At an altitude of 1,900 metres, at the foot of the Ortler and amidst the imposing mountain scenery of the Stilfserjoch National Park, DIE POST am Ortler ****S combines time-honoured hospitality with a modern alpine living experience. Since December 2025, the hotel has been fully refurbished and is now even more spacious. A total of 73 rooms and suites, including 20 new luxury suites, offer plenty of space for a relaxing holiday in Sulden – for couples, wellness enthusiasts, active holidaymakers and families.
In the new Ortles Spa³, around 2,000 m² are dedicated entirely to tranquillity and regeneration. A variety of saunas, spacious relaxation areas and soothing spa treatments invite you to unwind. A particular highlight is the 32-metre-long indoor and outdoor pool with views of the Sulden mountain landscape. In the outdoor area, covering around 2,200 m², guests can also enjoy a mountain lake, sunbathing lawns and plenty of space to relax. Families have their own Family.Spa with an indoor pool, a sauna and a slide.
Alongside the modern rooms, the 20 new luxury suites are among the hotel’s standout features. Depending on the category, a private hot tub or a private sauna ensures personalised moments of wellness. Culinary delights are provided throughout the day as part of the POST.Verwöhnpension package: with a varied breakfast, selected lunch dishes, an afternoon snack and a multi-course gourmet menu in the evening. The restaurant, traditional dining rooms, as well as the bar and lounge, create the perfect setting for enjoyable and relaxing moments.
The mountain world of Sulden begins right on the hotel’s doorstep. In summer, hiking trails, mountain tours and summit routes wind through the Ortler region, whilst in winter the nearby Sulden ski area beckons visitors onto the slopes. The valley station is easily accessible, and the free ski bus stops right outside the hotel. Families will also find plenty to keep them entertained: alongside the Family.Spa, the Kinder.Club, Gaming.Room and various other activities ensure enjoyable family holidays and age-appropriate entertainment.

We would like to kindly point out that our Zebru rooms do not correspond exactly to the room picture in the offer. They are individually and warmly furnished and are located on different floors. Not all of them have a balcony and a mountain view.
