The hotel is very clean but a bit dated. Even in the fall, you can relax in the outdoor pool (34-37 degrees Celsius) with a whirlpool. Inside, there's a normal-temperature pool with a countercurrent jet and a whirlpool with warm water. The beautiful outdoor pool is also very nice in the summer. We didn't use the sauna, but the nude area looks very nice. Overall, it was very good, the price-performance ratio was good, and the staff was very friendly.

I've just returned from my third wellness vacation at this hotel. A fourth and more are sure to follow.
The hotel offers a very nice and varied pool selection, which is very important to me.
The breakfast buffet is very extensive and beautifully presented; nothing is lacking.
The excellent multi-course dinner menu needs no mention; it has already been praised enough by others.
The service is also excellent. You feel like you're being looked after at all times, without it feeling intrusive.
I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

• A particularly nice touch: the hotel is dog-friendly – our four-legged friend was very welcome.
Minor criticisms:
• The afternoon snack consisted exclusively of sweet dishes (coffee, cake, fruit). If you prefer something savory, you'll unfortunately have to head into town.
• The hotel itself is nice, but you can tell it's a bit dated. A modernization or a little freshening up would do the place good.
Overall, though, it was a very pleasant stay – we'd love to come back!

It was a perfect vacation. We spent 8 days there. Our room had a jacuzzi and infrared sauna on the balcony. The privacy was perfect. We also sunbathed on the terrace. The spa and gym have every comfort. The food was excellent. The owners (especially Peter) were always available to offer suggestions for tours, walks, and tastings, etc. The staff were always available. I couldn't find a flaw. The quality/price ratio was excellent. We hope to return soon!

We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights and were thrilled. The location is ideal for starting activities right away. The bus stop is right near the hotel, the train station is just a 10-minute walk, and hiking trails can be reached quickly in just a few minutes through the beautiful town of Schlanders. The hiking area is beautiful and varied. This also applies to the e-bike routes.
The room is spacious with a large balcony and has everything you need and is nicely furnished. If the mattresses are a bit harder, you can immediately get soft toppers.
The breakfast is simply wonderful. 6 different types of bread, each one tastier than the last. The same applies to the many types of rolls. There are also several sweet treats. True delicacies. Egg dishes, all types of muesli, freshly squeezed fruit juice, and vegetable smoothies. And much more. In the afternoon, there is wonderful cake and fresh fruit (finely sliced and prepared, and also many varieties). The evening menu tops off the culinary delights even further. The kitchen conjures up taste and visual masterpieces, all in generous portions.
The outdoor pool area is beautifully landscaped and very well-maintained. The indoor pool is nicely warm and large enough for swimming. The indoor and outdoor whirlpools are simply wonderful, and the wellness area as a whole is hard to beat. A place to relax and unwind.
The staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and competent. They convey their joy in their work to guests and act as a team that gets along well. There's plenty of laughter, too. And at the heart of it all are the owners and hosts, who have a great team around them and are involved and supportive in everything they do.
We would love to return and can recommend the hotel without reservation.

A very well-kept hotel, just steps from the city center, with ample parking and a covered garage.
Very helpful and attentive staff.
The room was beautiful: a designer suite with a double bedroom, a single bedroom (both with smart TVs), two bathrooms, one with a separate toilet, very comfortable and with many thoughtful touches (a cosmetic mirror, a multifunction shower, excellent toiletries).
The spa is beautiful, with several saunas, a Turkish bath, a large hot tub, and a spacious relaxation area.
The outdoor pool with hot tub is lovely, as is the indoor pool.
An honorable mention for the cuisine. The breakfast buffet was generous, with a wide selection of sweet and savory items, cereals, and fruit, all of excellent quality. Dinner included a generous buffet of appetizers, a soup, a first course, and a choice of three second courses (one vegetarian), as well as cheeses and dessert.
We will definitely be back!!!

We booked the package with early arrival and late departure in a deluxe room. The advantage: with a short stay, you get almost an extra day on site. The room itself is spacious, and the private terrace with loungers, a daily freshly filled whirlpool, and a private infrared cabin is, of course, sensational. The 6-course menu is well-prepared and fantastic. Incredibly spacious, with several indoor pools and wellness offerings, we were pleasantly surprised by the wellness area. We had a large, spacious room with a balcony and a fantastic view. We also booked three-quarter board (breakfast, afternoon snack, and dinner). The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired, and there was also a menu where you could order things like fried eggs with bacon or ham, etc. Everything else you could possibly want was available at the large buffet.
The daily five-course dinner (which you could choose from several options at breakfast) was varied, and the appetizer buffet was superb, with many different cold dishes and a large salad bar. The food, served by the exceptionally friendly and attentive staff, was varied, plentiful, delicious, and very creatively presented.
There was also a cheese buffet to finish off the meal.
What really stands out is the outstanding hospitality of both the hosts and the entire staff.
The spa area is very large and not crowded; you can truly relax in the quiet area.
Conclusion: Excellent value for money.
Everything was top-notch again! We'll definitely be back.

According to the description, this hotel is a four-star superior hotel. Unfortunately, we cannot confirm this classification for the following reasons:
The furnishings throughout the hotel are showing their age – both visually and in terms of comfort. This is particularly evident in the rooms. While our bathroom was freshly renovated and very attractive, the rest of the room felt dark and uninviting. The furnishings consisted of a mix of modern and older furniture – unfortunately, not in the charmingly old sense, but rather very worn. The overall combination seemed unloving.
The biggest drawback: There was no air conditioning. We were there in August with an outside temperature of 35C – and the room was correspondingly unbearably hot. Incidentally, we didn't have the cheapest room, but a deluxe room with an infrared cabin and whirlpool on the balcony, and the room description stated that it was air-conditioned. However, this was not true. The whirlpool was indeed a highlight and deserved five stars – but everything else, unfortunately, was not.
We had booked 3/4 board. Since we have regularly vacationed in South Tyrol over the past four years, mostly in hotels with at least four stars superior, we can compare – and we have to say: The food here was unfortunately far below average. The value for money wasn't right for us. We probably could have eaten better and much cheaper at a good pizzeria.
The atmosphere was also mixed. The restaurant staff were friendly, but often seemed unsure and couldn't answer questions about the daily specials without first asking the kitchen. Standard dishes that can be ordered off-menu in many comparable establishments (e.g., schnitzel, fries, or simple pasta dishes) were not available.
The hosts themselves – if the gentleman was indeed the boss – seemed distant. No friendly "Hello" or "Good evening," more like standing around in silence. Not a drama, but not inviting either.
Important for dog owners: Despite prior notification of our arrival with a dog, there was neither a dog bed nor bowls in the room – this is standard in other establishments of this category.

The friendliness of the family who run it and the staff deserves special mention.
The culinary skills at this hotel are phenomenal. Starting with a breakfast that leaves nothing to be desired, delicious cakes and fresh fruit at the afternoon buffet, and in the evening, the kitchen crew puts the finishing touch on a wonderful day.
The wellness area is modern, large, and very clean. The two outdoor pools complement each other perfectly: one with slightly cooler water and a huge, warm whirlpool.
The fitness area is equipped with every piece of equipment you could wish for.
We highly recommend this hotel. We were out on our motorcycles and took excursions in a different direction every day.

My wife and I spent 13 days in the Vinschgau Valley in May, using it as a base for day trips by bike. The hotel provided an ideal starting point for this. It has a lockable bike parking area in the underground garage. The breakfast buffet was excellent and was perfectly tailored to our needs, including the option to ask about special requests (egg variations, fresh orange juice, etc.). The ever-changing dinner menu offered delicious vegetarian dishes as well as always one meat and one fish option. The service was very attentive and friendly, both in the morning and evening. The head waiter, Giovanni, with his charming Italian personality, kept everything running smoothly. The daily changing of the bed linens and towels was a bit excessive, but the friendly hotel owners explained that this was the expectation of many guests. The indoor and outdoor pools were fantastic. The sauna area left nothing to be desired. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back.

A very lovely hotel. Both the hosts and the staff cater to every need. There's a very personal and welcoming atmosphere. The excellent cuisine deserves special mention; it rivals even Michelin-starred chefs! Robert's superb cocktails, prepared with great enthusiasm, were another highlight, drawing us to the bar time and time again.

Spring 2025 was the second time for us in this hotel, and it consolidated our opinion of it. Both times we stayed for three days as a short romantic getaway.
The hotel is in downtown Schlanders, a 5-minute walk to everything you could need (including the local market), and close to hiking and cycling paths completely surrounded by nature, if you prefer an active and adventorous vacation. The hotel also provides local transportation passes, if you need them.
We chose to relax and stayed in the hotel for most of the time, taking advantage of their spa pools and their massage services (shouout to Andrea, very discreet and professional): the have a outdoor cold pool, a medium lukewarm outdoor hydrotherapy pool, another lukewarm upstream indoor pool, a hot hydrotherapy pool, a lounge room, sauna and turkish sauna and such.
The rooms are quite standard for the area (but I don't think that's what really matters, because you're still not gonna spend all day in your room): comfortable bedding, essentially tidy, clean and full of natural lighting; the view from some rooms might not be the best (don't expect just mountains), as we're still downtown, but they did their best to ensure privacy and quiet by placing high trees and plants that mask most of the urban scenery from the surrounding area.
The first thing that keeps us coming is the (at least bilingual) staff. While being kind and corteous is the general standards for hotels like these, I think they bring it to another level: most of the staff is young and friendly, even up to chat for a while (and maybe recommends local places to go), but still very discreet. Very good service, extreme kindness and willingness are their triumph card.
The second thing is, of course, the food. While this should be another high standard for this type of hotels, we know it is not always the case, unfortunately. In this case were geniuinely amazed, not just by the selection, but also at the quality of the food we were served!
International breakfast with local cold cuts, cheeses and breads, a variety of yogurts and cereals, juices, and such. While they don't provide lunch (it might not be worth it, considering many guests are probably hiking at that time), there's a small mid-afternoon buffet with fresh fruits and cakes available. While I think it the experience might be improved by adding a salted snacks selection to it, it's still worth it as everything tastes amazing. Dinnertime is where the kitchen displays everything they do best: rich appetizers buffet, cheese and chutney selections, 5-courses well-balanced meals (with vegetarian options). Everything is fresh, with seasonal and, again, local produces, seasoned, cooked and portioned to perfection.
The third thing, but this is just due to a personal issue, is the temperature of the water. Many other places have extremely hot water in their pools, and while I get that can be part of the relaxation for some people, for medical reasons, I couldn't use it without getting sick, therefore ruining the rest of my vacation. The water here is just perfect, that even the hottest water doesn't make me sick, so I can actually enjoy the pools. Fair warning, for those who are not used to it: expect nudity in the pool areas.
Both times we were there we always felt very welcome, and sent pictures to our family and friends and recommended them to try this place.
Honorable mention: we got engaged here (thanks again to the staff, for helping my fiancee setting up the surprise at dinner, and for filming the proposal), and we're considering coming back to this hotel with our best men after the wedding for another relaxing weekend.

A truly fantastic hotel in the heart of Schlanders.
The rooms are superb, impeccably maintained, and equipped with a great deal of comfort.
The food is excellent, both at breakfast and in the form of the six-course dinner menus. There wasn't a single thing we didn't enjoy. Of course, you can sometimes find even more exquisite cuisine in luxury restaurants, but in our opinion, this is a 5-star experience.
The spa area is large and well-equipped with a truly spacious indoor and outdoor pool. Unfortunately, the water in the outdoor pool was so cold that none of us wanted to go in.
The hotel's greatest strength, however, is the service. Everywhere you go, you are treated with absolute friendliness and courtesy. The standard here is higher than in some 5-star hotels – fantastic! We can absolutely overlook the fact that the underground parking garage is open during the day and doesn't have a charging station for the latest generation of electric cars.
We will definitely be back.

We are thrilled with our fourth stay at the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten!
We appreciate the comfortable box spring beds and the spacious room. Before the excellent breakfast, we use the well-equipped fitness room and swim a few lengths in the indoor pool. During the day, there are plenty of things to do in the surrounding area: from bike tours and hikes to shopping at the various markets. Back at the Vier Jahreszeiten, we occasionally sit down in the cozy lobby and fortify ourselves with a delicious snack. And then we look forward to relaxing in the beautifully appointed spa area or, occasionally, in the romantic private spa.
Dinner is a delight, offering various menu options. They also take into account any food intolerances with utmost consideration. The entire staff is very friendly, helpful, and attentive to our needs. Thank you very much, we are already looking forward to our fifth stay!

Our stay at the Four Seasons Hotel was very pleasant and relaxing. We particularly liked the excellent food and the beautiful garden with pool and whirlpool. The scenic trails that lead through green meadows provided a wonderful opportunity for walks and we were able to observe many butterflies.
Another advantage of the hotel is the easy access to the city of Merano, which we use for a trip on a rainy day. The staff was friendly and attentive, which further enriched our stay.
Overall, we were very satisfied and would definitely recommend the Hotel Vier Seasons. It was a successful holiday with many beautiful moments.

Spacious rooms with wood paneling and enormous crystal chandeliers.
Well-maintained outdoor spaces, featuring a large pool with loungers and a green sunbathing area.
A spa area occupies an entire basement level with traditional and infrared saunas, a Turkish bath, a whirlpool tub, a heated counter-current pool, and a massage area.

Thanks to a holiday voucher, we were able to spend four nights at the Vier Jahreszeiten in Schlanders. We were able to book after our fifth attempt. It was strange that the hotel suggested dates that we had previously rejected. The hotel (lobby, dining room, outdoor area) was beautiful. The room certainly can't be compared to a 4-star hotel in the Allgäu or Austria. We were particularly negatively affected by the manager's arrogant demeanor. No smile, no friendly conversation, no greeting. It seems that the guest should pay their respects to the queen. The staff, however, is always very friendly.
Conclusion: Upon departure, the thoughts of wonderful days in South Tyrol were not dominant, but rather the frustration of having been treated condescendingly. We will therefore not book the hotel again.

I stayed at this property during the summer. I found the location itself to be very, very beautiful, a definite standout in that part of town. The rooms are very, very nice. I would have expected a bit more light and energy in the bar area leading to the pool (a bit dull). But it could also fit in with the hotel's style. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I could perhaps find some criticism regarding the upkeep of the outdoor area and both pools, including the spa area. All in all, it's definitely not four-star superior. Would I return? I booked the hotel at short notice (for a motorcycle trip). Everything went smoothly, and everything was ready for check-in – I just had to sign. The outdoor pool (21C) is very spacious and beautifully designed. The wellness area is also very spacious, diverse (several saunas), and has a very pleasant ambiance. The outdoor area with its pool is very nice. The food is of good quality and varied. The staff is friendly, especially the young waiter, Leonardo, and the two ladies at breakfast. Our room was a mix of old and new and had no air conditioning, and the balcony didn't offer any privacy from the neighboring room.
Coffee and a kettle in the room would have been good, but the shower tray in the bathroom is very slippery. The location is not suitable for travelers with dogs, as there is no green space nearby. The two ladies at the reception are very cold; they seem to have no interest in the guests. For the price, we expected more.

The room was gorgeous, as were the outdoor pool and indoor saunas. We also purchased a 55-square-meter private sauna package; yes, 55 square meters, accompanied by a varied fruit buffet and a bottle of champagne—AWESOME! We also rented Bosch-powered e-bikes for half a day (you can also rent them for the whole day). Top hotel for the Venosta Valley!
I've taken many family vacations in South Tyrol, both summer and winter, but this is perhaps the best property I've ever stayed in, especially for its value. Starting with the room: functional, clean, spacious, and modernly furnished with every comfort, with a balcony overlooking the village of Silandro. Moving on to the food: from breakfast to dinner (with an afternoon snack), a quality selection awaits. The evening menu is simply fantastic, featuring a variety of carefully selected dishes (from fish to meat, and vegetarian options) and served with meticulous attention. And one detail: I love the presence of Prosecco in the morning buffet (only found in the most attentive establishments) to accompany the savory dishes before a hike in the mountains. Another highlight is the wellness center: truly spacious and clean, with one of the most spectacular saunas I've ever experienced, a pool with hydromassage, a hammam, a large relaxation area with herbal teas, an indoor and outdoor pool, a garden, a terrace/solarium, and more. The hospitality was truly top-notch and attentive to every detail; the family who owns it, as well as the staff, were always kind, friendly, discreet, and ready to accommodate every need. I also appreciated and utilized the bike rental service: ultra-modern, pedal-assisted, and much cheaper than local shops. With the opportunities offered by the area and the well-maintained Claudia Augusta cycling path, even those who aren't regular cyclists can enjoy some wonderful rides. I personally reached the Stelvio Pass (82 km round trip), but that requires some training. Another welcome feature: the hotel offers guests the Val Venosta card, which provides free public transportation and discounts on many activities (e.g., cable cars/chairlifts and bike rentals). Silandro is a nice, quiet, and centrally located town for exploring the Venosta Valley, yet still offering all the amenities you need.

First of all, I'd like to say that the food definitely deserves a full 5 stars! The service deducts points. Everything started out great. We were greeted by name immediately upon entering. Great! However, the standard couldn't be maintained. My wife and I had chosen different starters for our menu. Unfortunately, my wife received her starter first, and I was able to watch her eat. Then I received my starter, and my wife was able to watch me.
The rest of the meal went as it should. It was annoying, however, that some of the staff walked past us with their shoes clacking loudly.
It was very annoying that we received the bill without being asked for it before we were finished. Sorry, that's completely unacceptable.

We spent a few days in this wonderful, centrally located, and very quiet hotel.
We received a very warm welcome and were immediately shown to our room.
We were even able to easily change our booked family room into two double rooms. The rooms were very clean and spacious, especially the bathroom with its shower.
The spa area was very modern and left nothing to be desired. Unfortunately, we weren't able to enjoy the outdoor pool and the beautiful garden yet (it was still a bit cold). We will definitely do so at a later date.
The food was prepared with great attention to detail, and the selection was extensive. A big compliment to the kitchen!

I stayed at this hotel in April of this year for a weekend and had a wonderful time.
As someone who pays great attention to aesthetics, I loved the Chef's presentations. He seemed like an artist on loan to the kitchen, and the tastings were even more exciting.
Furthermore, as a vegetarian, the wait staff was very accommodating to my requests.
I loved the room. Spacious and bright, with a large corner sofa and a very comfortable double bed. The bathroom is equally impressive!
The spa is wonderful, and I've already promised the hotel owner that I'll return with friends to wow them and relax deeply.
Don't miss the herbal sauna and the beautiful hot tub, probably the largest I've seen so far.
The hotel also has an amazing gym, with an incredible amount of equipment.
I'll definitely want to return to enjoy the beautiful outdoor pool, which I couldn't appreciate during the cold weekend except for the beautiful setting it offers with its monumental references.

My stay at the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten at the end of August was truly fantastic. The spacious spa area and the outdoor pool are a dream! The room is very modern (newly renovated). Dinner was first-class and the breakfast buffet huge; the staff were always helpful and very friendly. I will definitely come back!

On our way to Tuscany, we made a spontaneous stop in the Vinschgau valley and discovered this beautiful place. The morning panorama is truly breathtaking. The service and staff were very professional and friendly. My wife took advantage of the extensive wellness program, while I worked out (with an Aperol Spritz). The food was also truly excellent and varied every evening. We are very happy to have discovered this little paradise and are considering replacing our passing through with a longer stay next time.

We spent a long weekend at this beautifully situated hotel in the lovely Vinschgau Valley, which had just reopened after extensive renovations. Our spacious and comfortable room featured a modern and well-appointed bathroom and a large balcony offering magnificent mountain views.
In addition to the generous breakfast buffet, we were particularly impressed by the delicious, multi-course dinner menu, which was always prepared with great creativity and attention to detail.
The expansive wellness area deserves special mention; it leaves nothing to be desired. From the sauna and private spa to the fitness studio and beauty treatment area, we tried everything and were absolutely delighted.
The highlight for us was the treatments at FIGUR IN FORM, whose treatment rooms are also located in the hotel's wellness area. The exceptional treatment concepts with their quickly visible results, the wonderful atmosphere during the treatments, and the friendly and attentive service truly impressed us.
And last but not least, the very friendly and always helpful staff throughout the hotel contributed to a wonderful and unforgettable stay.
We will definitely come back and are already looking forward to our next visit!

My husband and I spent a wonderful and, above all, very relaxing five days at the new Hotel Vierjahreszeiten.
We had a very nice, modern room with plenty of space. A very spacious, modern bathroom and a very large balcony where you can end the evening with a glass of wine.
The food was excellent (a rich breakfast buffet, afternoon snack, and an excellent 8-course dinner with a very well-selected wine).
As a special for the opening week, we received a free treatment. We made extensive use of the spacious wellness area despite the bad weather. For a romantic evening, we rented the private sauna, which was an experience in itself.
The Hotel Vierjahreszeiten is in a very good location, just a few minutes from the pedestrian zone of Silandro. When the weather is nice, the many hiking trails are ideal. The Vinschgau Railway takes you to Merano or Bolzano relatively quickly.
Conclusion:
This was the most beautiful and relaxing short break we've had in a long time, and we'd definitely like to repeat it.

The Vierjahreszeiten in Schlanders reopened under new management a week ago after an extensive renovation.
My girlfriend, dog, and I received a warm welcome and were perfectly looked after during our four days at the hotel! Booking in advance was absolutely problem-free and confirmed promptly, even though the hotel was still undergoing renovations at the time.
The rooms are a dream; the bathrooms, beds, and floors are all brand new and of the highest quality! There is fast and easy Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. The cuisine is top-notch and, along with the very friendly barman, made every evening a great pleasure for us.
The Vinschgau Valley is known for its landscape and hiking and cycling opportunities. On the day with slightly less favorable weather, we enjoyed the completely new and spacious wellness area (various pools, steam baths, and saunas) and had wonderful beauty and health treatments (one of which was free from the hotel as a token of appreciation for our patience during the opening week – after such an effort/reboot, everything was running almost perfectly).
We look forward to our next visit!

The hotel reopened on March 15th. It was renovated with class and style. Very professional service, I immediately felt very comfortable. After a very friendly greeting at reception, I was escorted to my room, which is beautifully decorated. I've never seen such beautiful Corian bathrooms. The kitchen leaves nothing to be desired. The wellness area also has many new features. The beauty treatments are unique. I would gladly let myself be pampered again. I highly recommend the hotel.
