Delicious food, super friendly and helpful staff, fantastic views, a lovely outdoor pool, plenty of hot tubs, a fully equipped sauna, and with free public transport nearby, it's easy to get to Merano or even Bolzano. The hotel also organizes lovely hiking trails. The wine list is entirely local, and they offer excellent wine and food pairing recommendations. The hotel is not overly large, which creates a pleasant sense of intimacy. In short: relaxation in every way!

Dear Golserhof family!
Thank you so much for a wonderful and relaxing vacation! The parking garage beautifully reads "Hello vacation, goodbye worries," and that's exactly what we've been able to experience over the past 10 days. A beautiful hotel, small, fine, and special. It smells lovely everywhere, and the ambiance is wonderful. We were warmly welcomed and looked after every day by all the staff. From reception, to the service, to the housekeeping, to the bar in the spa area: everyone always made an effort to ensure we were well and enjoyed our time with you. Great tips and suggestions for excursions, delicious drinks, etc., and help with every question. We were superbly pampered with culinary delights: a fantastic breakfast, regional products, and in the evenings, consistently delicious, exquisite menus. We had booked breakfast and were able to decide every day at breakfast whether we wanted to eat at the hotel in the evening or not. This was simply incredibly uncomplicated for us as a family with two teenagers. Speaking of teens: our children were absolutely thrilled with the spa offerings for teens. A special thank you to Vittoria for the fantastic treatments and advice. The spa area is wonderful, the pool with a magnificent view. Here, we were able to enjoy peace and quiet and unwind at any time. For us, the Golserhof was an ideal location for exploring South Tyrol. The location is fantastic. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet and felt completely at home. A big thank you to Ms. Gufler, Mr. Mair, and all your staff for creating such a wonderful place with your work. We will definitely be back!

This hotel is simply sensational and unparalleled!
You receive a very friendly and personal welcome, as if you were already a regular guest. It's run with love and dedication; you're immediately welcomed, true to the motto: "Hello vacation,...goodbye worries" (it says something like that on a parking garage door), and that's exactly how it is.
We travel often, but we've never experienced such service, such as such kind, friendly, and accommodating staff – honest, warm, and not fake. Chapeau! There's a great atmosphere in this hotel; if you don't feel comfortable here, it's only your own fault. The owners, Hiltrud and Patrick, are always there and have time for conversations, stories, easy small talk, tips, and a listening ear. The same goes for the entire staff. It's simply a family that welcomes you as a guest. Also worthy of praise is the perfect organization in all areas, such as the room cleaning while you enjoy breakfast. Even with questions before arrival and after departure, you always receive a quick response and the requested information. Not to mention the food, which is incredibly delicious, varied, and of very, very high quality.
What we particularly noticed and enjoyed was the absolute peace and quiet during dinner on the outdoor terrace. The rooms are also very high-quality and functionally equipped. Considering that we aren't typical "mountain vacationers," we initially had some reservations, but we enjoyed this week to the fullest. The wellness area is spacious, and Renate's infusions are a particular highlight.
We could go on and on, but at this point we would simply like to say "THANK YOU," dear Golserhof team, for this wonderful stay at your hotel, and we look forward to seeing you again.

Ideal starting point for great hikes and other activities.
Excellent food with very friendly and competent service from the entire team and owners.
There is no such thing as “can’t be done”!!
Requests or intolerances are dealt with and taken into account immediately.
The various buffet evenings cannot be beaten and are delicious.
Also worth mentioning are the great rooms, the fantastic outdoor pool, the well-designed wellness area and the roof terrace with a view of the mountains.

The hosts Hiltrud and Patrick lovingly and professionally run the wonderfully located Hotel Golserhof.
The food was exceptionally excellent, and due to the personal service at the table, in front of a wonderful mountain panorama on the covered terrace, I had the feeling of sitting in a star restaurant.
I was very grateful for the wide range of services: guided hikes with Thommy, e-bike rental, sauna infusions, tips for planning excursions and much more. I loved being driven by Thommy in the Golserhof VW bus through the countryside to the starting point of the hike.
The options for diversion in the hotel were also varied; for me the library was a highlight.
My personal thanks also go to all the great employees, without whom my vacation would not have been so great.

The Golserhof is an absolutely fantastic hotel that impresses in every respect. The entire complex is not only beautifully designed, but also extremely well maintained and clean. The staff is consistently friendly and accommodating, with the waiter in the kitchen in particular standing out as he always put a smile on our faces with his charming way of pronouncing Nesquik.
The hotel's culinary offerings are at the highest level. Each dish was not only attractively prepared, but also tasted excellent. We were particularly impressed by the sauna area: it is spacious, comfortable and invites you to relax.
However, there are also small weaknesses. The afternoon snack, which was offered daily, was unfortunately not very varied. After staying for six days, one would have liked more variety here, as the repeated offerings felt a bit tiring. The outdoor pool is a bit small in relation to the size of the hotel, but that wasn't a problem.
Overall, the Golserhof is still a wonderful hotel that I would happily recommend despite small drawbacks.

The evening menus are varied and are rounded off with friendly service.

The junior suite was a dream, beautiful large balcony with a relaxation lounger and a view of the mountains, indescribable at sunrise! The Golserhof is a family-run hotel with excellent service in all areas and a lot of heart. The host family and the entire team are extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful. The hotel scores points for us with its good location, beautiful modern furnishings, very good food, a beautiful wellness area and high level of cleanliness.
Location & surroundings:
The Golserhof in Dorf Tirol is located on a slope above Meran, so you have a great view of the valley and towards Meran. You can walk to the “town center” in about 10-15 minutes. There are cafes, restaurants and a beautiful beer garden with a view of Tyrol Castle. From the different bus stops you can reach e.g. B. to Meran or to mountain railways or to hiking starting points. It was great for us because we could always leave the car parked. You can also easily reach Merano on foot via various routes, for example: B. used the Tappeinerweg. Since the hotel is located on a slope/mountain, you can go up or down at any time. But we were aware of this beforehand and so it wasn't a problem.
Room:
Our room (comfort suite) was very large and spacious with a separate living room and bedroom as well as a walk-in closet, a large terrace with seating and lounge furniture and a large shower room and a toilet bathroom. The room met our taste and was modern and very clean. We felt very comfortable and at home.
Service:
The service throughout the entire hotel is excellent. No matter whether at the reception, in service or in housekeeping. Everyone always has a smile on their face, is friendly, courteous and helpful. The two bosses in particular always took a lot of time for the guests. Not only were we able to get great hiking and cycling tips from both of them at reception, but we were also able to talk about our day over dinner and get new recommendations. The whole atmosphere seems very familiar and friendly. You get the feeling that everyone enjoys working together as a team and harmoniously.
Gastronomy:
The food, especially in the evening, is of a high standard and of very good quality. This is certainly not a given for HP, but we really liked it. Big compliment to the kitchen.
In addition to a salad buffet (e.g. also an antipasti buffet on theme evenings), you can choose between various starters, main courses and desserts as well as a cheese buffet. And if it tastes particularly good, you can also choose a little more. The wine selection is of course regional and here too we were always happy to rely on the manager's recommendations.
You have the same table for the entire stay, both at dinner and at breakfast. We found that very pleasant. When the weather is good, there is of course also the option to sit outside on the beautiful terrace.
Leisure activities:
The hotel has a great location, you can start some hikes directly from the hotel or take the bus, for example. B. drive to Meran or hiking starting points.
In the hotel itself there is a fitness room, a small indoor and a small outdoor pool. Various hikes with a hiking guide are also offered. We really enjoyed the hike we took part in and had a lot of fun - thanks Thommy.
The wellness area has a steam bath, an infrared sauna, a Finnish sauna and a 60 sauna as well as a whirlpool and a plunge pool. Approximately three times a week there is an infusion and a peeling in the steam bath. The entire wellness area is new and very clean with nice loungers.
Particularly noteworthy is the large roof terrace with numerous hot whirlpools and magnificent four-poster beds. Here we were able to enjoy a lovely time in the South Tyrolean sun.

From the first second you felt comfortable in this hotel. Although this is a “luxury vacation,” the host family and the entire team are anything but “pretentious.” On the contrary, the tone with the guests and with each other is relaxed, familiar and, above all, appreciative!
We would particularly like to highlight the very tasteful furnishings. One decorative highlight chases the other. Ideally, you would like to try out a different seating option every evening. You can clearly see passion and attention to detail here.
The rooms are super modern, quiet and clean.

If you just want to relax and unwind for a few days, the Golserhof is perfect for you. Here every wish is fulfilled.
You'll feel like you're sleeping on clouds in the beautiful, modern and spacious rooms.
The generous, regional and extensive breakfast is the perfect start to the day.
If the weather is bad, go to reception and book a treatment appointment at the spa. The professional staff pamper the soul and bring peace to the body. Then straight into the beautiful, well-kept and modern wellness area and simply do nothing.
If the weather is good, there are e-bikes for rent in front of the hotel or you can simply walk up to the village, from where you can hike in all directions. By the way: if you didn't bring everything from home with you for hiking, no problem, you can rent almost everything that corresponds to the standard equipment at the reception.
And then feel free to stay in the hotel for dinner and let the chef pamper you. Here you eat really fresh, regional and traditional food.
No matter where you are in the hotel, you will always meet trained, friendly and professional staff who are always helpful and always up for a joke.

We have been coming to the Golserhof as a family of 6 with a dog for many years and we always look forward to genuine hospitality, warmth and a holiday home that is perfect for us!
Room is huge and modern without losing its coziness. Sauna, swimming pool are great. The evening meal was a real pleasure.
The first priority is definitely the people behind it, Hiltrud and Patrick as hosts are always present and the many hard-working employees have been the same for years and look forward to every friendly contact and every reunion!
We always book straight away again on site and are already looking forward to the next time.

A beautiful hotel with a spectacular view. You feel immediately welcome from the very first moment; everyone at the hotel is extremely friendly. The hotel bar also caters to all your needs; special thanks go to the bartender Zsolt for two wonderful evenings at the bar. The food is also sensationally good. The 1400 Deluxe Suite is very nice, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, and, as a highlight, a private whirlpool on the terrace. Wellness massage: massage was fantastic, wellness area was nice, unfortunately textile-free, so we couldn't use it. (because of our religion)
Food: 1st class, very, very tasty, we actually already had a set menu, but we were allowed to order something from the menu, which I thought was great.

It was my husband's birthday and he got a nice present from the family, and we have also been receiving regular mail from the hotel for the past 3 years, which I really appreciate.
The location is simply fantastic!

The Vitalpina apartment is beautiful, spotlessly clean, and comfortable. The only flaw is the practically nonexistent pillows, which are too thin. Discreet luxury with an individual touch: This is how we would describe the Hotel Golserhof.
Hiltrud Gufler and Patrick Mair, the young and committed hosts, together with their motivated employees, ensured that we were able to unwind for a week. We love al fresco dining, so we enjoyed every meal on the beautiful panoramic terrace. By the way, the terrace has an electric slatted roof that closes when it rains - brilliant!
The quality of the food was absolutely first class, even for spoiled palates, and the service was professional and friendly.
Matching: the extensive but moderately priced wine list, and the very good advice from Hiltrud.
The professional hygiene concept deserves special mention and how consistently it is implemented!
What else we liked:
The wonderful infinity pool with panoramic views,
the rooftop terrace with the whirlpools and the four-poster beds,
our beautiful junior suite,
the super-nice young woman from room service,
the free parking spaces in the underground car park,
forest bathing with Maggie,
the quiet location outside the town,
and that contrary to the forecast of the weather report, it didn't rain constantly.
Our conclusion: No wish remains unfulfilled at the Golserhof, and we would be happy to come back!

Our stay at the Golserhof brought us peace and relaxation. The hotel is not too big, beautifully located in the hills of Dorf Tirol with a view of Meran. We felt at home from the first second, the owner family and the team are very courteous, warm and hospitable.
The spa area is spacious and has an infrared sauna, a steam bath, a sauna and a bio sauna, as well as whirlpools on the roof with a view of the distance and nature.
If possible, you eat on the outside terrace with a white fabric tablecloth. The breakfast buffet contains a large selection of local breads including organic, ancient grains, etc., homemade jams, cold cuts, cheese, all kinds of grains and muesli, yogurt, various types of milk, freshly prepared omelettes, scrambled eggs, etc., local cheeses and (very good) coffee.
In the evenings, multi-course menus including a vitality option are served, from a South Tyrolean evening to a gala dinner. Everything is freshly prepared, homemade and with local products from the salad buffet (including Schüttebrot) to the dessert and the cheese buffet. The drinks prices are very fair, the selection of wines is excellent and there are numerous alternatives without alcohol.
When choosing a room, we recommend the newly renovated attic rooms and suites with their own whirlpool on the terrace for those who enjoy contemporary architecture. If you prefer something more traditional, we recommend the slightly older retro rooms.

The food is very, very good! Gourmet cuisine, really. There are fantastic options in the surrounding area! Hiking, golfing, shopping, e-biking, and much more. The staff is also super friendly and always happy to chat. I recommend going there with a partner rather than as a couple. It might be a little too small for children and teenagers to develop their enthusiasm. But that's partly an advantage, as it's very private and small. Perfect for a wonderful vacation for two with an unbeatable view! Have fun, I hope I was able to help.

Really an incredibly beautiful hotel! I couldn't have asked for a nicer stay. We were allowed to go to our room earlier and also spend the day of departure in the hotel. Everything is super clean, the pool area and roof terrace are simply indescribably beautiful and the staff are consistently friendly and accommodating. You really feel comfortable straight away. The food on the terrace was very tasty and the breakfast in the sun couldn't have been better. The hotel really offers everything you need for relaxing days in the mountains! Equipped with an outdoor swimming pool (accessible only during the summer) and an indoor one with hydromassage, the wellness center immediately presents itself as a welcoming environment where you can enjoy a bit of peace and serenity. Relaxation is also guaranteed inside the spa: small, simple, but complete.
Equipped with a Turkish bath, two saunas and an infrared sauna. In the external part there is also a small terrace with an exclusive hydromassage tub. There is no shortage of relaxation rooms with sunbeds, mattresses and towels. Well-stocked herbal tea point.
The gym is very well equipped.
The Junior Suite is truly special, spacious, new, well heated and very quiet.
A mention goes to the general cleanliness: everything perfect.
Highly recommended, we can't wait to go back!

One disadvantage at the moment: There is a construction site in front of the farm - if you spend the whole day in the hotel it is very annoying (very loud) - Noise from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. - Before and after, the silence of the Alps!
Due to the construction site we got a room update - perfect - pure sunshine in the morning!
Conclusion: As soon as the construction site is gone --> fantastic hotel!

It was very nice! We were at the Golserhof in December. Unfortunately the outdoor pool is closed in winter, but we already knew that. The breakfast buffet was very good and nothing was missing. Very friendly service in the restaurant. The Suite 1400 Deluxe was great! Great interior design! However, we didn't find a coffee machine or tea maker with teas anywhere in the suite. It was also a shame that the sauna area including the relaxation room was not open in the morning. But perhaps this will be different at another time. What is highly recommended are the massages! Just great! We had a great time and the hosts and their staff are very friendly! The location is great and the view is simply wonderful! I would love to come back again in the summer to be able to use everything. Warm greetings from Switzerland!

It's so beautiful here, you won't want to leave.
The Golserhof is owner-managed. We've been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. The wellness offerings and the wellness area are very good. If you want to go hiking, this is also the place for you. But if you prefer to laze around, you can spend a relaxing day by the pool. There are large loungers on a wonderful wooden deck. And when it rains, you can go to the indoor pool, the various saunas, or treat yourself to a massage or treat yourself at the bar.
The location is also fantastic. You can see the entire valley, beyond Merano, almost all the way to Bolzano. The owners and staff give good tips for excursions and other activities.
The cuisine is excellent (the menu doesn't repeat itself in two weeks), and the cheese buffet once a week is legendary. Up to 50 different cheeses are served with personalized service and explanations from the chef.
The wines are exquisitely selected and highly recommended (and at reasonable prices).
I have to stop now, otherwise I'll start raving.
