Our first stay at the Hotel Bergschlössel was in a suite with a sauna and whirlpool. We were very impressed with everything. The outdoor facilities are top-notch, the service was great, the hosts were very helpful and friendly. We arrived Friday afternoon and stayed until Sunday. Half board included breakfast and a 5-course menu. The food was top-notch, 5 stars ️ if you don’t like or don’t want something you can say so, there are alternatives. The singing on Friday evening was very nice even though we only stayed in the room, we enjoyed it. We didn’t try out the wellness area. There was a small problem in the room, but we reported it when we left. It’s not your fault, though. The pillows and the sliding door to the bedroom were broken. Didn’t bother us personally. Nor did the fact that the cleaning lady wasn’t so careful with the dust on the lamps and that there was sticky residue in the whirlpool. Since we were inside, she had to give it a good clean. We would really appreciate a few coat hooks or a coat rack where we could hang up jackets; we missed that. We had a very relaxing weekend together and look forward to seeing you again. This was our first time in South Tyrol and we chose this hotel. Our stay was very pleasant and relaxing. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and varied. The wellness area, especially the sauna area, is spacious for a hotel that isn't a wellness hotel. It seems as if the entire concept is geared towards families, but since we were there in the off-season, there were no children in the hotel. I think it's probably busier in summer/winter, so couples without children would recommend staying after the season. Pets are also allowed; there were several dogs in the hotel. The location is secluded next to a small village. There are hardly any alternatives, such as bars or restaurants, in the area. You also have to use the car or bus for hikes - but you can reach the surrounding hotspots within 1-2 hours. In the off-season, it's a true oasis of peace that can be enjoyed even as a childless couple.

Beautiful hotel and a perfect base for long hikes. Parking is available right on site. Friendly staff and lovingly furnished rooms. Excellent cuisine from breakfast to dinner. A lovely wellness area with everything you need to relax after a mountain hike. We felt at home.

A very beautiful family-run hotel, surrounded by nature. The ranch concept and the afternoon children's feeding sessions are a lovely touch. There's a large outdoor space for enjoying the fresh air. There's a playroom for children, as well as for adults who want to spend the evening having fun. Live music. Friendly and helpful staff.

The Bergschlössl is a very special place, full of warmth and enjoyment! The atmosphere is intimate, loving, and incredibly cozy. I first noticed it through @anastasiaskitchenlife, and my expectations were even exceeded. The passion, creativity, and feeling with which the cooking here is cooked can be tasted in every course. The dishes are not only delicious, but also presented with great attention to detail. Thank you for this wonderful retreat, I will definitely be back!

Our stay at the Hotel Bergschlössl was simply extraordinary. This lovingly run family hotel exceeds all expectations and offers a thoroughly thoughtful experience.
Accommodation & Ambience: The rooms are tastefully furnished and offer impressive panoramas of the surrounding mountains. You immediately feel the warm, family-friendly atmosphere.
Activities & Entertainment: The hotel program is remarkably diverse – from rousing musical acts by the host family and external artists (from rock 'n' roll to jazz) to authentic Krampus performances to yoga and guided hikes. Particularly practical: the shuttle service to the hiking trails and even a pick-up service if you overestimate your strength ;)
Culinary: The food selection is excellent! Organic products from the region, a varied breakfast with fresh egg dishes, pancakes, and waffles. The fresh juicer with organic vegetables is a great touch. The 6-course dinner menus are a poem – from salad to soup and pasta (we are in Italy, after all!) to the exceptional desserts that change daily.
Family-friendly: Indoor and outdoor pools, a private zoo with daily animal feedings for the children – everything has been thought of here.
Sustainability: Traveling by train is easy, which is very convenient for environmentally conscious guests.
Summary: Authentic, lovingly crafted, and absolutely recommended. We will definitely be back.

We stayed at the Hinteregger family's home for a week. We had a wonderful time. The hotel is beautiful and well-organized to accommodate all types of guests, from the youngest to the oldest. What you can sense is the harmony between these wonderful children and the parents who manage all the hotel's immense work...we highly recommend this cheerful, lively, and musical place. You will be pampered both in body and soul and will feel at ease. I won't add anything else...go there and discover all the surprises! We spent an unforgettable week at this family ranch in the heart of South Tyrol, and we couldn't be more grateful for the welcome we received.
The atmosphere is that of a true home, where the concept of family is always present and deeply felt.
The activities for children are extensive and carefully designed: from animal care to nature exploration, from creative workshops to evenings around the fire. It's one of those places where children can be free, curious, and enjoy authentic experiences connected to the land and its people.
The rooms are comfortable, spotlessly clean, and tastefully furnished in simple yet welcoming Alpine style. The cuisine is excellent, authentic, and delicious. The hotel is very nice and the food is good. It's more appealing for families and those going skiing at the Plose, as the shuttle takes you right there.
The only areas for improvement are the pools and service: the water in the outdoor pool is freezing, and the indoor pool isn't very warm either, and it's still crowded with families with children. For those who want to relax, the only options are the sauna areas and relaxation rooms, with additional paid services.
We also had trouble sleeping because, unfortunately, there was no double curtain in our room, and the problem was resolved only after we asked several times, with red paper stuck on the window and a makeshift curtain. Total cost for two nights and two dinners with a few drinks was about €900. Overall, highly recommended.

This was our first time at the Bergschlössl and we can truly recommend it to everyone. The hotel is in a quiet location! We had the Dolomites Suite, which had absolutely everything your heart could desire. The breakfast was varied, the sauna area was also very nice, and we visited Mama Ulli's Family Ranch, where some truly sweet animals have found a home. We'll definitely be back.

I spent 5 days with my family in this hotel and we will never forget it!
The hotel is a castle, with all the comforts for families with children, play rooms for all tastes and all ages, but also to enjoy as a couple (thanks to the miniclub which was present from 4pm to 6pm in this period) with a huge wellness center that occupies the entire ground floor, I lost count of the saunas, on the terrace on the second floor there is a heated hydromassage tub and another relaxation room with sauna. There is a wonderful but unheated outdoor swimming pool, therefore perfect in summer or for the more adventurous even in winter.
Outside there is a huge playground and an educational farm where children can pet the animals and feed them.
The excellent restaurant offers a 6-course menu, aperitif, special salad, soup, first course and dessert (vegetarian) + second course with a choice of meat, fish or veg. Available to customize the menu also for needs or intolerances.
The hotel is run by a beautiful family, the 2 parents have 10 children! The father is passionate about music as part of the children, with whom they create concerts for guests, the mother writes children's books like one of the daughters.
In front of the hotel there is the bus stop so you don't have to take the car anymore, behind the hotel there is a ski slope (we haven't tried it but I think it's perfect for beginners, with a rental and an instructor), below the hotel is the town of Luson. Everything can be reached on foot in just a few minutes.

10 km from the Polse ski lift
15 km from Bressanone.
A magical place, which I wholeheartedly recommend.

I stayed in this wonderful hotel in August.
Child-friendly, the staff is attentive and kind, ready to accommodate every little request.
The rooms are large, and the entire hotel smells of fir.
The spa is wonderful, with various saunas and relaxation rooms, including a hay room.
We spent five wonderful days there. The cuisine was excellent, with dishes that were always original and never repetitive, and the ingredients were of the highest quality.

On New Year's Eve, we had a fantastic 8-course New Year's Eve menu.

The hotel was beautiful, perfectly located, with a stunning view.
The room was very clean and equipped with every comfort.
Traveling with a three-month-old baby and a dog, I found everything perfect, especially the crib in the room, which we hadn't requested but were kindly provided.
Breakfast and dinner were perfect and plentiful.
The family who runs the hotel was very attentive and available to meet every request and need.
They also provide a guidebook for all the excursions you can take, all easily accessible from the hotel.
Kudos to the management and the helpfulness of the entire family and hotel staff.

The restaurant is excellent and the food is exquisite. Everything was perfect, from the well-kept and spacious room with a terrace overlooking the Dolomites, to the spa area with various saunas and pools, to the cuisine with an exceptional breakfast and a dinner with simply exquisite dishes accompanied by impeccable service (especially our waiter, Facundo, who was truly kind and attentive). And last but not least, a shout-out to Andrea's Ranch located below the hotel, which is home to many fantastic animals cared for with great love and just waiting to be pampered.

We've been coming to the Bergschlössl for years, and this year, too, it was pure relaxation. The hotel offers plenty of peace and quiet and everything a wellness enthusiast could wish for, with little tourist hustle and bustle in town. If you like peace and quiet, this is the place for you.
What's special: you can truly call it a family business!
The entire Hinteregger family does everything to make your vacation as wonderful as possible!
The wellness area is fantastic, and the outdoor pool and sun terrace with whirlpool are also highlights.
It will continue to be our number one destination for the coming years and is almost like my second home.

A wonderful place for a family trip, the hotel is close to a national park where you can enjoy beautiful views of the mountains and lakes. The hotel itself has a lovely atmosphere, run by a wonderful family who do everything to make your stay enjoyable. There are two swimming pools, a spa, saunas, a gym, playrooms, and billiards. There's simply no time to be bored! And best of all, there's a small zoo with a playground for children. Everyone enjoys exploring and meeting animals like llamas, alpacas, ponies, donkeys, rabbits, goats, sheep, and even a camel. The price includes meals, a buffet breakfast, and dinner consisting of three appetizers, a main course, and dessert. In the evenings, in the lobby or at dinner, the family members showcase their musical talents and entertain us – a wonderful way to spend the evening.

The warm hospitality, the sweet ranch, the panoramic pool, and the exquisite dinner completely captivated us from check-in to departure – like everything else. Especially on our wedding day, we were warmly surprised several times by Juliane and the team. You simply feel comfortable and welcome the entire time. In a few places, you can see that the hotel is a bit dated (e.g., cracks in the walls in the room, shower). But otherwise, the hotel is highly recommended!

We've stayed at the Bergschlössl, a wonderful family-run hotel, several times before, and we'd like to share our enthusiastic experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and cared for.
The hotel not only offers an idyllic petting zoo, which our children especially loved, but also a first-class wellness area that provided the perfect balance for the whole family. We were able to relax together and enjoy the diverse wellness offerings.
The food was simply outstanding! Every meal was a true feast for the palate. The variety and quality of the dishes were impressive. The ingredients were fresh and of the highest quality.
What sets this hotel apart, however, is the personal touch and the family atmosphere that can be felt in every detail. The host family is extremely warm and dedicated, and their commitment to making our stay unforgettable left a lasting impression on us.

The Hotel Bergschlössl is a superb hotel with clean rooms and excellent food. We stayed there with the whole family in January and had excellent service and a wonderful spa area. The indoor pool was nice and warm, and our little daughter loved it. They also have all sorts of accessories for little ones, like armbands. The spa area has great saunas; I particularly liked the salt sauna and the outdoor sauna. Breakfast and dinner were very good and always nice and warm. The small farm across the street was a highlight for our little ones. From the balcony, we had a fantastic view of the mountains and the many animals. We would love to come back. All at a great price-performance ratio.

Very friendly service, nice large rooms, very nice wellness area, very good food! Both at dinner and at the very rich breakfast buffet.
In the wellness area there was a great, large selection of saunas, the massage was great.
There are even charging spaces for electric cars in the parking garage, which I actually wouldn't have expected here.
Even our dog was warmly welcomed here and felt comfortable and that's why we got a thumbs up! :-)

The owners' performance was fantastic: the daughter's brilliant voice (with guitar), the son on piano and drums, and the father on bass. Overall, we liked it, but it's a bit out of the way.

Location is good for some hikes around Lüsen, Bus from/to Brixen stops right at the door, view is a highlight . I enjoyed the wellness and pool area with different saunas and relax areas - but on my last night everything was shut off 1/2 hrs before official closing - with me still laying in the garden sauna.
Coffee is very good and breakfast totally fine, not special, but high quality. The dinner however is for an again ambitious place rather disappointing. Lots of deep-frying, in general it felt like an average buffet dressed as a fancy 5 course dinner.
Would have addressed concerns personally, but wasnt asked upon check out.

We were there as a family with two young children.
All the staff are super friendly, accommodating, and extremely child-friendly.
There's plenty on offer for children (playroom, indoor pool, outdoor pool, the ranch, etc.), as well as for adults with a wellness area and wine bar.
The food is incredibly good both in the evening and at breakfast -> everything is fresh and delicious! The lunch menu is also freshly prepared, and we think it's great that so much attention is paid to it.
The only minor drawback for us was the room, which was very noisy, and the curtains didn't provide any darkness (the kids still sleep during the day). However, the room was very spacious and always clean.
Overall, a fantastic hotel with incredibly delicious food and super friendly people -> highly recommended!

Let's go in order:
The LOCATION is really beautiful and complete with everything you need, very very nice outdoor pool, the indoor one a little dirty but nice.
Beautiful and well-kept rooms with a beautiful philosophy of sustainability relating to all aspects: the refrigerator on request to avoid waste, absence of air conditioning because it is not necessary, etc.
Bed unsuitable for a 4-star facility.
Really really uncomfortable, non-existent cushions and after a week of walking in the mountains, you come back more sore than before.
SERVICES sufficient accessories for every need, both for the young couple and for the family with children.
Complete spa with excellent massage service, unfortunately the saunas are for nudists, a limit that could be overcome as there is already an exclusive area for lovers of the naturist philosophy.
RESTAURANT, the real flaw of our experience.
The dishes were good and for €20/day the dinner was really complete and very good.
The problem is the service, totally absent and disorganized.
The staff has always been very courteous and helpful, but absolutely disorganized.
Out of 5 dinners, 4 were ordeals.
Dishes not brought or exchanged with other tables, crazy waiting times (half an hour between one dish and another, 3 hours for a dinner, etc.) prompts to receive the dishes, out of 5 evenings only 2 times they asked if we wanted extra drinks, the other evenings no, etc.
Every evening truly, an odyssey.
I repeat, the staff has always been very courteous and helpful, but disorganized at best.
There would be potential to make the experience truly spectacular, the location deserves better service for the restaurant.
For the rest, the Green philosophy of the structure and the willingness to accept our four-legged friend are to be praised.

We really enjoyed the Hotel Bergschlössl and highly recommend it for a mountain holiday with children! We stayed there for four nights and would have loved to stay longer. We particularly appreciated the very friendly and always helpful host family, along with the excellent service, including shuttle rides and activities for children, as well as the fantastic location and infrastructure.
The sauna and pool area, the children's wing, the restaurant, and the zoo leave nothing to be desired. I would only make minor reservations about the rooms, which are cozy and functional, but a bit more modest compared to the rest of the hotel's amenities.
Everyone, parents and children alike, thought the breakfast and the daily 5-course dinner menu were excellent. The ingredients were always very fresh and the dishes beautifully prepared. The service in the restaurant was also very attentive and flexible (especially with regard to the children's wishes).
The location is very beautiful, with several fantastic and very diverse hiking areas within easy reach. Lüsen is situated between the slopes and the valley and is very beautiful. Our daughters fell in love with the animals at the zoo. We'll definitely be back!

The hotel is located in a beautiful spot a 10-minute walk from the village, with a wonderful view and a large area with a playground, comfortable benches for relaxing, and a fenced-in area with donkeys, bunnies, alpacas, sheep, and chickens, etc., great for the kids Our room was nice and large, with a whirlpool and sauna, and very clean (unfortunately, the minibar wasn't stocked; you would have had to specifically request that at reception, and the mattress and pillows were a bit uncomfortable. Unfortunately, they were two separate mattresses, which wasn't so comfortable with the hole in them, so cuddling wasn't possible haha )...
The pools were very pleasant; the outdoor pool was still a bit cold, but the indoor pool and the jacuzzi on the roof terrace were wonderful
What impressed me most, and why I'm giving it 5 stars, is that they specially prepared a vegan 5-course menu for us. No other hotel has done that before, and I've been to many hotels, a huge plus in any case. The breakfast was also very good, very filling

When purchasing a tea tin for €12, a label with the herbs' contents was only provided upon request.
When paying, we were charged €4 for spring water, which we could fill ourselves, but this was neither stated in the booking confirmation nor was it shown or mentioned to us upon arrival!
The manager of the hotel has a very peculiar sense of humor, which is inappropriate for a 4-star hotel to show its guests.
The bill was printed on a white sheet of paper without any letterhead or anything similar, and it didn't even show the sender or the taxes!
Not recommended for booking with breakfast only, as the hotel is very remote and there are virtually no places to eat in town. Only one pizzeria, which is a complete disaster!

A wonderful place for hiking and relaxing.
Skiing is possible on the Plose, about 25 minutes away. A small slope behind the hotel is suitable for beginners and children.
The hotel is family-run, very friendly, very attentive, and no wish goes unfulfilled. The breakfast buffet is a delicacy, including freshly squeezed orange juice. The 6-course dinner menu was equally excellent.
Overall, a wonderful weekend; we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Having been there several times, I was absolutely satisfied again this year.
The hotel is carefully transforming and continuing to develop positively! A reliable constant over the years has been the courteous and engaging nature of the Hinteregger family, who strive to fulfill every wish – quickly and uncomplicatedly, but always friendly!
The relaxation factor is particularly high in the off-season, as despite fewer guests, there are no noticeable compromises in service, entertainment, or food.
The only thing I missed was the salad and cheese buffet in the evening, but that's really complaining at the highest level.
Overall, we were able to make the most of our time to relax.
The scenery couldn't be better unless you're looking for the ski slope right outside the hotel. The Lüsen Valley has consciously opted for sustainable tourism and offers EVERYTHING your heart desires.
And of course we'll be back next year!

What sets this hotel apart is its authenticity. The 4-star standard and sustainability are in the background, along with the excellent food, fantastic spa area with indoor and separate outdoor pools, a water play area, and so on. But what's truly special is that a family runs the place, each with their own unique personality, giving the hotel a truly individual touch. While many other hoteliers retreat to increasingly similar facilities and interchangeable amenities, here (apparently over years of growth and expansion of the family) a unique gem has emerged. The building, with its extensions, courtyard, garden, and various other areas, is wonderfully labyrinthine and multifaceted, just as one imagines an old castle. Paintings adorn the walls, musical instruments are scattered about (and actively used), and beautiful views of the valley or the Peitler mountain surprise guests. The furnishings are high-quality, not uniformly modern, and the blend of traditional and vibrant colors creates a harmonious whole. The beds and bathrooms are top-notch; In the evenings, you can sit very comfortably in the bar area, and if you're lucky, the owner will pick up his bass and accompany one of his daughters singing blues, folk, and rock. It's more than just a hotel; it's more creative than usual. I felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.

I stayed at this hotel for a week. The atmosphere is very familiar, welcoming, and warm, as well as very elegant. The staff is mostly made up of the same family, and they are very kind and helpful. I have a disability, so I asked if it would be possible to have breakfast in my room, and they accommodated my request without any problem. Breakfast is incredibly generous, and that's not even mentioning dinner, with always a variety of excellent dishes and so plentiful that sometimes we had to skip dessert. The nudist wellness area, obviously separate from the children's area, is very nice and warm, and has everything you need. There's also a rooftop terrace where you can sunbathe naked, and a whirlpool. I'd like to extend a huge thank you to all the staff, especially Ulrike (the owner), Juljane, Max, and Andreia, a very good and friendly masseuse whom I highly recommend. Of course, I'd also like to thank the others, but I don't remember their names. I highly recommend this hotel, which deserves more than 4 stars, and I can't wait to return. We spent the first week of our annual vacation here with great enjoyment and a high level of quality. Since we had two large Great Danes with us, we were given an extremely spacious room with a lovely, sunny balcony. The view of Lüsen, the valley, and the mountains is magnificent. The location of the Hotel Bergschlössel offers the best starting point for hikes to the Lüsener Alm and the Peitlerkofel. Therefore, it can only receive full marks for this criterion. The service is equally unbeatable: friendly, attentive, prompt, and competent. We received excellent answers to all our questions. We were also completely satisfied with the kitchen's work.
The breakfast left nothing to be desired. Of course, anyone who needs fried sausages, meatballs, and the like in the morning can complain. We were satisfied with the freshly prepared egg dishes, fried eggs, boiled eggs, and huge platters of cold cuts, accompanied by fresh organic bread and rolls. The evening's six-course menu with a choice of three main courses was the final highlight of the day. I absolutely have to mention the cozy and expansive wellness area in the basement, with its open-air area and plunge pool. It's truly amazing! And at least six saunas are in constant operation... There's also an indoor swimming pool and an outdoor one for the tough kids. By the way: Although not relevant to us, it's certainly important for families with small children: There's not only a huge playground and outdoor fitness equipment, but also a petting zoo with sheep, alpacas, donkeys, and rabbits! Massages are also available, and so on. Conclusion: 100% recommended! We'd love to come back!

This beautiful, family-run hotel in Luson (15 km from Bressanone) is surrounded by greenery. The rooms are spacious and clean, and there's a spa with a pool, saunas, jacuzzi, etc., an outdoor pool, a fitness room, a yoga studio, and a play area for both adults and children. Various musical instruments are scattered throughout the hotel, and small concerts are held on some evenings. Breakfast is included, and it's a buffet with a wide selection to suit all tastes. Dinner is also available for €35 per person, with a choice of three main courses; the chef selects the first courses and dessert. We dined at the hotel twice and were very satisfied with both the quality and originality of the dishes. My only complaint is that I never chose a main course (because four courses were enough for me in the evening), and the price was always €35. The staff is very kind, friendly, and helpful.

We've been coming to the Bergschlössl for years, and this year was no exception – pure relaxation. The hotel offers a great deal of peace and quiet, everything a wellness enthusiast could wish for, and there's very little tourist hustle and bustle in the village. If you're looking for tranquility, this is the perfect place.
What's special is that this is truly a family-run business! If needed, the owner will even bring breakfast to your room herself (for example, if your back is giving you trouble ).
The entire Hinteregger family does everything they can to make your holiday as wonderful as possible!
The spa area is fantastic, and the outdoor pool and sun terrace with its whirlpool are real highlights.
This will be our number one destination for years to come and is practically my second home!

My husband and I spent a wonderful week in this haven of peace and tranquility. The hotel isn't exactly small, yet you feel like you're being welcomed into the family because all the staff are extremely kind and helpful. The property is very warm and welcoming, the room comfortable with a beautiful window and balcony overlooking the mountains. The food is so good every night, you won't notice the difference from New Year's Eve dinner. Breakfast is incredible, full of every good thing, with fresh, local products and equipped with equipment to make freshly squeezed juices or fruit and vegetable extracts. The indoor pool isn't huge, but in quieter moments, I still managed to swim a little. The saunas are lovely, perfect for relaxing after a day on the snow. The snowshoe hike organized by the hotel is lovely, and the nearby beginner ski slope is convenient (where you can also rent equipment). This hotel has it all. Highly recommended!

We stayed at the Hotel Bergschlössl for a total of four nights. Overall, we enjoyed it. The Almsuite is beautifully furnished; we didn't use the private sauna, but we did enjoy the lovely terrace. The wellness area has something for every taste. There's an indoor pool, plenty of loungers, a lovely outdoor area (although the outdoor pool was no longer usable because it was simply too cold), and a truly wonderful sauna complex. The view of Peitlerkofel from the sauna terrace is unique. The service is very friendly and willing to accommodate special dietary requests. The hotel's location is a wonderful place for hiking.
What we really disliked, however, was the way we dealt with a large group of unwelcome guests. A group of about 20 people (probably a large family) with many children behaved inappropriately. There was a lot of drinking early on, loud conversations directly above the outdoor wellness area, children literally screaming in the pool and jumping from the edge (which could unfortunately also be heard extremely loudly in the adjacent sauna area), people were playing tag in the dining room, and the mask requirement was ignored at the buffet. Loud conversations were expressed during meals. On the last evening, the pleasant atmosphere of the previous evenings was unfortunately ruined. The group made noise in the courtyard until 11 p.m., and there was a long, loud argument in the room above us. When we mentioned this the next day upon our departure, we were not exactly met with understanding. It was only one night, and if we had stayed more nights, the guests would not have been accommodated. They were Germans celebrating a family celebration in South Tyrol. Furthermore, they had also once told the children not to run around in the dining room, and that the children were not responsible for being alone in the pool. We actually expected a proper apology. In my opinion, it is the hotel's responsibility to keep such a large group in check, especially without prior complaints from other guests. If the group behaves so badly all the time, then a hotel employee has to be with the group the entire time to maintain order. Many other hotel guests were visibly disturbed by the group. It's a shame that the priority was to let the group have fun and not to make the other guests happy.

From the outside, the house appears a bit dated. But inside, it's pretty and cozy. There are rooms here that need renovation, but also some that have been completely renovated and are worthy of the castle name. Everything is very clean. A wellness area for the whole family is very nice and has something for all ages. Children are also very welcome in this castle. There's a playground, entertainment, and free play in several rooms. Now for the food: all we can say is, it's superb, varied, and from the presentation to the taste, it's a top rating.

We've been coming back for winter holidays for years now, and occasionally in the summer too. I have to say, we're still absolutely thrilled by the wonderful atmosphere created by the friendly Hinteregger family and their attention to detail. The food is wonderfully light, and the location is also a dream, with breathtaking views of the Dolomites.
I can recommend this hotel without reservation. :-)

We booked the "Lusener Alm Suite" to relax. The room is just as wonderfully and comfortably furnished as in the pictures. The sauna and whirlpool in the room are a dream. We never used the lovely pool and spa area with its stunning view...
The service was very attentive and answered all our questions and accommodated our every request. The dinner was varied and also very good.
It was our first time at the Bergschlössl, but we would love to come back soon!

A stunning valley, a fully equipped wellness center, and a must-see rooftop terrace with a thermarium and nudist hot tub. The owners' children (I think there are ten of them now) serve in the bar or at reception, and in the evenings they entertain guests with live music. The owner herself is a highly original painter. I've been here three times already, and the service has always been impeccable.

The hotel deserves its 4 stars. The dinner menu is very high quality, and it's nice that there are some children's-friendly dishes at the buffet. Breakfast could be a little more varied in terms of desserts. I would have liked to see some homemade cakes, and I recommend putting labels on the jams and juices to distinguish them. The pool is very clean and large, with the perfect temperature for relaxing. The outdoor area and park are beautiful. A two-minute walk from the ski lift, it's suitable for beginners or for children's courses. Thank you!

The food is excellent, from the amuse-bouche to the dessert. Beautifully presented, and if you want another portion, no problem. The drinks selection is extensive and good. The staff range from friendly to warm, which makes up for some service errors. The wellness area is lovingly designed, whether you relax in the hay or on a waterbed or however you like. On the roof, there's a whirlpool and sauna, and it's wonderful to sunbathe with a view of the mountains. The rooms are comfortable, as is the rest of the hotel. Information is available about what's going on during the day. From here, there are many opportunities for hikes or other excursions. There's often music in the evenings; sometimes someone from the extended musical family plays, sometimes friends, or even guests. During the wellness week, you can relax wonderfully with treatments at half price.

Pleasant stay, welcoming staff. The restaurant waiters were very knowledgeable and friendly, and a special shout out to Iulian. Compliments to the chef for the exquisite dishes.
A quiet location for nature and hiking lovers, with an adjacent ski slope that's small but suitable for beginners and advanced alike.
The wellness center features five saunas and a generously sized indoor pool.
I recommend it for a relaxing vacation. We'll be back.

We expected a slightly larger spa, but we liked the setting.
We didn't manage to go on any of the excursions offered by the hotel, but even there, between snowshoeing, skiing, and other snow excursions, there was something for everyone.

We stayed at the hotel for a wellness week. We were booked and accommodated in the suite with a bathtub whirlpool and two-person sauna. The room can be warmly recommended. The room is very nicely and comfortably furnished. The hanging chair and loungers on the private balcony seem to have been around for a few years.
The pictures on the internet no longer fully correspond to the reality on site.
The on-site staff also seems to have largely lost the joy of working. Above all, the owner, you are not greeted and served in a friendly manner at the reception.
The wellness area with the two bathrooms, which is accessible to everyone, somehow doesn't really invite you to bathe or linger. The outdoor pool is not heated, which is a shame.
The food, however, was very good.
The evening menu courses were all very tasty. The breakfast buffet is extensive and has something for everyone... The snack in between is nothing special. If you don't book full board, you have to pay 8 euros per person, per snack. It's better to go to a mountain restaurant and treat yourself to a fine meat platter or a fine Kaiserscharrn.
You can take hiking poles with you free of charge for hikes. There are also several e-bikes that you can use for free. However, a service would have been very necessary for all e-bikes. It is also not possible to be sure in the morning whether all of the bicycle batteries are charged. It also has snowshoes for the winter months.

Unfortunately, we are not so satisfied. The tablecloth should be changed. Breakfast is not particularly filling, lacking much, such as fruit, various cereals, low-fat quark and yogurt, and sausage, which are very monotonous. It is lean in just butter.
And the dishes should be cleared from the tables; they don't make a good impression. So far, we cannot recommend the restaurant; the evening menu is not designed for healthy, low-calorie food. At most, the salad buffet.
The lunch break is just a snack; no soup, and no salad here either.

A wonderful, family-run hotel. The amenities and facilities are fantastic, from the spa area with massages to the indoor and outdoor pools, and even a playroom for the little ones – everything and much more is available.
The food is first-class, both breakfast and dinner with a multi-course menu!
Live music of all kinds approximately every other evening I'm deducting one star (half a star) because of the volume, which could have woken our daughter and went on until 11 pm.
Hospitality and service are 5 stars.

The hotel is beautifully situated, and you can start hikes directly from the hotel in both summer and winter. The view of the mountains, especially from the roof terrace, is breathtaking. The wellness area is spacious, modern, and very clean – just like the room. The Lüsener Alm Suite was just as cozy, luxurious, and high-quality as depicted on the hotel's website. The only point deducted is for dinner, which, while always very tasty and well-prepared, was unfortunately often served less than lukewarm. The excellently prepared meat dishes were unfortunately not convincing. Nevertheless, a definite recommendation!

Flaws: Cutlery sometimes dirty, tablecloth not changed once despite stains. Lots of dogs, which often barked in the morning (to wake us up? ;)). Live music was quite loud in the evenings, until about midnight. The bathroom in the standard room is very small and seems dated. Overall, the room was reasonably priced, but not up to 4-star standards.

A beautiful hiking and wellness hotel on the edge of the Dolomites. We were impressed by the hotel's wonderful wellness area, nudist roof terrace with whirlpool, and excellent cuisine. We've been staying at the Bergschlössl for at least a week for many years now.
For us, our vacation begins within 10 minutes at the most.
A pampering atmosphere in every respect.
The newest addition is a very large children's playground with a petting zoo directly below the hotel terraces facing the valley. It's not cheap! Very well planned and executed. There was no skimping, as is often the case with other hotels.
The cuisine is of a very high standard. And the head chef knows his stuff. Thanks Markus!
