We recently stayed at this beautiful property for our holiday in Alpe di Siusi. I can only confirm the excellent reviews.... modern facility, equipped with every comfort and above all very well-kept and clean.... FOOD: menu that changes daily and with medium-high quality cuisine, 5-course dinner (extensive vegetable buffet), two choices of appetizers, a first course, two choices of second courses and dessert (and either fruit or a selection of cheeses). 4-star breakfast, with a wide selection of sweet and savory dishes and local products... ROOMS: maximum comfort and impeccable cleanliness: beautiful wellness center, with indoor heated pool, relaxation area with 2 saunas, Turkish bath and space to rest... the view is spectacular and evocative because the property directly overlooks the Sassolungo and Sassopiatto complex... STAFF: definitely applauded, truly compliments to the service staff who literally pamper you always with a smile and maximum attention... truly a plus!!! An experience to absolutely repeat!! The hotel is located in a splendid setting, far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. A little gem in a wonderful place, well-managed, with friendly and professional staff, attentive to their guests' needs. It can only be reached via a road closed to traffic from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, making it even more special. Once you arrive, you can forget about your car.
The food is excellent; compliments to the chef.
Many trails start directly from the hotel, allowing you to visit new places every day. Truly a little gem nestled in the Alpe di Siusi. Congratulations.

I'll try to keep it as concise as possible:
I gave the service five stars because: 1) it's the only hotel that allows you to bring your four-legged friends; 2) the restaurant service is excellent, but more for the quality of the food than for the staff (especially if you ask for lunch); 3) the chairlift ticket purchase service is excellent; 4) the only service I slightly underestimated was the pool, where the water, although clean, was very, very cold. But that doesn't mean I'll lower the stars. Just because they accept dogs, and I assure you they're among the few, if not the only ones, that's a lot; 5) the garage is also equipped with electric chargers.
The plus is the location: close to the bus stop, in a quiet area, and above all, from there, there are many routes starting.
As I said, the problem I encountered in the hotel was the soundproofing; we could hear everything and everyone. And a bit of aesthetics and functionality: it was a rather cramped triple room with an inefficient shower. The cleanliness of the rooms could be improved, and it would be nice if the garden outside the first-floor rooms were trimmed like the one at the entrance, as it attracted a lot of animals.
As with any place that isn't home, there are pros and cons. In any case, the location and the amenities offered are worth the stay, in my opinion, and we'll definitely return, making sure we don't get the same room again.

Located in a location that doesn't need to be said because the Alpe di Siusi is a wonderful place, we limit ourselves to reviewing the places where you stay. The Hotel Brunelle is a hotel with a crazy view in front of Sasso Piatto and Sasso Lungo, convenient for services because it is attached to the bus and chairlift but still a little outside the center of tourist arrival above the mountain pasture, the hotel guarantees its guests tranquility, spotlessly clean rooms, excellent cuisine, and a huge spa. My wife and I returned for the second time and will return next year too. Highly recommended.

Honestly, for this type of hotel, I expected more customer service and cleaner rooms. I travel to Alto Adige twice a year, and at this price, guests should feel 110% pampered, which unfortunately wasn't the case. Where do I begin? The room cleaning was decent, the bare minimum, in short. At dinner, the waitresses take your plate away if you get up to look after the baby or go to the buffet. It happened more than once. The young, dark-haired waitress pretends to understand you, answers "yes," but then does the opposite of what you asked, and when I point it out, she pretends not to notice again. Dinner was very slow; I had to ask them to speed up almost every night. Overall, I was disappointed, and I'm disappointed because the location and the building are very beautiful.

The hotel is spacious, the staff incredibly friendly and discreetly working behind the scenes (our room was always ready after breakfast). The food is good and offers plenty of variety. Anyone who finds fault here is doing so at the highest level. The only downside is the rather steep drink prices (glass of beer €6.40, 1 liter of tap water €3.20, bottle of wine from around €30). The fantastic, brand-new wellness area deserves special mention, with a sauna offering views of the Langkofel and Plattkofel mountains – sauna bathing couldn't be more beautiful. We would gladly return anytime.

This was our second winter holiday at the Hotel Brunelle on the Seiser Alm. Just like the first time, we were thrilled by the family atmosphere the hotel exudes. I don't want to say much about the fantastic location; pictures speak more than a thousand words.
Bettina and Markus and the entire crew, whether at the reception, bar, restaurant, or even in the truly outstanding kitchen, do everything to offer their guests a perfect holiday.
After winter sports, which I also include winter hiking in, there's nothing better than relaxing in the truly perfect spa with its large swimming pool and everything your heart desires.
Our next holiday on the Seiser Alm will definitely be at the Hotel Brunelle, but this time in the summer. A challenging hiking and mountain biking area awaits us then.

We spent a week at the Brunelle with our family.
The reception on the day of arrival was questionable: no welcome, no questions about arrival, we were given our room cards, and that was it. We've never experienced anything like this in this price range, and we travel a lot.
I would have expected at least a brief explanation of where to find things, how to choose a table in the restaurant, and what the other customs are. Later, we saw that we were checked in by the hotel owner, which was all the more embarrassing. She also handled our checkout. We weren't asked if we enjoyed our stay or if everything was okay, nor was our wish for a safe journey home mentioned.
Our rooms were large, with a spacious wardrobe and a seating area. The bathroom was equally spacious, but the lighting left something to be desired, especially in the mirror area.
We enjoyed breakfast and dinner; if you can't find anything suitable, you should ask for the alternative menu, which is only available upon request.
The staff was exceptionally friendly, except for the owner.
We felt that a few more staff members could have helped defuse the situation.
The location was very good, very close to the elevator.

A very nice, not-too-large hotel with direct access to the ski area. The furnishings are modern and attractive, with lots of light wood. The rooms are relatively large and have a nice bathroom with a separate toilet. In this respect, the reality also reflects what is shown on the website.
The staff is exceptionally friendly (Klara is a gem!), and the service is very good. In the morning, there is a varied breakfast buffet with fresh fruit, smoothies, muesli, yogurt, ham, cold cuts and cheese, salmon, and much more. There are always three or four different types of bread and rolls on offer – always fresh, of course.
The evening cuisine is also upscale (and delicious), but not overly pretentious. The wine prices are extremely fair.
In bad weather, however, the options for activities in the area around the hotel are very limited, if not nonexistent. However, this isn't the hotel's fault. You are only allowed to drive to or leave the hotel by car before 10:00 a.m. and after 5:00 p.m., except on arrival and departure days.
The wellness area is very nice! There are two saunas and a steam bath, as well as a relatively large swimming pool, which is spatially and acoustically separated from the sauna area. Only the "fitness room" deserves criticism. This windowless room is always deserted, and for good reason.

The family-run hotel is very well-maintained, clean, and romantically located. The service is outstanding, as is the breakfast buffet and the evening menu. You can clearly see that the chefs enjoy and are passionate about their work. The pool and wellness area with views of the mountains is fascinating and very relaxing after long days of skiing. The Brunelle is highly recommended; the staff are very friendly, and the owners are hands-on in every aspect of the hotel.

A fantastic hotel surrounded by a fantastic mountain landscape. The excellent food is particularly worth mentioning. But why not 5 stars?
- Despite the warmth of the service staff, we unfortunately didn't perceive the hosts as such. For example, at check-out, the hosts didn't ask us how we enjoyed our stay or if everything was okay. Even a "we look forward to seeing you again" didn't come. A real shame.
- The evening meal times from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. are, in our opinion, consistent and standard. However, the courses are served at a very rapid pace, so that after 9:00 p.m., you feel like you have to leave the dining room.
- We were charged €1 per kw to charge our electric car. Despite rising electricity prices, this is too high. We had recently stayed at a 5-star hotel in Austria, where one kw cost 0.30 cents. The higher electricity prices in Italy compared to Austria don't justify the difference. The cost per kw at nearby motorway rest stops is a maximum of €0.46. It's perfectly fine for a hotel to add a little extra, but €1 per kw is tantamount to a lucrative business model.
All in all, we really enjoyed it, albeit with a few drawbacks.

Then head to the Brunelle!
A fantastic alpine hotel with stunning views of the Seiser Alm mountains. Located directly in front of the Sassolungo and Sassopiatto mountains, you're away from the crowded Compatsch area and can truly relax.
All the staff were super friendly, accommodating, and welcoming. We felt welcome and at home. The cleanliness was impeccable; the rooms (205 & 215) were spacious and equipped with all the essentials. The pool and wellness area were also wonderful, and the cleanliness was also impeccable. Some lamps will surely be replaced during the next maintenance check, so everything can shine in its full glory again. The restaurant is beautifully and elegantly decorated; we would have appreciated just a little background music. The breakfast dishes left nothing to be desired; freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices could be prepared, as well as egg dishes. Dinner (half board) was perfectly fine and beautifully presented. The service was attentive and courteous at all times, small requests were always fulfilled, and we were able to relax.
Dear team at the Brunelle Seiser Alm Lodge, we would love to come back, as you showed us what true hospitality means during our unfortunately very short stay.

We spent a wonderful holiday in a beautiful property. The hotel's location, the view from the room and the saunas are truly splendid. A haven of tranquility and peace. The prices are quite high (in line with others in the area), but the services offered are up to par: good food, beautiful common areas, friendly owners and staff, lovely wellness area, everything new, well-maintained, and functional, like the garage and
personal lockers for skis and boots. It's not on the slopes, but just a short walk from them (about 200 meters), making the return journey a bit more challenging. I hope to return soon.

We stayed in early September 2022. Location: 9. Hotel: 9. Spa area: Up to par, restaurant: Good, staff: Average helpfulness and friendliness. Two things are quite jarring: 1. Upon our arrival at 10:05 a.m. after a nearly 5-hour drive, the owner was present at reception and kindly offered us a coffee. We accepted it and went to the breakfast area, where we were "kindly" removed by the manager because the breakfast room closes at 10 a.m. The owner herself brought our coffee to the tables outside the bar, and in the evening we found them charged (€1.50 each). 2. Receiving a jug of untreated tap water at dinner and being charged €3 each time seems decidedly excessive and inappropriate. For the rest, congratulations again.

Partially renovated hotel (lobby and rooms on the second floor) in a beautiful, quiet location overlooking Sasso Piatto and Sasso Lungo, ideal for hiking.
The food is not up to par with a four-star hotel. Breakfast is good, but lacks decent desserts. Dinner focuses more on aesthetics than on the quality of the ingredients and the choice of recipes. Even the Tyrolean dinner wasn't up to par with any of the mountain huts I've tried for lunch during hikes.
The owner at the reception isn't particularly courteous. Despite being called a Silence Hotel, unfortunately, the disturbance from the children in the dining room and at the pool isn't up to expectations, but rather the fault of the parents, who let them. The Brunelle suite is very nice on the ground floor (but the shower is visible to everyone and at the entrance to the room), while the room on the upper floor has a small window and is therefore dark, and the bathroom, also on the same floor, doesn't have a bidet.
Overall, a good hotel, especially for the location and without any particular expectations of a four-star hotel.

Unfortunately, the Brunelle didn't impress us as much as the other reviewers here.
The hotel's location is without question top-notch! The standard of amenities is also good
(apart from the fitness center, which shouldn't really be called that). The rooms and grounds are kept clean.
In summary, however, the service in the restaurant and bar, as well as the hospitality, were particularly disappointing for us. The hotel is more on the level of a lower 3-star hotel. The expectations created by the promotional photos (e.g., menu/buffet) were not met.
The staff is helpful and not unfriendly, but untrained, understaffed, overwhelmed, and seemingly chaotic.
The following points particularly bothered us:
- No interaction with guests (neither from the owners nor the staff)
- It seems as if they want guests out as quickly as possible while eating or at the bar.
No foresight (empty buffet, no signage for the buffet, and no information about it, tables not cleared, cutlery missing even though plates are on the table, etc.)
- Tight dinner time window: you have to be at the table by 8:00 PM at the latest
- It's not possible to eat outside
- You are not served on the terrace
- At checkout (by the owners), we were not personally asked how we found our stay. We had planned to give this feedback in person, but this was the last straw for us. Especially since we received the online feedback form a few hours later.

I received a weekend at this hotel for my birthday: WONDERFUL! The scenery is breathtaking, the view from the terrace is breathtaking, the room is beautiful, and the spa area is incredible, with several relaxation areas and a panoramic sauna with a breathtaking view. The breakfasts and dinners are delicious, with some special treats, including honeycomb for breakfast and a juicer with fresh fruit and vegetables. If I may say so: it would be perfect to add afternoon snacks, so we could have a 3/4 board, allowing us to eat practically all our meals on site. This would be incredibly convenient, especially for weekly stays.
Last but not least: this hotel is dog-friendly, which is a must for us since, especially in the mountains, we always bring our dog with us. We'll definitely be back!

We were there in the summer and had a room in the basement, which had the advantage of being directly on the lawn. You can also quickly get outside in the evening for any photo projects.
The view of the Plattkofel and Sassolungo is truly breathtaking. You can't get enough of the view. Truly very beautiful. Another great advantage of the hotel is that you can see both mountains very clearly.
It's close to the chairlift and a bus station. And if you want to walk up the mountain yourself, that's no problem either.
The room and service were good, the food very tasty. It was also nice that the owners were always present and helped with the service.
We'd love to come back!

This year was our first winter holiday at the Hotel Brunelle. Upon arrival, we received a very warm, family-like welcome. Any questions we had were immediately answered in a friendly and helpful manner. The rooms are lovingly and pleasantly furnished, making you feel immediately at home. The entire hotel also has a very stylish ambiance. Since we traveled with a dog and, for understandable reasons, couldn't take him into the dining room, a table was set up for us in the bar area. So, it wasn't a problem at all. The kitchen deserves a huge compliment. Words can hardly describe the food here. It was simply delicious, and you won't leave the table hungry, even after skiing.
The rooms are also cleaned every day and always look the same as on the day you arrived. A huge thank you to the staff. So, without exaggeration, the price-performance ratio is absolutely spot on. We can only say, go there and have a wonderful holiday. Many thanks again to the entire team for a wonderful week.

The location, the Alpe di Siusi, is always more beautiful, especially during the less crowded months, and the hotel is well-kept, comfortable, and quiet. The staff is kind and attentive. Breakfast is a moment you'd want to linger indefinitely, and just the prospect of a nice walk compels you to leave the table. It's a bit pricey, as we know, and drinks are all extra. But wine aside, they're not overpriced. The pool with Turkish bath, sauna, and fitness area are clean and invite you to truly relax. There's even a quiet area! A week here with your family is definitely worth the expense. A great place.
