Hotel Sand in Tschars in Vinschgau is a traditional house with modern cuisine and an extensive wine cellar, which attaches great importance to comfort and culinary delights. The hotel offers individually furnished, cosy and stylish rooms and suites. The annexe offers 12 spacious rooms. Opportunities for relaxation provide the 600 m² wellness area with a new 25 m sports pool (heated), indoor pool, saunas and various treatments, the spacious garden with pool and swimming pond and the fitness room. We prepare our delicious dishes lovingly and carefully with products from the region. In fact, we can guarantee freshness and quality. We serve traditional South Tyrolean cuisine with Mediterranean influence, accompanied by matching wines. For our active guests we offer healthy and tasty meals, which are the perfect addition to a hike or bike holiday in South Tyrol. As well, our guests with food incompatibilities or allergies are indulged with varied menus from our kitchen.
Hotel Sand offers many extras for hikers. We will be happy to advise you on equipment or give you personalised tips and suggestions for hikes. Of course, we also offer a series of guided hikes with various degrees of difficulty. Our hiking info point offers many maps and nature books. Per room, we rent a rucksack, bottles and hiking sticks for free.
Recommendations for tours and maps are available at the reception. We will be pleased to give you our personal tips. We also offer trekking bikes free of charge. High-quality mountain bikes, e-bikes and road bikes can be rented at the Ötzi Bikeshop. Furthermore, our house provides 10 guided cycling tours a week. Our bike room is the perfect storage for your e-bikes.
