son who's in the other room.
These are all the things that left a bad taste in my mouth, and I can assure you that they don't deserve their 5-star rating, or at least they need to work hard to reach the 5-star levels of semi-comparable hotels. I hope this review can be useful to someone.

The hotel is very clean and attractive.

The multi-course meals were delicious, as were the salads and breakfast.
What slightly surprised me:
Coffee had to be paid for separately – even at breakfast. I'd never experienced that before – you generally assume it's included.
The spa area is nice – I would have expected something more extensive in a 5-star hotel.
There's a small swimming pool, and the water temperature is rather lukewarm.
Four stars in every category wouldn't be appropriate, but it's not a 5-star hotel either. So, 4.5 stars in the middle.

We brought our little Labrador puppy with us, and they set up a small table for us, and our dog was truly welcome everywhere. The staff in the restaurant area are simply top-notch. We even got to meet the owners. We also loved the location. Beautiful hiking trails for exploring wonderful South Tyrol!

We received a warm welcome and were personally shown to our room.
Because everything is carpeted with wool, it's very quiet in the house; you can't hear a thing from the neighbors. The house smells of Swiss pine. The rooms are beautifully laid out and spacious. There aren't any power outlets right by the bed, but let's look at it positively: it forces you to leave your phone at home at night.
We had significant problems with the mattress, which was immediately replaced after we spoke to reception. They also checked in several times afterward to make sure everything was okay.
The service in the restaurant could perhaps be improved by assigning each server to specific tables, as there were a few mix-ups. We would have liked a histamine-free wine, but unfortunately, none were currently available. The wine list is very extensive, but it consists exclusively of dry wines. The staff's advice on wine selection was also limited. So we decided against it. Both breakfast and the 5-course dinner were delicious and varied!
The spa area was very inviting and clean, with plenty of fresh towels. The swimming pond is teeming with goldfish. I also really appreciated the availability of tea, water, and dried fruit. I would have liked to see some nuts mixed in, though.
It would also be nice if guests sitting on the restaurant terrace couldn't see into the relaxation area through the windows.
I treated myself to a cupping massage, and Martha really did a significant job of improving my shoulder!
All in all, a truly fantastic hotel where almost every wish is granted! The concept is very well-rounded!
Oh, and anyone complaining about the exterior should definitely look into this type of wooden facade; a 2-star rating is downright outrageous.

Beautiful hotel. Comfortable rooms with a lot of wood and private terraces. The love for detail comes through in all areas of the hotel. The dining rooms are beautifully divided into different areas. The sauna and recovery rooms also provide a lot of choice. Privacy is easy to find, both inside and in the garden where there is also a natural pool and a separate heated one with recliners in the water - not big, but lovely. The staff are friendly and the owners are involved hands-on. I can highly recommend Arosea.

There are several superlatives for the Arosea in the Ulten Valley: The greatest praise goes to the employees and their diverse work. Whether in the morning at breakfast, at lunch with coffee and snacks, or at the evening meal: the service was friendly, accommodating, competent, and cordial. And there was always a friendly and, above all, personal welcome when meeting someone. The other employees in the wellness area, sauna, reception, and housekeeping were also helpful in every way and simply super nice.
The food was excellent. A rich and varied breakfast awaited us in the morning. The regional products in the bread (sensational) and the sausage, jam, and fresh egg dishes were a delight. In the evening, you could choose from a 6-course menu. The menu with the various dishes to choose from was available at breakfast in the morning. Tyrolean cuisine is already in a class of its own. If you haven't experienced it in its finest form yet, you can find it every evening at the Arosea!
The hotel complex is nestled in the Ulten Valley, surrounded by mountains and in close proximity to the lake. What makes the beautiful landscape so appealing, namely the hilly villages and towns, has been recreated on a small scale in the hotel's large garden. An open, spacious area with an indoor and outdoor pool. Surrounding it are sun loungers directly by the pool, but also in numerous niches, some higher up, some more hidden, some a little further away, and always with shady parasols and very comfortable loungers and cushions. The wellness area features four saunas, each one unique in its own right. Various drinks are available everywhere. From 7:00 a.m., the pools and the studio are available for early morning exercise.
We stayed in a Zirmbaum room on the east side for a week with a large balcony, walk-in closet, and plenty of space. The hotel's descriptions are accurate in every respect. The room surprises with a tasteful dispenser of the delicious mineral water.
In general, nature is omnipresent, visible and odorous, with its materials such as pine wood, sheep's wool, and slate.
There are many hiking opportunities. We had our e-bikes with us. The selection and options for tours are manageable. Generally, there are (of course) a lot of elevation gain to overcome.
A hotel that we highly recommend. The hotel's own descriptions are accurate in every respect.

From check-in to leaving the underground parking garage after check-out, the hotel left us with a relaxing and pleasant impression. A great hotel with lots of natural materials. The rooms are very spacious, with walk-in closets and open-plan bathrooms with bathtubs. There's even a private drinking water tap.
The food is also highly commendable, both the multi-course dinner with a large salad buffet and the sumptuous breakfast with a show chef for egg dishes.
The wellness area features various saunas, including a lounge sauna with separate wooden loungers. The indoor pool is large enough for swimming laps. I particularly liked the swimming lake, where you can cool off at night or use the two SUPs during the day.
The large underground parking garage with wide parking spaces is also a plus. We would love to come back.

A fantastic hotel in a wonderfully secluded location. Ideal for hiking, mountain biking, or even just relaxing in the spa. This is our sixth time at the Arosea and we've been rewarded with a wonderful stay each time. The family room is huge, with two separate bedrooms and a very large bathroom. Breakfast is absolutely adequate. Dinner is high-quality and has a well-stocked wine list, although we always opt for the regional South Tyrolean wines. Drink prices are fair and in line with the standards of other 4*S hotels we've stayed at.

The spa isn't particularly large, but we particularly enjoyed the sauna with loungers and the steam snail. A lovely bar with tea, Grander water, and a great nut blend. Unfortunately, there are very few relaxation rooms, and those that do have rather uncomfortable reclining positions. Sustainability is very important here. The decor is made from natural products. The food was extremely good and presented very beautifully and with high quality. There was often a "wow" factor here. The breakfast was also delicious, featuring homemade products. The room was very spacious with a walk-in closet and a large balcony. A few more power outlets would have been nice. The hotel isn't centrally located, but it's ideal for nature lovers, hikers, and bikers.

The room is very large and spacious, although the lighting around the mirror could be a bit brighter. The spa area is good, with various saunas. Unfortunately, the sauna infusions are inconsistent, often spontaneous, or sometimes not offered at all. The stone sauna should be brighter, as it's quite dark there. Breakfast is also good, although the fruit selection could be expanded. The omelet server should be permanently stationed at the pans. I wasn't aware that they would come when someone is waiting. Dinner is truly excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is ample parking in the underground garage, which is quite large. The location is also ideal for hiking or traveling to Merano, for example.

We, a young couple of outdoor enthusiasts, spent four nights at the Hotel Arosea. The rooms, furnished with Swiss pine wood, are spacious and feature a walk-in closet, a separate toilet, and a balcony. We were (luckily) given an east-facing room, which meant it didn't get too hot on warm days (all rooms are without air conditioning). Unfortunately, the rooms have relatively few electrical outlets, making charging smartphones and other devices a bit tricky – but that's just a minor point. Although the hotel is located directly on the main road at the entrance to Kuppelwies, this isn't a problem at all with the window open. After a hike or bike ride, hanging laundry on the balcony is a bit of a challenge. While there is a rack on the wall, there aren't any suitable hangers in the room. Guests can store and charge their own bicycles in the locked ski room.
The breakfast is above average – we particularly enjoyed the juicer, which allows guests to make their own fresh juices. Otherwise, the usual selection is available (regional sausage and cheese, muesli, etc.). Dinner is a multi-course meal. Upon arrival at your personally assigned table (which you keep for the entire stay), you are immediately given the wine list and asked several times which wine you would like. You are also offered a (chargeable) bottle of water – this is somewhat surprising, as water was provided free of charge in the room (Grander water) and throughout your stay. Be aware of this. The regular drinks menu is only available upon request. The evening courses are quite tasty and well-prepared; however, don't expect overly large portions.
We would particularly like to commend our waiter, László, who was always happy to chat and offered suggestions for things to do.
The Arosea offers a large wellness and relaxation area with a pool and swimming pond – it should be a pleasant place to spend time even in bad weather.
The hotel is discreet and values professional anonymity towards its guests. Those seeking a more intimate, family-run hotel where they feel more than just a guest will likely be disappointed. During our stay, the Arosea gave the impression that outdoor enthusiasts weren't exactly its target audience. However, those looking for a relaxing getaway with wellness treatments and tranquility will certainly find it to their liking.

We stayed for a few days with half-board. The food was delicious and served very elegantly. The breakfast was very extensive and plentiful for us. The pine room was very spacious with a walk-in closet. A large TV and comfortable beds. The bathroom is special. You have to know each other well as a couple. Not for the shy. Unfortunately, the shower doesn't have a rain showerhead. Beautiful view of the reservoir. Since this is a nature hotel, the wood paneling of the building has become very dark over time. The view isn't that great, but it's natural. What I particularly liked was the natural pool with the goldfish. Unfortunately, bathers don't consider that wearing sunscreen isn't a good idea when swimming in a natural pool. Every day, I saw a film of cream on the water's surface. I wasn't surprised when I saw a large dead goldfish in the pond. Unfortunately, it still hadn't been removed after two days. The door from the indoor pool to the outdoor pool next to the natural pool is also nice. There are also shops in the hotel. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay. We would come back. Really nice.

For wellness, hiking, and nature lovers: I can wholeheartedly recommend the AROSEA Life Balance Hotel in Kuppelwies am See in the Ultental Valley (South Tyrol)! They pay meticulous attention to every detail, the service staff is incredibly knowledgeable, and you can always ask at the buffet if you're unsure about anything. According to the owner, you can identify all the ingredients just by looking at them – "nothing is hidden." Fresh bread rolls were always waiting for me at the table in the morning and evening. When I ordered my meal, they immediately offered alternatives. I didn't miss out on anything! A paradise for people with celiac disease!

In brief:
Positive:
Service - The staff were very attentive and quick-witted.
Room - The room was very spacious and we felt comfortable.
Cleanliness - Everything was tidy and clean, in our opinion.
Towels - There were always enough towels in the sauna.
Breakfast - My highlight was the crepe and the option to make your own juice. However, I would have preferred some bread, especially whole-grain bread, rather than just rolls. We love the coffee specialties from the portafilter machine.
Negative:
Dinner - It always sounded great on the menu and looked good, but we didn't find it a hit in terms of taste. I especially found my frequently chosen vegetarian option to be a makeshift solution. For example, there was lamb and a ready-made frozen spring roll, and unfortunately, it wasn't even very crispy.
Quiet nights - Unfortunately, there's a busy road nearby, so you can't sleep with the window open, or you'll be woken up early in the morning.
Snacks - We're used to something different from other hotels. Here, it was rather spartan.
Restaurant space - We would have been assigned a fixed spot in a room for a week, mornings and evenings, with no music playing and no view of the beautiful lake or the mountains. That would have been a real shame. Fortunately, the manager, at our request, moved us to another spot after a few days.
Pool - Female guests found the water temperature too cold.

We stayed at this hotel in the Ulten Valley for a few days. I particularly enjoyed the tranquility the building exudes. It's reminiscent of a lodge in Canada. The receptionist was friendly and competent. The room, with its pine furniture, was pleasant, although the "cloakroom" was more reminiscent of a makeshift arrangement. Breakfast and dinner were impeccable, but the buffet could definitely be improved, especially with regard to Mediterranean appetizers such as sun-dried tomatoes, olives, artichokes, or feta cheese, all of which were completely missing. Unfortunately, the manager of the hotel was a negative, as she apparently has no desire to engage in conversation with guests or even to warmly greet or farewell them. This makes her out of place in this industry and struck us as if she had already mentally resigned. Some things seem dated, and the backlog of renovations is sometimes obvious. The location above a relatively noisy road, and currently, there's a construction crane in front of the door. From a design perspective, the use of low-maintenance conifers is somewhat excessive and unimaginative. For the asking price of several hundred euros per night, the overall experience is unfortunately far too limited. Overall, 3/5 stars. There are now better alternatives in the Ulten Valley.

The breakfast was also very good, with the wonderful bread from Ultner Bio Beck. The staff is truly, without exception, extremely friendly. My only suggestion would be to enlarge the Finnish sauna a bit... perhaps with a view of the small, private lake; that would be wonderful. But it was super hot, which is really great, since in many hotels the Finnish sauna is often not turned on very hot. Compliments to the wonderful Hotel Arosea!

There weren't enough loungers by the outdoor pool. Our waiter was very accommodating. Unfortunately, the hotel didn't offer any hiking suggestions, and we missed the morning newsletter with the weather forecast and activity suggestions. Prices for a bottle of wine start at just €32.

Highly recommended; we spent a wonderful week here. Very comfortable and spacious rooms. We had a fantastic view of the reservoir. About a 40-minute drive to Merano. The food is unbeatable; the half-board included six courses every evening, each one better than the last. Very, very friendly staff, whether at reception, in the restaurant, or in room service. The owners were happy to help wherever they could if we had any questions. Breakfast on the terrace with a view of the mountains was heavenly. Also worth mentioning are the sauna area and the outdoor pool with numerous loungers. Five stars for the Arosea!

A wonderful, well-maintained hotel with excellent cuisine.
Every attention has been paid to detail in the hotel and its rooms. The hotel has an underground parking garage and an elevator.
There is also an indoor pool with an adjacent outdoor pool, as well as a large swimming pond. We also have various saunas with relaxation areas in the hotel. The reservoir and the Mugegg cable car are in the immediate vicinity.
Breathtaking scenery all around. The complete package is simply perfect.

Google shows the hotel as a 5* – it simply calls it a "boutique hotel" without mentioning any stars. For me, it's a good 4*S hotel, but it's lacking a few things to qualify as 5*, such as completely blacked-out rooms, air conditioning, a 16:9 TV instead of a small 4:3, room service, and "real" coat hangers. Note: the Wi-Fi doesn't reach the rooms... but you can get a router at reception.
The rooms are otherwise spacious and tastefully furnished in a modern style (lots of wood and slate), with great views and a very nice bathroom with a walk-in shower. Unfortunately, the hotel is quite noisy.
Very good breakfast, excellent Bircher muesli. Delicious evening menus, although the "cheese buffet" consists entirely of carelessly chopped semi-hard cheese.
The bar exudes more of a lounge/lobby atmosphere.
The wellness area is consistently very good and has enough space for every guest. Four different mineral waters are offered, both natural and sparkling.
Very spacious parking spaces, although the artificial birdsong in the garage is a bit loud and intrusive.
Unfortunately, the farewell was cold and unprofessional. No "How did you like it?" or "We'd love to see you again sometime."

The good news first: The rooms are very nice, and the spa/pool area is exceptionally beautiful. Less positive aspects include the uncomfortable, hard wooden benches at dinner (we almost had to fight for another table the next day), the exorbitant wine prices, and the breakfast service. Neither scrambled eggs nor a second coffee were offered, and even though there were few guests in the room, we had to send for both. Despite several good approaches, the high-priced 5-star claim was not fulfilled.

The hotel is quietly located directly on a large reservoir. The decor is harmonious, with a successful combination of traditional and modern elements. The hotel has a large spa and wellness area with a combined indoor and outdoor pool. The highlight, however, is the private swimming pond right next to the outdoor pool and the large garden, in which small sunbathing areas are separated by mountain pines. We had a Swiss stone pine double room with a view of the lake. The room is large and beautifully furnished, especially the Swiss stone pine furniture, creating a wonderful atmosphere. Only the open-plan bathroom might not be to everyone's taste. The toilet is in a separate room.
The food focuses on organic ingredients and the use of local products, which is highly commendable. There is a lovely salad, bread, cheese, and spread/pestilence buffet. The individual courses were always excellent.

A beautiful and exceptional hotel in the Ulten Valley, located at 1200 meters above sea level, surrounded by fragrant meadows and expansive forests. Old farms are nearby, along the path, and the trails invite you to take long walks.
Up here, the air is clear and filled with the scent of freshly cut hay. A beautiful spot in the middle of the mountains.
The hotel offers everything I expect as a guest. A beautiful sauna area with an outdoor sauna and a natural swimming pond. The spacious garden offers plenty of space with cozy resting areas.
The rooms have a lovely balcony and are comfortably furnished with lots of wood and natural stone.
Culinary delights are served in the morning and evening, all freshly sourced from the region. The bread is particularly good and crispy.
The service is friendly, very professional, and very cordial, fulfilling every wish. It is a pleasure to be here and to leave the city and everyday life behind.

"Hotel" is a bit of an understatement; it feels like a little corner of paradise. A beautiful valley with little traffic. The hotel is an oasis for pampering and relaxing, with all the amenities of a top-notch spa. The food is superb, as is the breakfast. In the evening, you dine in small, modernized wooden stube rooms. The personal service is 5-star. All the saunas are comfortable and well-maintained. They have an outdoor fireplace in the winter for a wonderful post-sauna experience. Stayed at Arosea as a part of the Audi Driving Experience program. Amazingly calm and relaxing hotel, in strong contrast to our driving. The surrounding roads are perfect for car or motorcycle enthusiasts, and staying at Arosea is just what I needed after a long day of intensive driving. The food was great in the restaurant, just the selection of bread and pestos were astonishing. We did not try much of the spa facilities, but the service in the restaurant was impeccable. Indoor car parking is nice. Great view from the hotel room, valley is very calm and soothing. I will definitely be bringing my future wife here.

Beautiful view of the reservoir from our balcony. The staff was very well trained and, with one exception, very helpful. The hotel is located in a picturesque setting, ideal for hiking. The hotel itself is also inviting to relax. Aromatherapy oils are diffused throughout, the sauna and pool are very well maintained, and you can enjoy a drink and a snack (fruit, nuts) in the sauna at any time.

Der wunderschöne Schwimmteich war zwar schon zu kalt zum Baden, die angrenzende Sonnenterasse mit Liegekissen lud aber jeweils noch etwas zum Sonnenbaden und Relaxen ein. Very good hotel. We spent a long weekend here to take a break from everyday life. This hotel offers everything you need. The cozy ambiance, a blend of modern elements and rustic wood, is impressive across the board.
The staff is also extremely friendly and helpful in every department.
The food selection is also top-notch and offers something for everyone. We are vegans and had announced this in advance, so every evening there was an unusual and extremely good vegan menu on the menu.
The wellness facilities are impeccable and offer everything everyone is looking for. Although we haven't been sauna-goers before, we were able to sweat it out a few times and develop a passion for saunas. The well-equipped fitness room also deserves special mention. Here you'll find everything you need for a good workout, including several dumbbells, a barbell, a multi-press machine, a leg press, and even a few cardio machines. So, far more than in the average fitness rooms of most other hotels.
In any case, we are completely impressed and this certainly won't be the last time we stay here.

I spent the Christmas holidays with my family and many friends. The hotel was wonderful! Very spacious rooms for large families like mine, excellent cuisine, a very large spa with two saunas and two Turkish baths, plenty of relaxation areas, and a heated outdoor pool.

The staff are super friendly and accommodating, even to the children.
In the afternoon, there's a large selection of delicious and exotic teas, fresh fruit, and dried fruit.
Breakfast and dinner are delicious and made with great, high-quality natural products. Everything is very fresh.
The rooms are very large, bright, and tidy. The rooms have a large dressing room with plenty of storage space.
The spa area is first-class, with a swimming pool, great saunas, and a super cozy relaxation area with hanging loungers, and much more.
There's a beautiful, large playroom for the children with plenty of toys.
Parking in the hotel's underground garage is free.
In conclusion: If you're truly looking for a balance in life, this is the place for you. You can spend the whole day at the hotel without getting bored.

I really liked it.....even if the atmosphere there isn't the best....in any case it has an outdoor garden, solarium, view of the Val d'Ultimo lake....with a fairly renowned cuisine....worth trying

Die Küche war fein und abwechslungsreich. Das Personal war zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich sowie mit besonderem Witz. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr ruhig. Die Zimmer sind gegen Lärm sehr gut isoliert. Die Lage des Hotels ist als Ausgangspunkt für sportliche Aktivitäten im Freien ideal. Das Angebot von Freitzeitmöglichkeiten im Tal sowie im Hotel sind prima.

Als wir ankamen wurden wir sehr freundlich begrüßt... Das Zimmer aus Zirbe hatte einen angenehmen Geruch, auch das Granderwasser im Zimmer hatt uns begeistert.... Zum Abendessen wurden uns 3 Menüs angeboten und es hat fast alles gut geschmeckt. Sowohl das Salatbüffet am Abend und das Frühstück war sehr auswahlrreich. Die Sauna aus Zirbe war was besonderes und auch die Ruherräume aus Zirbe und Schafwolle.

I travel a lot in the hotel industry myself. The Arosea is a top-notch establishment. The hosts put a lot of heart and soul into their service, a fantastic guest program, great for families, and truly excellent cuisine. The Life Balance menus, calculated based on calories, are particularly excellent. Plus, a fantastic wellness area and a fantastic location. It's right next to the cable car in winter and an ideal starting point for hikes in summer. A true gem in the Ulten Valley. An absolute insider tip. You only have to take a look at their social media activity to feel immediately welcome. We felt completely at home and can 100% recommend this hotel, and not just because of the warmth.
