Health and well-being are of great importance in the Hotel Granbaita Dolomites. You will look forward to an indoor and outdoor pool (30 °C), a new sauna area with Finnish sauna, stone pine sauna, hay sauna, classic steam bath, aromatic steam bath, panoramic sauna with infusions, snow shower and whirlpool. A fitness room with Technogym equipment is available too. In the Savinela Spa, you can enjoy soothing massages and treatments.
Granbaita Cuisine
The guests can enjoy a rich breakfast buffet in the morning as well as an antipasti buffet and a 5-course menu or 4-course vital menu in the evening. For the preparation of the traditional, Mediterranean and international delicacies, fresh and regional quality products are given major significance. The Bar & Lounge Granbaita is ideal for a refreshing aperitif, a cup of coffee or a good glass of wine in good company.
Winter & summer holidays
The valley of Gröden is an exclusive paradise for winter sports. Gröden ski area, Seiser Alm or the famous Sellaronda make all skiers’ hearts beat faster. A free shuttle bus will take you directly to the lifts and the ski passes can be bought at the hotel reception. In summer, Gröden becomes a dreamlike hiking and MTB territory. The whole year round, you can participate in different leisure activities.

The atmosphere throughout the hotel is relaxed and casual, so you can properly unwind after a day on the mountain. Staff are friendly and always make us feel genuinely welcome, from reception to the restaurant and bar, and that warmth really adds to the overall experience. Gran Baita is the place we keep coming back to, and it’s the first hotel we recommend to friends planning a trip to the Dolomites.

+We attended the day spa as non-residents and had one treatment (back massage). All staff were very welcoming, relaxed, and made me feel special. The spa is spacious, with lots of different facilities, with several jacuzzis and a good sized pool that extends outside via push-button controlled glass doors. To be able to swim in the outside pool in January and reach out and touch the snow from the spa is very special. Valentina gave me a wonderful back massage with hot oil, she was just perfect, she’s tall but of slender build so I was extremely pleasantly surprised to discover she was so strong and gave me such a wonderful back massage. Thoroughly recommended after a morning’s skiing, and excellent value for the choice of facilities and the perfect service and lovely welcome I was given.

+Pros : location, super friendly and professional staff at the restaurant and reception , clean rooms with great amenities
Cons : standard rooms way to small, restaurant cuisine with fine dining ambitions but the meals lack taste and presentation… I strongly recommend to ditch this approach and switch to home made Italian meals like good pasta & pizza
Verdict : not the greatest value for this money

+For four years, I've been staying at this beautiful hotel in the winter, and I've also been here in the summer. In both seasons, I've had a wonderful time, thanks to the excellent location, the services, the stunning views, the comfortable rooms, the excellent food, and the wide variety of choices for breakfast and dinner.
The spa offers ample space for total relaxation and privacy, and a menu of very pleasant treatments!

+We stayed at the Gran Baite last year during the Christmas holidays, including celebrating New Year's Eve at the hotel, and it was a simply wonderful experience.
It's a historic hotel, with stunning architecture that immediately exudes charm and warmth. The rooms are beautiful, meticulously designed, and truly comfortable.
The spa is wonderful, perfect for relaxing after a day on the snow, while the ski rental service was incredibly efficient and convenient.
The restaurant also gave us great satisfaction: the cuisine is top-notch, and the hotel also features a gourmet restaurant open to guests, a testament to its sophisticated and high-quality cuisine.
The bar offers a wide selection of wines, and every evening the atmosphere was made even more pleasant by the piano bar, a detail that truly makes all the difference.
Once again, a truly enjoyable holiday in every way. Highly recommended hotel.
