+ The panoramic view of the Bressanone valley was wonderful; some of the views were truly breathtaking. In my opinion, this property's value for money makes it excellent. The dinner menu was truly excellent; two dishes in particular (the shrimp and the reinterpretation of strudel) were excellent. A special mention must also be made of the dining room, which is very elegant and offers a beautiful view. The same goes for the service, which is varied and high-quality (not very varied, to be honest, for the savory options; I would improve the à la carte portion of the breakfast menu). Some reviews criticize the dining room staff, judging them unprepared. Yes, they're young, and there are some inaccuracies, but they were very kind, which is important. The three-level spa (slightly uncomfortable but well-organized). The room design is also very good, with excellent soundproofing. In any case, I'd like to highlight some improvements regarding the rooms, which are mandatory for this type of hotel: the bathroom guest kit is almost nonexistent (just two simple vanity kits), I personally don't appreciate the standard soap selection (but they do bring liquid soap upon request), Segafredo coffee pods can be replaced with Nespresso, teas and herbal teas in the rooms could be improved (the one in the spa area is excellent), a very cheap pencil (perhaps a green wooden one, but that could also be improved), a 3-star hotel-style minibar, and I'd also add a hairdryer diffuser. Overall, we liked it a lot and recommend it.

+ I stayed for two nights and, to sum up, it was great to be able to enjoy the heated pool and spa even when it rained. (If it were a regular hotel, there's very little to do in the Dolomites when there's a thunderstorm at 3 p.m.) The European-style sauna in the hotel's public spa was a truly refreshing experience. Plus, the pool water was incredibly clean. The magnificent mountain views from the room and pool are impossible to capture with a camera. The in-room sauna was a delight to enjoy in the morning. Surprisingly, I didn't use the in-room sauna very often, but it was still satisfying to enjoy the Dolomites' charm on a rainy night. I was worried about the food because some Koreans complained about the poor taste, but I was completely satisfied. Think of it as a dining experience. I couldn't resist the wine. Please note that most men wear a shirt, long pants, and shoes for dinner. (I did notice that the chef likes to wear shoes.) Overall, it was a very satisfying stay. I left with many good memories.

+ This is a true example of quiet and unobtrusive Italian luxury. The interior and exterior are beautifully and thoughtfully coordinated with an emphasis on natural materials and sustainability. The kitchen is top-notch, the breakfast is really very good, as we are used to from the Italians. Good range of activities, very good spa, shuttle to the slopes runs all day every 30 minutes. The town at the foot of the mountain, which is a short local bus ride away, is very charming with several good restaurants and shops. Hiking trails nearby, some tours are even organized from the hotel

I highly recommend the relaxing stone massage. The waiter, Leo, was very friendly and always tried to accommodate us. There are some serious shortcomings in the cuisine. The menu is limited and not suitable for all palates. Of course, they can't please everyone, but the food is too special, and there's not even the option to order something simple off the menu. We had to order a plate of pasta with meat sauce from the kids' menu to get something to eat. Then I don't know what happened, but we spent an hour and a half sitting at the table eating when the dishes, being small and pre-cooked (the pasta was very visible), should have come out immediately! In short, some very positive things, but the food is definitely not. Definitely worth revisiting!

For a hotel that markets itself as 5-star luxury, the service and attention to detail were far below expectations. The restaurant staff were poorly trained — dinner service was disorganized, and the waiters lacked basic manners and professionalism. They were not friendly or attentive, and the atmosphere felt more like a casual café than fine dining. The bellboy was also rude and dismissive, offering no greeting or courtesy after dropping off our bags. On top of that, the amenity kits were incomplete, and the hotel provides bar shampoo instead of proper bottled toiletries — extremely inconvenient, especially for guests with long hair. Small details like this matter, and they really highlight the lack of thought put into guest comfort. Overall, Santre Dolomythic Home is overpriced and fails to deliver the quality and service one should expect from a 5-star property. The setting may be nice, but the hospitality and standards need serious improvement.

+ Fantastic hotel!! Uncomplicated and relaxed luxury. A large hotel—which we didn't perceive as such, as it was so well thought out and planned. Superb rooms—very comfortable, and here too you can see the attention to detail. The food was excellent, sophisticated, flavorful, and plentiful. We also found the atmosphere very peaceful and relaxing: no hustle and bustle or noise. The team is very young, professional, and attentive. There's also a pool table and games for entertainment, or you can simply enjoy the breathtaking view of the valley. There's also a spa area that leaves nothing to be desired. Brixen or Bolzano are easily accessible for sightseeing, if you have any time left over from all the hotel's sports activities. For us, it was a wonderful break that gave us renewed strength after some difficult times.

Carolin, Elisa, Romina, Matthias, and Lukas definitely deserve a special mention; they do a fantastic job. Culinary delights leave nothing to be desired, and your cooking is top-notch! We will definitely be back, even though there are a few points that deserve criticism: Let's be honest, you're a young and modern hotel, certainly appealing to a slightly different generation, with a kitchen crew that wears backwards caps, but you require long trousers at dinner and no head coverings!? I don't think such a rigid dress code is necessary in such a "cool" hotel. Your techno and event infusions are anything but relaxing, and more infusions like Markus's should be offered here. Nothing else is needed for those who combine a sauna and spa with relaxation. It's quite warm throughout the hotel, and the fact that the air conditioning is no longer active at the beginning of October makes for many warm and not particularly restful nights. Even though the hotel is far from Bressanone, you can still hear the Brenner Autobahn quite loudly at night.

Rooms are thoughtfully furnished and designed, but feature impractical details. The spa is relatively small compared to other similarly sized hotels, and there's only one outdoor pool, which isn't particularly large and gets very crowded at certain times. Breakfast is very good, but service is slow. The real downside is dinner; the restaurant is absolutely subpar. Limited selection, poorly cooked dishes, inappropriate pairings, some inedible, and no attention to seasonal ingredients or local cuisine. The staff, while friendly, isn't up to par.

The buffet (we had half board) was incredible, both at breakfast and in the evening, with an amazing variety and quality. However, there is still room for improvement in the service area. At the bar, we had to wait longer every evening except for two, and ended up getting our drinks ourselves. After our drinks were finished, several waiters walked past the table, but no one asked if we wanted anything else. At dinner, we felt that the personal touch was somewhat lacking – the young team is friendly and dedicated, but you can still notice their lack of experience and attentiveness (e.g., no explanation of the dishes, no request for new drinks). We also found it a shame that the kitchen was already closed after 10 p.m., and guests were simply referred to an external pizza delivery service. All in all, a lovely hotel, but we expect a little more in terms of service at this price range and with a 5-star rating.

+ Our 4-night stay was exceptional. The establishment is only 3 years old; everything is new, very well thought-out, and tastefully designed with quality materials. Our room was very comfortable. The breakfast is exceptional, with a selection beyond your imagination, and the dinner, included in the price (excluding drinks), where you have the choice of three multi-course menus (menu of the week, vegan menu, or the dining experience), is simply perfect, with very elaborate dishes. What can we say about the infinity pool heated to over 30 degrees, or the natural pool (between 22 and 24 degrees during our stay) with its exceptional view... or the spa with several saunas, a hammam, and a jacuzzi, always with this exceptional view... The staff is also very kind and pleasant. It was difficult to leave the hotel to go hiking, but so pleasant to come back and relax in the afternoon. Everything was simply perfect, and we will definitely return for a future stay.

This hotel has been lovingly planned by the three brothers down to the smallest detail, from the simple yet powerful logo to the lighting design in the stairwell, which echoes the logo's message. The hotel itself has a wonderfully modern ambience that welcomes guests upon entry and makes them feel at home from that moment on. The room design and spa area are top-notch and leave nothing to be desired. The service is provided by a young, motivated, relaxed, and cheerful team who get along well and treat each other as colleagues. This is also communicated to guests, who immediately feel included. The cuisine and wine selection are of the highest standard. There's not much room for improvement; it couldn't be any better! All in all, the concept is sound and impressive, the hotel and its ambience are exceptional, and the service is simply perfect. It's hard to believe that this fantastic hotel was built and developed in such a short time after the coronavirus pandemic. + An almost perfect hotel! Arriving at the hotel alone is a highlight. Driving down the driveway, you're immediately struck by the minimalist, modern architecture and the uncluttered, exclusive ambience. The entire hotel is harmonious and of high quality – that's immediately noticeable. Great materials, beautiful lighting design, and skillful stylistic contrasts throughout. The reception was also super friendly and very relaxed. The first impression was definitely outstanding, even though I would have appreciated a water or other beverage upon arrival. Then we went to the room. Here, too, the first impression is phenomenal. However, the furnishings are – and it almost hurts to say this – rather limited. It's nothing extraordinary, which is to be expected for the hefty price. Personally, I missed contemporary lighting scene settings (only large groups of lights could be switched on, no individual options), as well as a radio or other way to listen to music. Additionally, there were only bars of soap (including for body and hair) in the room; I had to get regular liquid shower gel or shampoo from reception. Furthermore, there was only one trash can in the room, which was built into the bathroom cabinet and took a long time to find. Overall, a great room, but unfortunately, it didn't blow me away. Now for the food: after making a reservation, I was allowed to sit on the terrace for dinner. Starters were available at the buffet, and the main course and dessert were served at the table. Everything tasted amazing. You could taste high-quality ingredients and attention to detail – all worthy of such a hotel. Unfortunately, the quality of service declined dramatically as the evening progressed. I was served by different staff every time I ordered, every time the food was served, and every time the food was cleared. I also ordered an espresso – specifically for dessert. It was brought to the table 10 minutes before dessert and was already cold by the time I ate it. Unfortunately, after dessert, the staff didn't pay any attention to me at all – they didn't clear the table, nor could I order or pay anything. I then had to walk to a server and pay at the counter – that's definitely not 5-star quality. The behavior of some of the service staff also doesn't match this standard: there are clear "favorites" of the staff who are served to a different standard than guests visiting Santre for the first time. While some more important guests are treated to long and, above all, loud conversations, other tables have to wait for service and are then treated rather coldly. Even among the service staff themselves, there seems to be two classes: those who have something to say and those who have to run at the push of a button. This was particularly noticeable at breakfast, which, incidentally, was of great quality and had a nice selection. Here, the staff were practically driven by superiors, while the young man himself had pleasant conversations with guests. Overall, the staff here – especially in front of guests – should act a little more professionally and tone down the hierarchy. Overall, the demeanor of a certain young man (who later turned out to be the service manager) seemed very unprofessional – loud conversations across several tables and while passing by do not reflect high service quality, even though the hotel clearly cultivates a very informal and informal atmosphere. The spa area was excellent. The saunas were high-quality, the pools were very clean, and overall, everything seemed very nice and well-maintained. However, I would have preferred longer opening hours for the spa area and the pools. A highlight of the hotel is the underground parking garage, known internally as the "Car.Gallery." It is actually more like a gallery than a garage. Beautiful lighting designs welcome guests, the floors are spotlessly clean, and there are plenty of charging stations for electric cars.

The entire team, a young and friendly group, was very welcoming and always served us with kindness and attention. The hotel rooms are beautiful, clean, and tastefully decorated, down to the smallest detail. We were particularly pleasantly surprised by the provision of a yoga mat and natural cosmetics – a wonderful touch! The quality of the natural cosmetics was truly outstanding. A big compliment to the kitchen as well! My dietary requirements and intolerances were perfectly accommodated! The dishes were beautifully presented and tasted superb. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

Had we not been ill for the entire stay, this would have been a world-class vacation. The selection and quality of the food is very high-end, regional, and delicious. However, during our 10-day stay, we eventually found it a bit much to have so many small courses every evening, some of which were a little dry or simply not to our taste. Fortunately, we were able to easily order delicious pasta, schnitzel, and other dishes from the children's menu or simply request them without any extra charge or hassle, which was very pleasant. Everything in the hotel is new and of high quality. We would love to return again sometime to fully enjoy the beautiful ambiance. We also plan to use the sauna and the whirlpool in our room next time, so we might avoid traveling during the peak of summer. The hotel is highly recommended all around, and the owning family is always on-site, taking care of many things.

+ If you’re looking for heaven on earth, look no further. We had a fabulous stay, everything was simply perfect. It was a surprise trip I had arranged for a special occasion for my partner. So, I needed to get everything absolutely right. The excellent service began before my arrival at the hotel. The reception staff (Lara, Verena, Katharina) and the experience guide (Alexander) answered all my questions and helped me with the arrangements for the special occasion. Hotel itself is magnificent, with stunning views of the majestic landscape. Facilities are world-class. There is a sexy indoor-outdoor connected heated infinity pool as well as steam bath, sauna and gym. We also received the Rocky Relax signature massage treatment which utilized smoke infusions and stones, a unique local South Tyrollean treatment which was an absolute delight, leaving us feeling pampered and tranquil. Thanks to Melanie and the younger masseuse (can’t remember her name!). We stayed in the San Ray Suite with private jacuzzi, sauna, terrace, garden and of course, sublime views. There is literally nothing sweeter than waking up and spending the day in this suite, and the hotel facilities. For breakfast, they have a good buffet selection but also some items you could order off the menu. Very decent quality. Coffee is good. Lunch is not included in the price but you could still order food at the bar during the day. For dinner, they provide a multi-course upscale gourmet dining experience, with the menu changing everyday. Each bite was an explosion of paradise in my mouth, and so it was very exciting to look forward to dinner each night, not knowing what you’re going to get. I would like to give a shout out to the restaurant team who took care of us, especially Nadine, who was primarily in charge of our table. But also to others like Raffael, Simon, Hannes and many others which I didn’t catch their names! We were even served by two of the three brothers who own the hotel. After dinner, we chilled at the bar where there is a cozy and elegant fireplace, and some little nooks where you could play board games or billiards. On some days they have live music too. In terms of things to do during the day, the hotel provides several guided activities during the week, already included in the hotel price, such as hikes, yoga, stretching, Pilates etc. We did a panoramic snow hike led by Alexander. We were driven about 15 mins to a starting point at about 2000m elevation (compared to the hotel at 850m). During a stop at a view point, Alexander provided us a nice charcuterie board as well as warm tea. It was a great experience with majestic views of the dolomites (Aferer Geisler up close and Zillertal Alps in the distance, I think). Overall, we had a magical experience. We really felt like we had a slice of heaven. Hotel is in a stunning location with great facilities. Staff were extremely warm and service was excellent. The food was absolutely delicious. The hotel has a very nice vibe and puts you in a very positive spirit. We felt very taken care of and will certainly return.

+ We really enjoyed our 4-night stay at Santre. The rooms are nice and clean, the dinner tasting menu is incredible, and the property is beautiful. The spa is also great (nude required which I failed to realize beforehand - my fault since it's on the website). We enjoyed it anyway but do we wish it stayed open later. It closes at 7:30 so if you're enjoying your day hiking in the Dolomites you don't have a ton of time to enjoy the spa upon return, especially considering popular hikes often begin a 45-120 minute drive away. The only reason we are giving 4 stars rather than 5 is due to the fact we did not have functioning air conditioning for the first two nights. We noticed this on the first night - it was 33 C (92 F) that day and our room would not go below 26 C despite being set to 20 (the lowest allowed). We called the front desk and they said they would fix it in the morning. We went hiking that next day and came back in the early evening - the AC still was not working. They did not tell us whether they had someone try to fix it that day and again said there was nothing they could do that night, so we had to deal with another night at 26 C. They switched our room the next day and the AC worked much better, but it was unfortunate to get very poor and sweaty sleep for half our stay at a luxury 5-star hotel. We asked if they could provide any compensation for the issue and they would not, although they did give us a bottle of prosecco. Without that issue our stay was fantastic. We would likely stay at Santre again and hope it was a one-time problem.

+ Few words to describe this piece of heaven on earth. I believe even the most stressed out, workaholic, overthinking, nervous person would enjoy each peaceful second in this beautiful place. From the very lobby to the stunning infinity pool in the mountains, everything was perfect. The breakfast was a ten out of ten in my book (with even vegan omelette !!) and dinner felt like a high end Michelin every night. We were absolutely stunned at the quality and quantity (full menu) considering dinner was included in the price of the room. We were lucky to enjoy this level of luxury for a very fair price, at less than 400€ a night. I don’t think it will be possible again anytime soon at that price - but even at a higher rate, this place is absolutely worth it and one of a kind.

Despite providing all our passports, the receptionist had trouble finding our reservation. she was confused about the number of nights we had booked(I corrected this right away), and then claimed that our stay hadn’t been paid yet, even though we had completed full payment via the booking site. she printed out incorrect documents stating that we still owed the accommodation fee. we had to ask for a double-check and prove our payment record. it worked out in the end and she said it was a mistake, but for someone less fluent in English, this could have led to a much more stressful situation. this hotel is still wonderful, but it could be perfect with more attentive service at the reception.

+ When preparing for my trip to the Dolomites, my biggest concern was choosing a hotel. Because the Dolomites are so vast, location was crucial, and finding a place I liked wasn't easy. Most places seemed a bit run-down, so I kept searching until I stumbled upon Santre Dolomythic Home. And it was a great choice! This hotel is a bit far from the city center, but it's a newly built five-star hotel, so it had a clean and sophisticated atmosphere that was perfect. We stayed in a spacious room with a jacuzzi. With two rooms and two bathrooms, it was perfect for the three of us. Above all, the view of the Alps from the window was truly breathtaking. You know that feeling that can't be captured in a photo? The food was also fantastic. Every dish was carefully prepared, the ingredients were fresh, and the taste was delicious. It wasn't too heavy, but it was just the right amount of filling! And one of the restaurant staff, Viviana, always greeted me warmly with a smile, which made me feel good every time I had breakfast or dinner. I think this kind of attentive service really elevates the quality of your trip. If you're planning a trip to the Dolomites, and you're looking for a quiet, clean place to relax, a great view, and great service, I wholeheartedly recommend Santré! I was surprised to see so many Korean honeymooners.

The pool is well-maintained and the water is warm. The sauna is nude, but you can cover yourself with a towel and go in. Since it opens at 11 o'clock, it's before check-in time, so there won't be many people, so you won't have to worry about being embarrassed. For dinner, they serve a lot of difficult fine dining dishes, but you can ask for a change, and there's a salad bar, so you can fill your stomach a little. Overall, the Hotel Santre made a good impression, but unfortunately, it didn't quite reach five-star levels. Negative points: • The staff, especially at dinner, didn't make a particularly good impression. Vivien and an older lady with a very friendly and calm voice were exceptions (unfortunately, I didn't get her name). • There was only one bottle of water (750 ml) in the room, which was refilled. We found this a bit meager. • The toiletries were very limited: just soap and shampoo, nothing more. • The air conditioning didn't work well; it was always stuffy in the room. As a result, we constantly had to leave the balcony door open. • The situation with the tables at breakfast and dinner was unclear. We were told that tables were assigned, but if you wanted to change tables, it wasn't so easy. We tried to find out how to get a different table, but no one could really explain it to us. • Positive points: • Convenient parking and easy access from the parking lot to the hotel. • Breathtaking view from the balcony where breakfast and dinner are served. • The spa area offered fruit, tea, and other treats – we really appreciated that. • For the first time, we found bathrobes in sizes other than XL – a big plus! The hotel is truly lovely, but these minor shortcomings prevented us from awarding it a perfect score.

The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home, thoughtfully preparing a crib for our daughter and attending to her needs during meals. The food was another highlight. Breakfast each morning felt like a special occasion, and the included five-course dinners were well-balanced, with thoughtful vegan options available. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owners, who were gracious, generous with their time, and made us feel like part of the Santre family. We took full advantage of the wellness area—relaxing in the various saunas and pools and enjoying spa treatments from their outstanding team. Santre is a place we’ll absolutely return to. It offers the charm, tranquility, and natural beauty of the Dolomites with the comfort and service of a top-tier alpine retreat. Highly recommended

You can enjoy the peaceful Swiss atmosphere of the Dolomites. The pool is warm, the nude spa offers a great view, and the gym has great machines. Finger food is available throughout, and the staff is friendly. Breakfast doesn't have salad, but the yogurt, bread, egg dishes, and coffee were delicious, so I was very satisfied. Dinner was a bit complicated. The Dining Experience is better than Simon's Favorite, but... (The soup is very salty.) We arrived at 6:30, the dinner start time, but the last dessert came out at 8:30, and the wait was exhausting. Haha. All drinks/alcoholic beverages are paid for, but even a simple water was charged at 4 euros. ㄷㄷ Seating is assigned to each room.

+ My partner and I had a wonderful five-night stay at Santre - Dolomythique. The hotel is tastefully designed—stylish, with high-quality materials—and they’ve created a truly inviting atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional across the board—no exceptions. We were looked after by Lukas throughout our stay, and he was consistently attentive, warm, and clearly a hospitality professional. Thank you!! We also really appreciated the kitchen’s creativity. There’s a great balance between variety and sustainability, with local products featured. The spa area is spacious, with a fantastic pool, a whirlpool in the sauna area, and several saunas (three or four). There are also plenty of quiet zones for reading or even a nap. The surroundings offer beautiful walking trails—from easy strolls to more challenging hikes. We would definitely recommend this hotel!

We had a wonderful few days and will definitely be back for a third time! We especially loved the delicious food – a regional and very varied breakfast buffet in the morning and several multi-course menus of the highest quality in the evening – as well as the excellent service. All the staff are incredibly attentive and friendly. You can really tell they have excellent South Tyrolean training. We also loved recognizing many familiar faces from last year and that the very friendly owners are always present and help out in various ways. Although the weather wasn't so great this time, we weren't bored thanks to the fantastic spa area and the well-equipped gym. The stylish furnishings and breathtaking views also make you want to spend more time in your room. We look forward to many more visits!

This family-run 5-star hotel is idyllically located in St. Andrä at the foot of the Plose mountain and offers breathtaking views over the Eisack Valley. Our suite was beautifully and stylishly furnished, with great attention to detail. The spacious wellness area with various saunas, indoor and outdoor pools, and a natural swimming pond is particularly noteworthy. The adults-only relaxation oasis for those over 16 on the second floor with panoramic views over Bressanone offered us the perfect retreat for relaxation. We were treated to culinary delights featuring regional products in the panoramic restaurant. The 5-course dinner in the evening was an absolute highlight. The staff was always friendly, attentive, and responsive to all our requests, which made our stay particularly pleasant. The hotel also offers daily guided activities for outdoor enthusiasts. The food—both breakfast and dinner—is outstanding and prepared with care and expertise. The organized excursions, spa, and suites with whirlpool and sauna are highly recommended. Two or three minor drawbacks: The private sauna and whirlpool are only available until 9:00 p.m., which makes them practically unusable in the evenings, especially when combined with dinner. The noise restriction for the whirlpool is understandable, but the sauna? The pool is also only open until 8:00 p.m.—this is simply unacceptable these days. There's also a room service fee of €25. And: at least bottled water in the rooms should be complimentary—that should be a given. Otherwise: everything was top-notch, and I'd gladly return! A very nice hotel.

+ We stayed here on our honeymoon for 3 nights. Excellent hotel with relaxing amenities, delicious food and a very warm and accommodating staff. Pick up and drop off - We arrived at the train station and missed our bus to the hotel. Upon calling the hotel, they promptly sent us a car to pick us up. They also offer shuttle service to the Plose gondola station which is very convenient if you don’t have a car. Room - We were initially given a room on the first floor with an obstructed view and limited privacy, specially at night. We requested for a change and were promptly offered another room on the second floor which was more to our liking. Rooms are spacious and comfy. Note : there is an extended grassy floor ahead of the balcony which means you don’t have a clear view of the valley. Pool and Sauna - The hotel pool and saunas are a class apart. The heated infinity pool is a highlight. There is an adult only section with no swimsuits and several saunas to try out. Very tastefully done and invokes a sense of calm. Dining - The restaurant is beautiful and the spread is fantastic. We were not pleased with the fixed seating as our assigned seat was in the back with limited view of the mountains. This was a shame as we flew from very far and would have loved to enjoy the view, atleast for one meal. We requested for it a few times and towards the end of our stay, managed to change our table to another part of the restaurant (still not near the window). It was nice of the staff to make an effort to accommodate our request. Hikes and activities - The hotel has various activities on a daily basis. We loved our hike to a scenic point in the mountains. The guides were friendly and had arranged for herbal tea and schnapps to be enjoyed at the midpoint which was a fun surprise. There are also plenty of activities (ski lessons, paragliding etc) that one can inquire about. Overall, a brilliant stay at a hotel with much to offer. Will definitely be back!

Thank you to the owner that gives young people a chance to have a job! Everyone is very polite. + We had a wonderful stay at the Santre. The staff is extremely attentive and friendly; you feel at home right from the moment you arrive at the reception desk. The rooms are immaculately clean and beautiful. Our little dachshund was delighted to receive an extra bowl and a bag of treats, which I don't take for granted. The food is second to none, and we had incredibly delicious meals both in dinner and in the morning – the selection is enormous. The family who owns the restaurant is incredibly friendly. The ambiance is beautiful and special, yet you still feel like you're being invited to a friend's house, the atmosphere is so relaxed. One small comment: it would be great if signs could be posted in the spa area stating that loungers cannot be reserved with bags or towels. I take it for granted that I "own" a lounger until I go back to the sauna, so I take my bag with me and free up the lounger. Unfortunately, too many people only think about themselves and reserve loungers for their entire stay in the spa. This means that, of course, there isn't enough room for everyone on a busy weekend. It's a shame that this isn't logical for all guests anyway, but I would like to see some kind of notice or intervention from the hotel, as it unfortunately somewhat spoils the spa experience. All in all, this hotel is truly top-notch, and I can wholeheartedly recommend a stay! Dear Goller family, you have created something incredible here, and your passion is reflected in every inch of the hotel. We'll be back!

+ An incredibly beautiful hotel, designed with great attention to detail. The rooms, in particular, are architecturally extremely well-designed and offer a wealth of charm, making it easy to feel at home. Everything else is ultra-modern, yet not overly exuberant like in other 5-star hotels; we really enjoyed the youthful, bold style that is also evident throughout the hotel. We would say the target audience is primarily 30-50 year olds, energetic, active, and athletic people. The fitness room, for example, was very modern and equipped with everything you need for modern strength and endurance training. The spa area is beautiful and offers everything you need to unwind after an active day in the mountains – including a view of Bressanone from the whirlpool on the roof terrace. Culinary delights include both the extensive breakfast buffet and the varied evening menu – each reflects a modern and sustainable approach, with special attention paid to the needs of a healthy lifestyle (although everything else is available, of course, but there's a very good selection of healthy dishes and groceries). If we had one suggestion for improvement, it would be for the (very young) service team: they need a bit more structure and know-how, as well as an overarching management function that provides guidance and support to the young staff. The young team was often overwhelmed and forgot things, or it took a very long time, which we understood, but perhaps not all guests in such establishments.

For dinner, they offer a salad buffet and then they mainly offer three menu options (vegan, meat, and fish). Excellent wine selection. Breakfast is super rich and delicious! They offer endless delights. The adults-only spa is very welcoming, not very large but offers everything you need (two saunas, a Turkish bath, a cold pool, two relaxation areas, and an outdoor hot tub with a view of the splendid valley). The area accessible by bathing suit is equipped with a sauna, an indoor and outdoor infinity pool, and finally the relaxation area. There is also a children's pool.

Having travelled from Australia and being unfamiliar with the area, Santre was the perfect base for a few luxurious days in the Dolomites. From the list of activities with guide Alexander (we particularly enjoyed the sunrise hike!) to the extensive on site facilities (including multiple pools, saunas, steam room and spa services) and phenomonal dinners, Santre is an oasis where you can relax and recharge amongst nature. + For me, this is one of the best hotels around. The difference compared to many other hotels in this price range is striking. After staying here several times, it feels like coming home. The ambiance is lovely, welcoming, and yet luxurious. The service is outstanding and unique. In many hotels in this price range, the staff is rather impersonal, fulfilling your every wish. It's completely different here, and you feel included and welcomed. The hotel itself is located a little off the beaten path, but it's easily accessible via the Brenner motorway. So, it's the perfect place to unwind, both in summer and winter. Definitely an all-season hotel that you can visit any time of year. I wish everyone could have this experience. The hotel certainly isn't cheap, but for me, it's always been worth every penny. Especially considering the meals, which are included in the price (half-board).

The lighting throughout the hotel is fantastic. Our room was an "entry-level" one but still very, very beautiful, with an indoor relaxation area with a view and a small garden. The wine tasting room is superb. The open kitchen is beautiful, and the view from the restaurant is stunning, whether you choose to sit on the terrace or inside. The service definitely needs to be improved. Lots of young people constantly asking if "everything is okay." Someone more experienced should be able to better "guide" them and achieve the quality of service expected of a 5-star hotel. No comment on the lunch menu. Breakfast was good, but room for improvement. At dinner, the selection is limited compared to similarly sized establishments in Trentino Alto-Adige, and even at dinner, the service is not always punctual and attentive, despite the kindness of the young woman serving our table (no cutlery was brought between the first and second courses). The caper risotto was inedible. It was disappointing to have to choose between dessert and a cheese plate. The cheese plate was paltry, instead of the two lemon-based desserts (a chef's choice that shows little imagination). The wine list was top-notch. I really liked the hotel, but the service and food were less so. I'd call it beautiful but soulless.

It's a real shame not to be able to swim in the main pool and enjoy the icy water paradise, and when I asked to heat it, I was absolutely denied. Furthermore, in a 5-star hotel, you expect there to always be someone at reception. It's a shame to get lost over such a small expense.

+ Based on the good and positive reviews, we had correspondingly high expectations, which were met in every respect. Booking requests were answered and processed very precisely and promptly, and my telephone inquiries were answered in a very friendly and customer-oriented manner. Check-in was also easy: a friendly greeting, car keys were dropped off, and after a brief hotel introduction, our luggage was already in room 202. The room is very spacious and offers everything we expect from a room in this category. The only downside was that the view was very limited on one side due to the sauna, so only the mountains opposite and to the south were clearly visible. During dinner, depending on the weather and temperature, if you reserve in advance (manually via a registration board at breakfast), you can sit outside and enjoy the excellent food in the evening sun. The young kitchen team offers three menus to choose from daily, one of which is vegan, and dishes can be swapped. The food is of a very high standard, and the meat dishes prepared by Simon or Leon were particularly sensationally good. I can also highly recommend the desserts and the dessert buffet organized once a week. The service team, especially Alex and Hannes, who recognize every guest's wish by their eyes and always have a good sense of humor, as well as recommending the right wine, is very young, dynamic, and attentive. The breakfast has been particularly praised in many reviews, and I can agree with that. Claudia, the busy bee, deserves special mention here. She is excellent at explaining how to use the juicers and also helps with tips and tricks for the orange press. There is live music three times a week in the evening, very subtle and pleasant, which guests also take advantage of. Then come the drinks from the cool bar, whose recommendations were divine. The Pornstar Martini with tequila and clarified coffee was truly a dream. The guys at the bar are really talented. You can bring your dog to dinner, which many of the guests took advantage of. In general, the hotel is very friendly to guests with dogs. The wellness area offers a 90-degree sauna, where two infusions are performed daily by true professionals. Alexander and Markus do it in their own way, and sweating it out was really enjoyable. The 60-degree sauna is also very pleasant, as is the steam bath, where you can enjoy a scrub daily at 5:00 PM. When the sun is shining, you can enjoy the very warm (31 or 32 degrees) pool, as well as the natural pond, which, depending on the weather, was a pleasant refreshment at around 25 degrees. The loungers in the wellness area and outside were really comfortable. In the afternoon, usually around 2:00 PM, the outdoor bar is open, where drinks and a (free) ice cream are a remarkable treat. Also around 2:00 PM, a fruit platter is available in the spa, the quality of which I have never seen in any other hotel, and it is regularly replenished. The hotel was fully booked during my stay, but there was never a shortage or lack of loungers or anything similar. Towels were also always replenished promptly. I was surprised by the international mix of guests, as there were guests from Asia, the USA, England, the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Ukraine, in addition to the expected nationalities like Switzerland, Germany, Italy, and Austria. This also led to a variety of guests, as many were only staying at the hotel for 2-4 days on a short trip. The fitness studio, with the latest Technogym equipment, offers every opportunity for training or exercise, helping you work off all that food. All in all, a very good hotel that I must recommend!

The only thing to consider is its location and to know what you sign up for - it's higher in the mountain and a bit further from Brixen, so if that's your jam, look no further. + A modern hotel with a beautiful panoramic view, it's located 1 km up/down from the cable car and just under 4 km from Bressanone (walking distance for those like us who want to use the car as little as possible). The only downside is that you have to be careful at the entrance if you drive because it's right on the road. The room was very nice, spacious, and above all, very clean. The dinner menu is very unique, but luckily, you can ask the waiters for alternative dishes. All the staff are super willing to accommodate any request, and the services offered are also excellent. + The hotel is beautifully situated in a natural setting, and we immediately felt at home. The check-in staff took their time and explained everything to us very well. Our room was very nice. The wooden elements combined with the modern touch are particularly great. Unfortunately, our view was somewhat obscured by the overgrown roof platform. As a result, the balcony was rather dark and the view not so nice. In the room, we would have liked the minibar to have some milk for our coffee. It would also be good if someone went through the rooms in the evening and checked the water, coffee, etc., and refilled them if necessary. Dinner in the restaurant was good but not outstanding. The service seemed a bit uncontrolled at first, and when the dishes were placed down, no explanation was given as to what was on the plate. We would have liked that, since it was a set menu and each plate usually contained several components. The dessert buffet was excellent. A dream for dessert lovers. Before dinner, we stopped by the bar. After a cocktail, we wanted another glass of wine. Unfortunately, the waiter never came back to our table, so we decided to pay. We did it ourselves inside, since no one else was available outside. One owner had a lot of time to spend with friends at the next table. It would have been better if the other guests had been served. We felt the attention was lacking. The breakfast was amazing, and the spa area, the gym, and the pool are very nice. If the service is more coordinated and perhaps one day it becomes an adults-only hotel, we'll be back. The value for money didn't convince us this time.

Saw a lot of places in the world already and this was the best service I ever experienced. The staff is well trained and they are best in class. It’s absolut positiv that the whole setup isn’t old money tight - it’s modern, easy and still exclusive. [Price] Of course salty but fair. It’s at its limits to be managed by a family, my opinion- this is one of their key selling points and success criteria. Keep it familiar, don’t pull in management, corporates or investors which need to get feeded. Respect to the family, taking the financial risk and burden - but also to keep it maintained with personal contact and love. 5/5* go get it

The only things I would criticize would be the wait for the à la carte breakfast order from the kitchen, the lack of a lock in the room, and the receptionist's occasional bad mood or facial expression (perhaps she was having a bad day). The spa area is fantastic, and we had everything we needed. We also really appreciated that the outdoor pools were properly heated, so we could enjoy them for a long time even in winter without getting cold. We had both a hearty schnitzel for lunch and fine dining in the evening, and the cuisine impressed us both times. Breakfast was varied, and we liked that there was a good selection of à la carte options in addition to the buffet. The room was clean and spacious, and we generally loved the interior design of the entire hotel. The service was consistently warm and welcoming, and we had a remarkably pleasant stay. 100% recommendation; we would definitely come back.

+ Santre is a beautiful, tranquil hotel in the Dolomites with an incredible spa, view, and room selection. The proximity to Plose and the hotel’s morning shuttles make it extremely easy to get a daily ski session in, then come back for a sauna. There is also a ski depot to store gear in a protected locker (with your room key). They serve two meals, breakfast and dinner, and both are full of great choices for all types of eaters (we are vegetarians). The quality of food is great, overall, and the wait staff are very nice. The spa has two saunas (one is very hot, 90c), a steam room, various areas to nap and relax, and a plunge. They offer infusions daily and other ceremonies. The aufguss was awesome. For those traveling from abroad: German is heavily spoke here, not Italian. Most of the roads to other towns are slow mountain passes, and it typically takes about 60-90m to get anywhere. We stayed in the hotel most of the time, although there’s a town nearby about 10m down the mountain. We ran into a small issue when we checked in that was quickly resolved. Thank you to the staff! They also coordinated flower delivery for our engagement, offered to arrange lunch upon our departure, and moved our car for us a few times.

+ I would love to give more stars because the owners are very warm and friendly, and you can really feel the family atmosphere as a guest. However, a few things bothered me that I'd like to mention. I find it very disappointing that the whirlpool can only be used without clothing; we weren't aware of this beforehand. I'm heavily pregnant, and I don't want to be naked in front of strangers. There's a relaxation room in the textile area, but it was never quiet, which is quite annoying when you want to relax. Dinner was great, but the dishes were very bland. One day, our towels weren't replenished, and we practically had no towels in our room. At breakfast, I noticed that one of the apples in the fruit salad still had a sticker on it. The rolls were very hard in the mornings, and sometimes certain items, like fresh fruit and croissants, were already gone very early. The salad bar didn't always live up to the high standard of the dishes on the menu. For example, they served a salad with canned mushrooms?! The team is very young and somewhat inexperienced; some of the waiters seemed almost timid and shy, making you feel almost guilty about speaking to them. What I personally found really disappointing was that the owner knew we were spending our honeymoon there, and we didn't even receive a small token of appreciation. At the next table, a woman had her birthday; the table was beautifully set, and the entire team congratulated her, while we got married a few days ago and received nothing. I wasn't expecting a huge surprise, but a small gesture would have been nice.

+ Left for holiday, arrived home We had a fantastic holiday at the Goller family's Santre Dolomythic Home. Everything was perfect – from arrival to departure. You can tell from the very beginning that great attention to detail has been put into everything here. Regarding the room (in our case, the san.light Suite): The room is very spacious and furnished in a modern style with beautiful materials. In addition to the large shower, a great vanity area, a walk-in closet, a comfortable bed, and a wonderful integrated sitting/lounging area with a lovely view, a large balcony with a beautiful view of Brixen completes the picture. Regarding the spa area: On a rainy day or simply to unwind, the spa area is the perfect place to relax. There is a textile area with an infinity pool and sauna, as well as a clothing-optional area. In the clothing-optional area, you'll find a wide selection of saunas (be sure to try the panoramic sauna – the view is well worth the effort), a steam room, an ice plunge pool, and a sky pool. In the afternoon, two sauna infusions take place in the panoramic sauna. Alternatively, you can enjoy a scrub in the steam room. For those who prefer something more refreshing, there's also a natural swimming pond. There are plenty of relaxation rooms with loungers and alcoves, so everyone can find their perfect spot. The spa area also houses the fitness center and the massage/cosmetic treatments, but these are located separately. Regarding activities: A large weekly schedule is posted near reception, listing all the planned activities for the week. You can choose from e-bike tours, guided hikes, via ferrata climbing, or wine tasting. During our stay, we participated in the hikes and were thrilled with each one. We'd like to extend a huge thank you to our activity guide, Alex. If you're up for getting up very early on vacation, you should definitely join the "Sunrise Hike." Regarding food and drinks: Wow, wow, wow!!! ... The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. From Eggs Benedict to a selection of croissants with various fillings, omelets, fresh bread, muesli, honeycomb, fruit, fresh juices/smoothies, and much more... For dinner, you can choose between three five-course menus. One menu is available for the entire week, while the other two change daily. If you enjoy wine, you'll be in heaven. In addition to the "wine bible," we could absolutely rely on the recommendations from the staff and the sommelier. Those who want to wind down the evening can do so at the bar. During our stay, live music was played on several evenings (very pleasant, as it was rather unobtrusive), and the cocktails at the bar were also delicious. Finally, we'd like to add that a hotel is only as good as its team, which is what makes it special. Dear Goller family and dear Santre team – you make your hotel a special place; within the first few days, it felt like coming home. You are always there for your guests, everyone is so friendly and accommodating, and you know how to create a wonderful, welcoming atmosphere – thank you for that, and we are already looking forward to being your guests again in November.

+ Wow, what a hotel! Everything is brand new, beautifully decorated, a wonderful view, and the staff is super professional and incredibly friendly! The room was nice and clean, the bed was comfortable, everything was great What I really liked was that there are so many vegan options, at dinner (a 5-course vegan menu), at breakfast, and even in the minibar. I was thrilled; I didn't have to worry about what I could and couldn't eat. It's simply a dream for vegans! I have to give it a negative point, unfortunately. I asked at the reception about massages for my boyfriend and me, and there were already only two appointments available. We weren't sure about the times and were told we could also ask directly in the spa area downstairs if something became available. So the next day, we walked past the spa area three times and even waited for 20 minutes, but there was never anyone at the computer or spa reception. We even looked for staff, but unfortunately, there was no one there to help with our questions, which was very disappointing... But otherwise, we were very happy with everything. We even wanted to book a few nights again for New Year's Eve, but unfortunately, everything was already booked... The bar with live music in the evening was very cozy and beautifully decorated. Sipping cocktails by the fireplace, with the view, was simply wonderful We had a very pleasant stay and I highly recommend the hotel! We will definitely be back, hopefully with a massage next time...

+ October 2023. We often visit this wonderful region, where we spend at least two holidays a year. We've come across many wonderful properties, but unfortunately, the Santre wasn't such a wonderful experience for me. Our arrival was preceded by a nicely written email, essentially inviting us to check in online to save time, download the app that will be our guide and source of information for the entire week, and encourage us to bring our own slippers from home as an eco-friendly choice to reduce waste. They also recommended their solid soap, which has a lower environmental impact and will be used for our entire body, including hair. This focus on cost savings will also be emphasized in room cleaning, with guests encouraged to forgo daily housekeeping as a sensible and eco-friendly choice. This is also emphasized through paper cones left in the room encouraging guests not to waste their towels. The same philosophy applies to the pool water, which is barely warm, and the room heating is turned off day and night, except for the last two days. Showering and relaxing in the room wasn't exactly pleasant, and it was impossible to dry bathrobes and towels with the radiators always off. The kitchen has a very unique touch. I love innovative combinations, but I found some of the menu items to be daring and risky, to say the least. Between horseradish and hot spices, by the third day I had a mouth full of mouth ulcers and burning gums. We tested the laundry service for an emergency, requesting two shirts to be ironed for dinner (delivered early in the morning), which they easily accommodated. We didn't see them until the afternoon of the next day, upon request, because theoretically the second guarantee was to have them at 11:00 AM, but when they didn't arrive after lunch, we began to worry. The indoor pool is very small, and the outdoor pool, not having steaming hot water, didn't make me as relaxed as I usually do. We tried a spa treatment—a draining massage that I often enjoy, but it was so gentle it was imperceptible, and I didn't notice any improvement. I wasn't offered any products, oils, or creams to improve circulation, nor was I offered any additional treatments. At the end of the massage, I was cordially greeted and escorted out of the spa. I didn't sense any warmth or a particular desire to interact among the staff; throughout the week, the predominant language was German; only later, each time, did they remember we were Italian. The very young waiters were constantly coming and going between the tables, sometimes distracted, and especially in the morning, not very present. In fact, I opted to make my own cappuccino from the machine to cut down on time. Bread was only available for breakfast, while for dinner, a single roll was served, different every night, accompanied by truly delicious butter. After checking out and heading home, we received a last-minute offer for a suite identical to ours for the weekend. Had we known, we would have gladly taken advantage of it, since when we booked, the property only offered availability until Friday, so we had purposely shortened our stay. Otherwise, we would have gladly taken advantage of the extension, both because it was much better than our initial bill and because the area is truly worth seeing, with some amazing excursions to do. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this property. I've had much better experiences at similar prices with more perks.

You did have to request for a coffee maker and slippers upfront , which should be a given for a property of this caliber . The staff was always trying to cater to any needs. + I can confirm the positive reviews: Everything was very good, the staff was very pleasant and young, the food was excellent (the selection of dishes was comparable to 4-star hotels, but the quality was more like 5-star); the spa was very nice and the pool was great, the natural pond was cold but perfect after the sauna. My only criticisms were that the tiles in the spa were a bit slippery and the espresso at breakfast didn't taste particularly good. Overall, it's one of the best 4-star hotels in South Tyrol (we know many 4- and 5-star hotels there). Hiking and biking tours are superb, for example, taking the cable car to the Plose mountain.

The location at the top of the mountain with the panoramic view of the Brixental Valley and the surrounding mountains is fantastic. The rooms are very elegant and modern; the style, furnishings, and lighting all fit together perfectly. The beds are like sleeping on clouds; we've rarely slept so well. The wellness and spa area is a dream and very luxuriously equipped. My absolute highlight was the sauna infusions with sauna master Alexander. They were the best infusions I've ever experienced. The selection of aromas, music, and his almost dance-like movements as he circulated the air were a symphony for the senses. I had goosebumps all over my body; I've never experienced anything like it. The staff and service are excellent. Every single member of staff is so attentive, courteous, and helpful. Even the hotel owners themselves serve guests, clearing dishes and cutlery, and speaking to each guest so personally, as if they've been friends for years. This outstanding service particularly stood out to us and was the main reason we returned for a second time this year. The breakfast buffet is amazing and leaves nothing to be desired. If you'd like egg dishes or coffee, you're asked at your table, and it's served to you. I ordered fried eggs with extra crispy bacon (six other tables ordered after me), and when the extremely friendly waiter brought it to me in just a few minutes, he even asked me if the bacon was crispy enough. My highest praise for his attentiveness. The 5-course dinners were also excellent every time. Exquisite wines are recommended to complement the food, ensuring everything harmonizes perfectly. The drinks and cocktail menu also leaves nothing to be desired; the selection is truly gigantic. + From the moment my boyfriend and I walked into the lobby, we truly felt at home. Santre is a perfectly put together, beautiful getaway in the Dolomites. One thing that truly makes the experience is the staff. They are kind, charming, and always accessible but never overbearing. Also, the chef and kitchen team mean serious business. The food was outstanding. You can’t find a view that isn’t breathtaking whether you’re relaxing at the pools, working out, in the spa, or laying in your bed. That said, I can recommend a mountain e-bike tour or hike with Alex to not only get some crispy air and views but stop by an old hut and drink some beer and eat some local delicacies served from families who have lived there for hundreds of years. The family did such a good job building a home away from home where time doesn’t exist. If you go, stay for at least a week. You won’t regret it.

+ 5 days in a fantastic, first-class wellness hotel in Brixen, South Tyrol. It starts off well. The lobby is completely open on the 6th floor. The bar and restaurant are directly below. At the very bottom is the spa. The breakfast is very nice, delicious, and they offer absolutely everything. From the terrace, you have a fantastic view of the mountains. When the weather is nice, you can also sit outside in the evenings. All rooms have a view of the valley. We were on the 1st floor and even had a small terrace. The evening meal was fantastic, as was the service. The head chef, one of the three brothers who own the hotel, was always ready for a chat. The whole family works together. The spa is huge. The large whirlpool next to the sauna is also great. It offers a direct view of the nearby mountain range. And a very special highlight is the themed infusion in the sauna at 5:30 p.m. The sauna master puts on a fantastic show. Unforgettable. Thank you, you three brothers and Albin & Sigi from San Andrä ️ Oh yes, unfortunately I saw too late that you can book a ride through the mountains in a 1972 Rolls Royce convertible with champagne (with a chauffeur, of course). We'll do that next time

After checking in with the wonderfully efficient and incredible amicable staff, we were taken to our room and as soon as the door opens you’re hypnotized by the view. Our room had a sauna and a jacuzzi with gorgeous, relaxing views from our deck. The staff, some of the most helpful hotel staff I’ve had the pleasure to interact with. From the reception to the spa to the dining area staff, you’re all wonderful, Danke! The one issue we had. Despite the AC temperature reading 18C/64F it felt more like 24C/75F. We spoke to the the reception after the first night of trying to sleep in the heat and that day it felt slightly cooler in the room for two nights but then again the 4 night it was difficult to sleep in the heat. I wish the AC was stronger or that at least the guest had the option to request a fan for the room, something I’ve been able to do at other hotels since lack of AC strength is a common theme in Europe.

+ Great hotel: Very friendly service and excellent cuisine, top-notch amenities, and views over the valley. The sommeliers' recommendations and fantastic wine list are particularly noteworthy. The bar, wellness area, and pools are also excellent. Everything is spotlessly clean. There's very little room for improvement, which, while not worth deducting a star, I'd still like to mention as constructive criticism: The service was very slow a few times in the morning. We would have liked to see more regional staples on the menu in the evenings, in addition to the fancy food. There's no pool bar or poolside service. The dog walking path at the hotel is unfortunately a joke, but there are a few alternatives within walking distance. Unfortunately, the reception was barely informed about the bike tours advertised on the bulletin board, and when asked about the mountain biking weather before the trip, they didn't think to mention the closed bike park on the Plose. There's nothing you can do about it, but it's still important to know: The route to the Plose valley station is steep, both on foot (20-30 minutes) and by bike (10-20 minutes), mostly unsightly, and very strenuous. While there's an hourly bus that leaves 5-10 minutes away, it's not really an alternative to driving or the effort. Nevertheless, it's our favorite hotel on the Plose.

+ I would like to give it my unconditional recommendation! I've seen quite a few hotels in my life, but the santre dolomythic home does many things differently and better. The rooms are fantastic, offering plenty of space at 38 sq m and a 9 sq m balcony, but above all, they have a completely well-thought-out and practical layout. The staff is extremely attentive, and every day you can feel the 100% commitment of the five Goller family members who work at the hotel. They are completely open, particularly friendly, and natural. You can feel how much everyone in the hotel cares about making you feel comfortable and "at home." The food is amazing, but the wellness, spa, and sports activities leave nothing to be desired—we'll be back!

Service in the main restaurant both during breakfast and dinner is excellent, and run by true professionals. The activities offered by the hotel such as hiking or e-bike tours cover all tastes. Rooms are spacious and have a modern alpine style. We found the bed too hard for our taste, the staff immediately offered a solution by adding a mattress topper which was greatly appreciated. Unfortunately we found the room to be excessively hot both nights, even by sleeping with the windows open there was no way to regulate the temperature.

+ By a stroke of luck, I was able to stay at this hotel. It was an incredible experience! I have no other comparison because I normally can't afford facilities like this, but I will remember this stay for a long time. The hotel has a spa area on two floors. The lower level is free to access and features a light Finnish sauna, relaxation areas, a children's pool, and a large indoor pool that opens onto the outdoor area, allowing guests to enjoy the stunning natural landscape. Outside, there are loungers and a solarium. Access to the upper level is reserved for adults (without swimsuits, however, you can use the appropriate towels). Guests can relax in the various saunas, Turkish bath, and hydromassage pool, as well as enjoy the free events organized at set times (during the afternoon) by the staff. The variety of food available at both breakfast and dinner is certainly a plus, although, as an Italian, I would have preferred a greater focus on quality local products (e.g., mountain pasture, artisanal, locally sourced, etc.). I understand, however, that the clientele, almost all of whom are foreign, expects a luxury hotel in Italy to offer world-famous Italian specialties, even if they aren't locally sourced (think Gorgonzola or Parma ham). The room is comfortable, well-furnished, and, especially on the upper floors, offers an excellent panoramic view. The duvet keeps you very warm (even too warm). The only detail (but I'm just nitpicking), in my opinion, is the location of the bidet, as a grown man bangs his knee on the wall. The hotel also has a bar, with live music on certain evenings, and a kids' lounge. The price per night is decidedly high, and the offer is therefore aimed at a niche of wealthy guests, but if you can afford it, don't miss this opportunity!

+ A beautiful, family-run, modern hotel. We were able to spend a week hiking in this magnificent area in October 2022. We traveled with our dog. Since it was our first vacation together as a family of three, we were a little unsure about how he would behave in the new surroundings. We discussed this with the hotel beforehand. Everyone there was incredibly accommodating and helpful. They specially set the table for us in the living room so that the dog didn't have to stay alone in the room but could come along. The family also checked in every evening to see if everything was okay. We felt truly welcome. Highly recommended, WE WOULD HAPPY TO GO AGAIN. :-)

+ Hotel complex (10/10) Very well organized, everything new/well maintained, and the smell everywhere is super relaxing. Even with a dog, everything was no problem, and the dog was very welcome. Service (10/10) Absolutely world-class service that is far ahead of other European countries and can keep up with top service locations like Dubai and Abu Dhabi. You get the feeling that everything is possible and can be done; nothing is a problem. Most importantly, the friendliness and willingness seem genuine. I'm not easily impressed and have virtually no high expectations of service quality in Europe, because it's almost always poor, but the service here was first-class. Breakfast (8/10) Extremely wide variety, which is surprising. The orange juicer and the vegetable/fruit juicer are very strong. A few special items on the menu would be nice. The coffee from the portafilter machine is really strong, very full-bodied, and tastes good; unfortunately, we didn't always get it, and sometimes we got coffee from the regular machine, which isn't comparable for coffee connoisseurs. Dinner (10/10) Set menu with salad bar that leaves nothing to be desired. Location (6/10) You may be in the mountains, but the hotel is practically above the valley town of Brixen, which means you always have a view. My idea was to walk out of the hotel and be in the countryside, but unfortunately, it's not that easy; you have to cross several streets and walk through the villages. However, there's a great forest path nearby that we walked twice with the dog, and it was super quiet, relaxing, and highly recommended. Room (7/10) Everything was great, super new. The mattress, pillows, and blankets were high quality. The only minor drawback was that there was no liquid soap in the bathroom. The biggest problem is that there seems to be no air conditioning—at least we couldn't cool the room down, and there doesn't seem to be any fan/blower system that could bring in cooled air. Certainly not a problem in winter (we slept with the window open in March), but I wouldn't book the hotel in summer. Spa (10/10) There's a nudist and a non-nudist area. Both areas are great. WiFi (10/10) Super easy without a password and always good speed. Value for Money Despite the great offerings and service, I think the price is quite high for the location. I can definitely recommend it for winter!

+ Santre is the ultimate wellness experience. They offer you reasonable priced luxus with a closeness touch. The place itself is absolutely tasteful, elegant and modern, but they don't forget their roots. In Santre you can feel the south Tyrolean spirit in their food, in their drinks and, of course, in the marvelous landscape surrounding the hotel. We came for couple holidays and stayed in the basic room, which had nothing of basic. It was really spacious and charmingly decorated, with a nice balcony with beautiful views and kind of a "private" reading spot. The spa offered all kind of treatments: saunas (one of them with impressive views), an internal/external infinity pool, an external jacuzzi... All of it divided into 2 zones, one of them +16, leaving also space for the kids in the other part. The food was really good, amount and variety. We had halfboard and, together with the generous breakfast buffet, there was a three option dinner (with possibility of changing some of the plates) with creative and tasty food. In all of it many regional products and really fresh. Another hot spot of Santre is the daily offering of scheduled activities, seasonally oriented, like hiking, visits, yoga, different spa treatments, piano bar... I just can say that it was an amazing experience that I would like to repeat.

The spectacular view over Bressanone is exceptional. You can enjoy it from the rooms, the restaurant, and the spa area. There was nothing more beautiful than enjoying the view from the jacuzzi or the infinity pool and soaking in the fresh mountain air. The spa area is large, and there were "events" with infusions in the sauna and scrubs. The team is friendly and accommodating. All in all, it was a place with a lot of heart and taste. + From the moment you enter the hotel, you'll experience a wonderful atmosphere. Check-in was super easy and seamless, and our luggage was brought to our room. The room, or rather the Garden Suite we booked, had everything our heart could desire. Bathrobes for the spa area, tea/coffee, a refrigerator with snacks and drinks, and even a private wine refrigerator. The absolute highlight was the private whirlpool on the terrace and the private sauna. From the adjacent garden to the terrace, we could enjoy the view of the illuminated city of Brixen in the evening, and this was also possible from the terrace in the bar. The bar's fireplace was inviting, and on the terrace there were blankets and a fire bowl for the chilly ones among us to warm up. The restaurant offers a variety of menus, with something for every taste – even I, as a vegetarian, had no problem finding something. The food was artistically presented and delicious, including a salad buffet. The breakfast was lavishly presented, with fruit, cold cuts, cheese, milk, cereal, and more. With such a huge selection, I couldn't decide where to start. The communal spa area was a great place to relax and unwind. Even those who prefer to sauna in swimwear will find their money's worth. + We decided to spend a week's vacation in the Dolomites. Our stay was at the Santre Dolomythic Home. Near Bressanone, the Funes Valley, and the Puez-Odle Nature Park, it's a perfect location. As soon as you enter the room, you'll feel this modern, rustic style and a distinct cleanliness. This is very important. There's a gym, though small, but I must say it's quite well-equipped with machines. The spa area, also very well-maintained, offers a breathtaking view. The point I want to focus on most is the food. The dishes, besides being beautiful in appearance, are truly delicious. The very young chef, 26, has remarkable creativity in flavors. Above all, I dare say the meat and fish are cooked to perfection. The staff is excellent, young, and very courteous. I highly recommend this little corner of paradise. These young people deserve all our trust, just like the owners and staff. Very modest. I hope this atmosphere, this spirit, remains the same over time.

Thanks to the world's best experience guide, Alex Kantioler, we had a fantastic time. The guided hikes and bike tours were excellent! The rooms are very tastefully furnished. I find the bathtub and sink in the bedroom rather inappropriate, but that's a matter of taste. Our room was on the 4th floor below the restaurant (kitchen), and we could hear the noises from that area in the morning and at night. Unfortunately, it wasn't ideal for a restful sleep. Since dogs are allowed in the hotel and obviously sleep or lie on the seating (rooms), I recommend cleaning the upholstered furniture more often. The morning breakfast was particularly delicious and left nothing to be desired in terms of culinary delights. Dinner is just as fantastic! Unfortunately, the wine refills didn't always work out ;) We had a wonderful time and would gladly come back.

+ The architecture and interior of the Santre are simply stunning. You can feel the attention to detail. From the reception to the bar, the restaurant, and the spa area, you have an incredible view of Bressanone and the surrounding area. The rooms are very spacious, modern, comfortable, and well-designed (including a walk-in closet). You can simply feel at home here. We particularly liked the (nudist) wellness area, where we spent some quiet time despite the hotel being at full capacity, and the restaurant area. The interior is beautiful, and the cozy seating areas invite you to linger. For dinner, you can choose from various menus, and the wine selection and the staff's advice are simply top-notch! The portion sizes could be significantly larger. Unfortunately, no second helpings were offered, so we had to help ourselves to a bit more from the salad buffet on the second evening to feel full. When the weather is good, breakfast and dinner can also be enjoyed on the beautiful terrace. Here, you can end the day wonderfully and enjoy a good dinner with a view of Bressanone. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful. However, the restaurant still has room for improvement when it comes to refilling wine ;-) The hotel is run by the three brothers Andy, Alex, and Christian, who have fulfilled their dream of running this hotel. Mom Sigi and dad Albin are also integral members of the team and give the hotel a family atmosphere. We'd love to come back!

+ The previous reviews really don't promise too much. The Santre is a brand-new and beautiful hotel, perfectly located directly on the mountainside below St. Andrä. I've rarely experienced such friendly and welcoming staff as here. From the stylishly furnished rooms to the absolutely first-class spa area to the exquisite dinner and generous breakfast, nothing was left to be desired. As a guest, you could completely switch off and simply sit back and enjoy your days at the hotel. Every now and then, you'd see one of the owners, who occasionally even indulges in a quick chat with guests. You can feel that the whole family lives and breathes the hospitality industry. Our visit was unforgettable, and we're already looking forward to the next one, because it was almost certainly not our last stay at the Santre!

+ After our holiday in Italy, we wanted to relax for a few days in a spa hotel on our way back to Germany. While searching for a suitable spa hotel, we came across the Santre in Brixen (South Tyrol). It was not only on our route but also immediately appealed to us. Upon arrival, we were instantly impressed by the breathtaking mountain views. Since the hotel only opened in May 2022, everything is brand new. All the rooms have large windows with fantastic mountain views. Waking up in the morning feels like waking up in the clouds. The rooms are very modern and practically furnished. We can't even say what we liked best about the rooms – the walk-in closet, the large shower, the view, the relaxation lounge by the window, or the very comfortable beds. There was a huge selection at breakfast, so there really was something for everyone. The highlight was the juicer, where you could juice fruits and vegetables to your heart's content. For dinner, there are three five-course menus offered every evening, from which you can choose or combine the individual courses as you wish. After dinner, we always strolled from the dining room to Bar 67. Here you can enjoy delicious cocktails, wines, and other drinks while playing a game of billiards or chess, or simply chatting with the owners. During the day, we always spent time in the spa area. It's beautifully designed and not overcrowded. It was a truly relaxing and rejuvenating place. What we liked best was the hotel's overall concept. It's a genuine family business. The hotel belongs to the family and is run by three brothers (hence the "tre" in Santre), who are on-site every day to look after the guests. Andreas and Alex were always happy to help with wine selection or even clear the tables. The brothers' logo is elegantly integrated throughout the entire hotel. The hotel, the entire decor, and the concept are very modern and well-thought-out. You immediately notice that the family is experienced in the hotel business. We think the wine refrigerator in the room is a great idea—a plus, in any case. The spa area is also stylish and cozy, with lots of glass but also very open. The hotel offers various activities (some for a fee)—a nice selection (e.g., wine tasting, hikes, kickboxing, yoga). The owner family is always out and about in the hotel and personally looks after guests. The bartender, Peter, has truly learned his trade. The breakfast and dinner are top-notch and impressive. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Compared to other hotels in this category, the service and reception may lack a bit of experience. This in no way detracts from the very positive impression—especially since the hotel only recently opened. A great hotel in a beautiful region.

A huge compliment to the Goller family for what they've created here. You immediately feel at home, are warmly welcomed, and this friendliness, almost familial atmosphere, remained throughout our stay. We were thoroughly pampered by a young, dynamic team who enjoy their work, and it shows. The kitchen deserves special mention, where in the evening you can choose between a "Vegan & Healthy" and a "Dining Experience" menu; there's something for everyone. The whole experience is rounded off by an excellent wine list. Children are also very welcome, whether in the restaurant (with its own small, fine-dining menu), in the wellness area with a children's pool, or in the bar area with a playroom. + I thought long and hard about my rating. Please don't misunderstand me for giving this "ONLY" 3 stars. However, there's still room for improvement, even though we were able to clarify a few things later on. The hotel only opened in May 2022, so of course a lot of things aren't running smoothly yet, but the will is there, and that will surely change. The hotel is very chic and attractively furnished. The staff is always very friendly and helpful, interesting activities are offered daily, and you can also borrow e-bikes free of charge. There are plenty of parking spaces, and they're also secure. We had a room with a terrace and a lawn in front, which was really lovely. It's very sad that our dog isn't even allowed to lie or play on the lawn. The pool area is very nice and well-maintained, especially the natural pool, which is an absolute highlight. There is service at the pool, but for a hotel of this class, I expect the option to call staff via an app or buzzer, rather than waiting for someone to drop by. The sauna area is also perfect for relaxing. The restaurant makes an effort and offers very good quality food, but there is definitely room for improvement. I won't go into detail here, as we resolved this to our satisfaction afterwards. My advice to vegans: yes, there is a lot on offer here, but it's better to clarify your wishes in advance so that everything is to your satisfaction and you can enjoy your vacation. The surroundings are beautiful, especially on the Plose. I am certain that the Goller family has created a wonderfully beautiful place to relax and enjoy yourself, and I can only recommend the hotel, provided the points mentioned are corrected, which I am sure will happen. We would definitely come again.

We highly recommend our spa treatments, especially the massages. However, in our opinion, the hotel still lacks a clear concept (mass vs. exclusive), and the value for money isn't right either. Many things seem uncoordinated, and the service staff, while dedicated and friendly, are very inexperienced and at times seemed helpless. The cleaning service was very early and a bit intrusive if you wanted to relax in your room after breakfast. Unfortunately, sleeping in wasn't possible; we had a room on the fourth floor, with the restaurant directly above. Overall, everything is very noisy, and tables were sometimes being moved around as early as 7:00 a.m. Room service could also be more thorough in this price range; we unfortunately found hair in our bed upon arrival. As already mentioned, the location and appearance of the hotel are very nice, but the overall package wasn't right for us.

The spa and related services are top-notch; we really appreciated the adults-only area. For those without children, it's wonderful to be able to relax in complete tranquility. Breakfast is plentiful and high-quality, and dinner offers a sophisticated and high-end selection, as does the wine list. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and the spa staff are truly professional. My only complaint, which is meant to be constructive and not a criticism, is that the dining room staff are sometimes uncoordinated during service. However, I realize that the hotel has only recently opened and there's time to refine some details. Congratulations to the three very young owners. They're doing a truly excellent job, along with their mostly young staff. It's truly wonderful to see such a close-knit team offering such a high level of service. + A truly beautiful, architecturally stunning, and modern hotel that exudes a sense of tranquility from the moment you arrive. The entire complex is impeccably clean and furnished with high-quality materials—no expense has been spared. All the staff are incredibly warm and friendly; you immediately feel right at home. A special thank you to the service staff: Sonja, Jakob, and Frederica. Breakfast and dinner were a delight every day, and every wish was catered for. The food was consistently excellent and sensational, as was the case here, along with a vast wine selection and the wonderful sommelier, Andreas. The spa area is very pleasantly designed, and even when the hotel is fully booked, as it was during our stay, guests are well distributed, and it never feels overcrowded. However, it would be nice if more attention were paid to ensuring that children, especially older children (over 9 years old), don't jump from the edge of the incredibly beautiful infinity pool with massage jets and engage in water games—this is quite disruptive to relaxation. ... There's a separate area for small children, complete with a children's pool. There's also an "Adults Only" area with its own whirlpool, but unfortunately, we were surprised to find that it's only for nude sunbathing. So, if you're not a fan of nudism but still want to relax in the adults-only area, this isn't ideal. Despite everything, a small but significant disappointment remains. We specifically booked the "Honeymoon Package" directly on the hotel's website. Upon arrival, however, we were informed that we hadn't booked the services described in the package on the website, even though there was no other booking option. After several conversations with the very helpful receptionists, we were told that they, as well as the head of reception, had also noticed the error on the website and couldn't explain how it had occurred—since our booking had been processed correctly. We were more than disappointed that the head of reception wouldn't even engage in a personal conversation but instead had it relayed through reception that he didn't actually acknowledge the error and that we could gladly pay an additional €285.00 to receive the services. The complete lack of cooperation from the hotel regarding a booking error on their part, which was admitted by both staff and the manager, was very surprising and disappointing. We weren't at all looking for free services (even though we had supposedly booked this package with the aforementioned services), but rather for a gesture from the host, given that he admitted his mistake and acknowledged that we had, after all, spent a shortened version of our honeymoon there.

+ Wonderful all around! We stayed four nights with halfboard, found it to be everything that we need in a spa and wellness vacation and immediately booked another stay in June. Stunning panoramic views. Stylish and modern with well thought out details. High quality furnishings. Relaxing atmosphere that cultivates peace and rejuvenation. Saunas, pools and gym were A+. Massages good. Dining was delicious with great variety. And as we regularly enjoy Michelin star, bib gourmand and Michelin plate recommended restaurants, we found the food very satisfying :). 5 course dinners were high quality with an amazing salad bar. Flexibility for intolerances and allergies. Breakfast has plenty of healthy choices— you can juice carrots, apples, oranges, ginger and celery. Eggs made to order. Rotating fresh assortment of fruit. Many different, delicious, flaky croissants and pastries to choose from. Incredibly friendly staff. Lots of interaction with the family that owns the hotel— everyone is very involved and invested in the guest‘s experience. Lots of activities through the hotel. We went on a hike with transportation, parking, and guide provided. Daily Plose gondola lift and bus rides also included. Really couldn’t ask for more at a totally fair price. We can’t wait to go back :).
