We stayed at this hotel for the first time in mid-November 2025, but certainly not the last!
From the very first minute, you feel completely at ease and welcome. The staff, everywhere you go, are truly exceptionally friendly and accommodating!
What immediately catches the eye is the attention to detail. The hotel is beautifully furnished and lovingly decorated.
The rooms are very well-maintained, cozy, and luxurious. The fireplace and the lighting accents in the room and bathroom are wonderful and invite you to dream and relax.
The spa area is enormous, very stylish, and relaxing. The highlight is the infinity pool on the stunning rooftop terrace.
A big compliment also goes to the kitchen, which spoiled us with its culinary delights. You can look forward to perfectly presented and very high-quality dishes. The breakfast buffet was just as delicious as everything else we enjoyed.
We did notice one small drawback... there are far too few loungers in the spa area, especially when there are many day spa guests. (There are more than enough loungers and cozy spots outdoors.)
We're already looking forward to our next stay!

The spa center is not too large, but still very usable. Only two points, the first quite significant in my opinion: the spa lacks sauna towels. There are small disposable foot towels. The strange thing is that everywhere in the spa there are special niches to put clean towels. My second point is the indoor pool, which I would leave a couple of degrees warmer. The rooftop pool, however, is excellent! WELL DONE!!!

Beautiful, spacious rooms, all clean and tidy. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast buffet and dinner are delicious and offer something for everyone.
The sauna area is relatively small. However, the bathrooms, especially the rooftop pool, are fantastic. All in all, highly recommended.

All in all, a very good hotel with mostly friendly staff. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, and the facilities give a high-quality impression. The food deserves special mention; both breakfast and dinner were excellent.
There are, however, a few minor points of criticism: Sauna towels weren't always replaced completely or promptly, and it's a bit of a shame that the spa doesn't open until around 11 a.m. on weekends or in bad weather, as this wastes valuable relaxation time.
What was truly disappointing, though, was that after our first round of excellent cocktails at the bar in the evening, we were completely ignored when we tried to order our second drink, even when we were standing right at the bar. After several attempts, we gave up in frustration and unfortunately had to end the evening without another drink.
It's a pity, because with a little more attention at the bar, the stay would have been absolutely perfect. Nevertheless, overall, a recommendable hotel with potential for some final fine-tuning in the service.

We were completely satisfied and can wholeheartedly recommend the hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly, the rooms were clean, and the spa area with a pool was very large and beautiful. The food was excellent, and the breakfast selection was more than ample.

It was a truly lovely stay!
The rooms are super nice and romantic, just as I wanted.
The infinity pool had a beautiful view and warm water and drink service.
The food was very good, including the 5-course menu in the morning, afternoon, and evening.
The only downside is the construction site nearby, which starts very early on weekdays, causing a lot of noise.
We received a free bus ticket from the hotel and were able to travel everywhere easily. Seiser Alm, Seceda, and Bolzano are easily accessible.

This was my second time here.
The very warm panoramic outdoor pool was absolutely fantastic. The salt cave. It's 3/4 board.
Here and there, you can tell that some areas are a bit worn, and a few minor repairs have been overlooked. The staff in the restaurant/bar aren't exactly the friendliest either.

I stayed here for 2 nights with my family (2 double rooms and a single).
The food was plentiful and good. As for cleanliness, given the price, I would have expected something more! Everything seems perfect, but if you look under the bed or run your finger over the radiators—especially in the corners—it's not!
A few details are also a shame. It really wouldn't take much:
1. There's no kettle in the room, along with a few tea bags or instant coffee;
2. There was only body lotion in the double room, and it wasn't replaced on the second day;
3. The remote control in our room (the one for the fake fireplace) seems to allow you to set a room temperature, but it doesn't respond: set to 23 degrees, it read 26 degrees, which was constant day and night (even the thermostat in the room didn't seem to work);
4. The first night we used one of the two glasses provided in the bathroom, which wasn't replaced;
5. We put the bathrobes in the laundry and only replaced one (I should add, however, that when we called the front desk, the other one was brought to us within five minutes).
Small things, but in a hotel of that standard and price, they're a bit annoying. Too bad...

Highly recommended for a moment of pure relaxation. The panoramic, heated pool on the top floor is stunning. The sauna program is superb, and the private spa, available upon reservation, features a whirlpool and Turkish bath, making your day even more enjoyable. Personally, I didn't fully appreciate the afternoon snack (included in the price). The kitchen closed at 1:30 PM, so we couldn't order anything in time. We'll be back!

I recommend staying for a few nights; given the prices and what's on offer, I don't think it's worth spending an entire vacation here.
The staff is friendly, but I notice differences in treatment between those who speak German and those who don't.
There were almost no toiletries even though we had a superior room; the soap/shampoo in plastic bags might be fine for a B&B.
The food is quite good but repetitive; for the price, I'd recommend something else.

In general, the stay was OK with some pluses and minuses, however for the price (€350-400), the overall experience was lacking for a 4-star hotel compared to the other 4-star hotels we stayed at in the Dolomites (eg Arkadia Hotel in Corvara).
Pros:
- Very nice pool deck with a panorama pool and sauna on the top floor - probably the best feature of the hotel
- Wide range of saunas in the spa area
- The server working in the bar was pleasant
- Near the Marinzen gondola
Cons:
- Small rooms compared to other hotels; lacking a view (room looked out onto the ramp leading to the MPreis supermarket)
- No air condition in the rooms
- Poor quality of linen/cleaning - this was probably the biggest sticking point. There were holes in bedsheets for 3 of 4 changes during our 4-night stay, torn and tattered floor towels, and stains on towels. For a 4-star hotel, one would have expected more care to these details
- Lack of servers in the restaurant especially during dinner service meant that service often felt rushed and impersonal
In short - nice pool and spa amenities, but more can be done to improve the quality of the experience here.

This was our second time at the Abinea, once with the whole family for my mother's 60th birthday and once just the two of us (in a room with a whirlpool), and we highly recommend this hotel to everyone. In terms of value for money, I personally don't think I've found a comparable wellness hotel. The pasta, in particular, is amazing; I could eat it all over again.

A truly fantastic stay in a magnificent place. The food is excellent and the spa is fabulous.
Aspects to improve: water is served in a carafe for a fee of €3.50, which, frankly, isn't a good thing for the price I paid.
Furthermore, the lunch buffet lacks variety for those staying for several days.
The staff didn't give us a tour of the property and all its amenities upon our arrival.
With a few adjustments, it could reach 5 stars.

I went for a hat bath and massage and compared to other offers in the are was unimpressed.
The massage was also not very good in that she didn’t use enough pressure and when asked to give a more of a sport massage was not trained.
Centrally located for those in Castelrotto and receptionists were nice.

Incredible experience, highly recommend! We booked this hotel very last minute and arrived late, after reception closed. The staff there helped us get in touch with reception and get us checked in. They went above and beyond to accommodate us! Since we arrived late, they took the included dinner off our bill and gave us an extra day at the spa for free, without even asking. Great customer service! Drinks at the rooftop pool were the highlight. We loved the view. Food was incredible all around. Dinner was plated nicely and had great flavors. It felt like a luxury experience, and the spas and saunas made it a relaxed atmosphere.
It was a short walk to the neighboring town, which is very quaint and cute. It was a 15 minute drive to Orteisi where you can catch a cable car to scenic views of the Dolomites.
The only cons I could think of:
-There aren’t great views from the rooms. Ours faced a grocery store parking lot, which got a little noisy in the morning.
-You get a wellness bag with a limited amount of towels. There is no easy way to get fresh towels at the spa if you run out from your wellness bag, so we had to reuse the towels at times.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel. From the very first moment, we felt welcome and at home. The atmosphere among the guests was incredibly informal, which made the entire holiday special. The room was modern, spacious, and simply beautifully furnished—we immediately felt at home. A very beautiful property, with excellent services and excellent cuisine. We stayed in February 2025 and loved the indoor and outdoor pools, which, in person, are better than the photos on the website. They are larger, there's a counter-current system in the indoor pool, and the outdoor pool offers a beautiful view. The pool is warm, and you can order cocktails directly from the pool at reasonable prices. The rooms are very well-maintained, spacious, and feature a unique lighting system. The cuisine is fantastic, from breakfast to dinner: nothing is missing, and the quality is excellent. I should start by saying that we've stayed in several 4- and 5-star hotels in Trentino, but the Abinea is one of the best. The spa is also truly excellent: meticulously designed, with a wide variety of saunas and well-designed rooms and spaces.

Great wellness hotel with the option of activities. We had the 3/4 board option. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. You can get a snack at lunchtime. They offered soup and a selection of cold cuts and cheeses, as well as delicious cakes. We particularly liked the panoramic pool on the roof of the hotel, which offers a fantastic view of the mountains. The staff was also very friendly and able to answer all our questions. The charging station for electric cars also works really well. You can start charging with your room card between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM. The cost is €0.60 per kw.
What we didn't like so much was that the room was almost impossible to ventilate. There was a fan in the bathroom, but it didn't work properly, although it was possible to do so by opening the balcony door. There was also an unpleasant odor coming from the pipes from time to time, but this wasn't always the case!
Overall, an absolute recommendation! Excellent value for money!

Abinea is a paradise in Castelrotto.
I spent three days in total relaxation thanks to the wonderful spa, the wonderful heated outdoor pool overlooking the Sciliar, and above all the kindness and professionalism of all the staff who run this magnificent place.
A heartfelt thank you for the surprise you left for me on the morning of my birthday—no hotel had ever done that before.
If I really had to find a flaw, I'd change the shower products.

Pure relaxation in a dreamlike setting!
Our stay at the Abinea Dolomiti Romantic SPA Hotel was thoroughly relaxing! The location is perfect for a relaxing holiday in the mountains, with beautiful views and great hiking opportunities in the surrounding area.
We were particularly impressed by the beautiful spa area – perfect for unwinding after an active day. The various saunas, the infinity whirlpool, and the relaxation room with mountain views are real highlights. The rooms are also very stylishly furnished and invite you to relax.
The breakfast was excellent, with a large selection of fresh and regional products. However, we would have preferred a bit more refinement and variety at dinner. It was okay, but not up to the standard we would have expected from a hotel of this class.
Nevertheless, the service was warm and attentive, and the hotel itself offers a dreamy atmosphere. If you're looking for relaxation in the Dolomites, this is definitely the place for you!

Abinea Dolomiti Romantic SPA it’s an Experience that it’s a must if you like to be spoiled. This hotel has everything you can imagine for a luxury mountain destination. Starting with an extraordinary SPA experience with all the facility and finish with an outstanding food. I can have enough words to describe the people courtesy and the hotel ambiance. Aspecting to taste a variety of seafood that you hardly find even in 5* hotels and to have an wonderful surprise with every meal. Experience from February 15 to 17, 2025:
The hotel is truly charming, with numerous wooden accents creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The reception is bright, and the staff was friendly and helpful.
I stayed in the Romantic room, featuring a round double bed, a fireplace, LED lights, and background music, creating a very relaxing atmosphere. The room was comfortable, with a memory foam bed that was comfortable but a bit firm. A 6cm topper would have solved the firmness issue. There were two pillows: one memory foam and one softer, perhaps synthetic down. The duvet was single and probably synthetic (heavy); in a 4-star hotel in Trentino, I expected a goose down duvet.
The cleanliness of the room and bathroom was excellent, as was the soundproofing. I slept really well.
The spa area offers a wide selection of saunas, a saltwater grotto (though for me it was just a saltwater pool, with no salt on the walls or elsewhere), and a heated indoor pool with a whirlpool. Children under 14 are not allowed in the spa, as are the rooftop pool and adjacent sauna.
The rooftop pool, with its hot water and whirlpool, was truly wonderful. The view is exceptional and incredibly relaxing, although it's a shame there was no snow, but that's certainly not the hotel's fault.
Breakfast offers a wide selection of sweet and savory options, as well as numerous drinks. The option of making your own smoothies was a real treat.
Unfortunately, snack time was the only sour note of the stay: there was very little choice, and when one item ran out, it wasn't refilled, but replaced with another. Occasionally, I was told that extra food wasn't prepared because it sometimes went unsold. Furthermore, still water is offered free of charge at breakfast, dinner, and in the spa areas (both in the basement and on the 5th floor), but not during afternoon snack time (from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM). The water was sold at an excessive price, considering it was tap water. This small detail, in a hotel of this type, detracts from the hotel's rating, especially considering the cost of the stay.
The dinner was excellent. The courses were numerous but well-balanced, allowing guests to finish the meal without feeling too full. Compliments to the chef.
The hotel staff was kind, helpful, cheerful, and professional. Compliments to everyone!
It was a truly relaxing two days.
The center of Castelrotto is very charming, with its bell tower and a walk that leads to the hill where the most remote settlement is located. From there, you can enjoy a fantastic view of the town, the valley, and the peaks of the Dolomites.
The Mobilcard, which allows free use of all public transportation in Trentino, is very convenient. We used it both in Bolzano and on our way to Ortisei.
The underground parking was very convenient, especially with the freezing temperatures and freezing nights.
In short, an excellent relaxing experience for body and mind, with quality food. Recommended!

We spent a wonderful vacation here from January 25, 2025, to February 2, 2025. The location is great; the bus stop is right in front of the hotel. The bus ride to the Seiser Alm ski area takes about 10 minutes.
We had the Garden Room, which was spacious and modernly furnished. Unfortunately, we didn't quite understand how to regulate the heating – the heating was off in the morning and evening, but during the day, when we weren't there, the radiators were running hot. The result – our swimwear and towels from the evening were still very damp in the morning.
The entire hotel is lovingly decorated, with many small details; everything seems very clean and well-maintained. We found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating.
The massages are highly recommended. The wellness area is truly beautiful. Unfortunately, more and more people are confusing the relaxation rooms with conference rooms; people talk loudly and even make phone calls.
``` And of course, as always, ALL loungers are diligently occupied and reserved, without the towel owners sitting on them even once.
The highlight: the pools – BOTH WARM! It's very rare for hotel pools to have such a pleasant temperature as the thermal baths. That was, of course, fantastic. The sky pool and the roof garden are truly beautiful, and on Saturdays we could even swim until 10:30 p.m.
The food was very good, although I have to say – if you don't particularly like fish and seafood, you'll have a tough time at the appetizer buffet :-) There were salads and fish, lots of fish :-)
The other dishes, however, were good, and I found something delicious on the menu every evening.

We visited this wellness center on a Sunday with the day spa package with breakfast. I couldn't fault the kindness and hospitality of the staff, both at reception and in the breakfast room. They were very knowledgeable and helpful.
As for the wellness center, it was meticulously maintained in every detail. Very well-maintained and clean. It's a shame that two of the hydromassage pool seats weren't working, and the spa staff was virtually absent.

A 4-star superior hotel. You pay a bit for a hotel of this category, perhaps too much for some, but for what you get, it's understandable. The rooms are top-notch, modern but with the warm, typical Tyrolean charm. All of them, from the simplest to the superior ones, are beautiful. Some have whirlpools and other amenities right in the room. Superb wellness services, various saunas, not too large, with a maximum of 8 people, while the panoramic one on the upper floor seats about 20 and has a mountain view. An interesting thing is that if you share the sauna with friends or even just your partner, it's unlikely anyone will come in and invade your privacy. On the upper floor, a beautiful outdoor pool with heated water overlooks the mountains, allowing you to admire the 360-degree panorama. It's beautiful even when it's snowing, captivating. There's also a swimming pool inside. There are private rooms where, by reservation, you can relax with your partner in total tranquility for 1 or 2 hours with a whirlpool and sauna for 2 people. What about massages and treatments? Maybe after a day on the slopes, you can relax with a massage from our expert staff who will pamper you. It's something you should try at least once in your life.

We stayed at the Abinea Dolomiti Romantic SPA Hotel in South Tyrol for three days, and it was a dream. We received a warm welcome with a glass of Prosecco. All the staff were very friendly. The hotel is very clean (including the public areas), the service is very good, and the food (breakfast, snacks, and dinner) is extensive and good. It would be ideal if the buffet selections were labeled (vegetarian or allergens) and if there were a clothes rack on the balconies.
Otherwise, a truly fantastic hotel with a good starting point for numerous hikes, a bus stop right outside the front door, and a fantastic wellness area. Contrary to many other reviews, we never had any trouble finding a spot. If you have the time, you should definitely treat yourself to a massage.
We also liked that this hotel is primarily adult-friendly and there were hardly any children in the hotel.

A true paradise in the Dolomites. We spent two fantastic days in this very clean spa equipped with every comfort. The room was wonderful, spotlessly clean, with a whirlpool tub and electric fireplace, overlooking the Dolomites.
The staff were extremely kind and helpful. I can only say that upon
my return, I couldn't find my engagement ring. I remembered I'd left it in my spa bag, and they took great care to keep me updated on everything. Luckily, my ring was found, and they took care of shipping it safely via private courier so I wouldn't lose it, all carefully packaged.
The breakfast was very generous, not to mention the dinner buffet, which filled us up with that alone, in addition to the menu we chose as soon as we arrived at the hotel... I highly recommend this and hope to return soon

Loved this place. All the way from registration to checking out, wonderful experience overall. Rooms were great. Came with balcony so you could sit out and enjoy the fresh air. Friendly staff. The garage is super tight parking so hope you can park in tight spots. I loved how you were assigned a seat in the dining room so you could come and sit down at your leisure without having to guess the good times to go. I had a younger gentleman. He was super nice, and had great English. He was a great and kind server which I appreciated. Another benefit was that you were provided a bus ticket which got you to most of the main hikes in the area so you didn’t need to worry about attempting to find parking. Kindness was shown by all staff. They made sure they went out of their way. Customer service at its finest. Great spa areas, and wonderful pool area.

Beyond all expectations, we stayed 5 nights in a ROMANTIC room. The background music, colored lights, and fireplace made everything even more relaxing. I've never seen such a spa in a 4-star hotel. The cuisine was top-notch, with a super-various and plentiful starter buffet. I'm a picky eater, but there wasn't a single dish I didn't try, and every evening I thought, "I've never eaten anything better." And every evening, you could choose both classic first and second courses to please everyone. The pool on the terrace is a real treat.

The hotel is very good with very nice staff. The food is also excellent. The only drawback is that the rooms are not air conditioned. You have to keep the balcony door open overnight otherwise it is unbearably hot in the room. That's not the problem either. Unfortunately it's not quiet outside at night. Vehicles, people and sometimes dogs driving past keep you from sleeping. It also gets light very early, you can't darken it because the door has to stay open because of the cool air. So be sure to take a sleeping mask or something similar with you.

The room we booked was a ROMANTIC, and it truly lived up to its name. It was very spacious, with lots of lights, some colored with the option of choosing the brightness, relaxing music, and a balcony. It also had an electric fireplace, TV, hairdryer, and everything you need. A wonderful smell lingered in the room, and I still remember it. The spa was excellent, clean, spacious, and equipped with every comfort, including various saunas, a Turkish bath, a salt cave with a whirlpool, and more. They offered herbal teas, fruit, dried fruit, and all kinds of tea. The water was warm, and the atmosphere was very quiet.
The gourmet food was of the highest quality, both in flavor and aesthetics. The dishes were generous, and you could choose whatever you wanted from the menu, depending on your tastes. You could choose between two first courses, two second courses, and two side dishes. If you don't like both, you could always choose something else, based on what's on offer. I can assure you that even the fussiest of eaters, or those with any kind of eating disorder, will surely find something they like. Furthermore, breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner begin with a superb buffet...
The restaurant is very elegant, the tables are professionally set, and the wine list is incredible...
We've been thinking about a negative for days, but we haven't found a single one... There's nothing wrong with this place, or anything I'd change... not even thinking about it for hours and hours... We've been to many places, many hotels, inns, restaurants, but this remains one of the best... I mean, think of one thing, and it's there... think of a criticism, and you'll never find one.
Even for parking, there's the option of parking in the garages, which then lead directly to the hotel... I've read some negative reviews, but I think they were from frustrated people... (No offense intended, though.)

We've stayed at this spa resort on several occasions; it's beautiful and welcoming, just steps from the center of Castelrotto. It's not the best you'll find, but it's a good compromise. The rooms are nicely decorated in wood, the spa area is good, and perhaps the only drawback is the small outdoor pool. Breakfast and dinner are very good, parking is convenient, and the staff are friendly. The price is reasonable; after seeing other similar properties, it's slightly above average. There are a few things that could be improved, but it's definitely worth a try!

My partner and I spent a day spa at Abinea. They offer many packages, and we booked the package with breakfast, day spa, and gourmet dinner, and we were very satisfied.
The parking lot isn't huge, but they helped us find a spot right away.
The day was great, and I absolutely recommend the place.
If I could offer constructive criticism, it would be the following:
- sauna areas are nudist-only.
- the changing rooms are small and don't have a shower inside; you have to go to the wellness area, which is a bit inconvenient.
Excellent food, as well as service.
The outdoor heated pool is definitely the highlight of the place.

A welcoming, intimate, and warm atmosphere, not the typical tourist crowd.
There are numerous saunas where you can relax, and two beautiful pools, one of which is on the terrace. The list could be long, but for those of us who are used to day spas, it's definitely a place we recommend.
For lunch, you can either use the bar or they offer a generous buffet from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM, which is sure to fill you up!
If we had to find any small drawbacks, which we hope will help them improve further, they'd be the lack of dedicated showers for everyone who wants to end the day at the spa. And the pool temperature isn't particularly warm compared to other spas.
Nothing that would make you say, "I won't go here," on the contrary. The prices are also absolutely average.

The hotel is located just a few meters from the center of Castelrotto. The wooden interiors, rooms, and dining room are beautiful. The spa is stunning, featuring numerous relaxation areas and saunas of all kinds. There are also two pools, one indoor and one outdoor, with panoramic views of both the bell tower and the mountain. The outdoor pool sometimes stays open until 10:30 PM. The breakfast was excellent, offering everything from sweet to savory. The afternoon snack was generous, as was the dinner buffet, which always included salads, a variety of cheeses, and cured meats. In my opinion, the dinner options could be improved; they were very good, but I would have expected a little more.
Special mention goes to the hotel's owners, who refunded the deposit already paid to a couple of our friends who, unfortunately, couldn't come at the last minute and stayed with us. You were truly kind, and this was greatly appreciated.
Plus, on the day of check-out, they let us use the spa for a few more hours.
Excellent service at the reception.
Thanks again, we'll definitely be back.

I went for a day spa with my girlfriend and included breakfast.
Strengths.
1) Food: Various gluten-free options for breakfast (with advance notice, they'll prepare pastries and cakes).
2) View: The pool and panoramic terrace offer a beautiful view of the Rosengarten.
Weaknesses.
1) Staff shortages in the spa area, often absent for long periods and without supervision: the sauna area is exclusively nudist, but it was packed with guests in swimsuits despite the prohibition signs.
2) Changing rooms. Only three cabins dedicated to all day spa guests, with no distinction between men and women, and most importantly, no shower area. When we asked, we were told to use the single shower inside the solarium (attached to the sunbed) or those inside the sauna area, which were still insufficient in number. It's unacceptable that a hotel of this caliber, offering these services, doesn't have a dedicated shower area for guests.

The staff was a bit rude, and there were no showers to wash up after the day spa: I find this absurd. They offer many different day spa packages, so I wouldn't say it's asking too much to be able to shower before dinner or when you get home.
You're not supposed to wear a swimsuit in the sauna area, as it's specifically nudist. There are signs everywhere, but people didn't respect them: it was still full of people in swimsuits. No staff member monitored compliance with this rule. I've stayed at several hotels with saunas in South Tyrol, and it was never allowed: hygiene isn't the best either.

The complex is beautiful, the service is great, the time was well-spent. It is full of various saunas, places to have a rest, to have a fresh drink and even a snack.

The food is good to very good, but not exceptional. The food often arrives cold.
The wine selection is really good.
The afternoon snack is very limited.
The spa area is really disappointing. Unfortunately, they also allow outside visitors in, so we almost never managed to get a lounger out of our 6 days. The already small area was extremely crowded, every day.
What's really bad is that only a fraction of the guests follow the sauna rules.
People sit in the sauna in their swimsuits, don't put their towels underneath, loud conversations seem to be common, and I find it particularly bad that cell phone use is taking place. Guests are obviously sitting with their cell phones in the sauna area.
I don't understand why the hotel staff checks compliance with the rules (which are posted everywhere, not least on appropriate signs) from time to time.
All in all, there are much better hotels for the money.
We won't be coming back.

The food in the evening was really great. We have rarely eaten so well in a hotel in the evening.
We were also able to borrow free climbing gear (and good ones) from the hotel. An absolute ++ point.
The only drawback, which is unfortunately negative for me personally, is that there are other buildings directly to the left and right of the hotel and that makes it really loud. As some have already written, we were on the M-price parking lot page.
Delivery is open every morning at 7:00 a.m. and until 7:00 p.m. in the evening. It's correspondingly restless on the balcony.
I would therefore recommend the hotel in winter because you can leave everything there and you won't notice anything from the outside. Since the rooms don't have air conditioning, it gets very warm in summer.
However, rooms are very clean and well maintained.

We also booked the decorated room with heart-shaped balloons, two glasses of sparkling wine, and rose petals, as well as the cozy package with two full-body massages, a bouquet of flowers, an Abinea blanket, and two glasses of sparkling wine. We had a romantic room with a great lighting and music concept, which was definitely worth the extra cost for us. We never noticed the supermarket deliveries, even though our room was also on that side. The room was very clean and nicely furnished.
The food is absolutely fantastic! There's a wide selection at breakfast, and the salad and antipasti buffet in the evening is also very varied. The evening menu was always perfectly coordinated with the different courses, featuring several regional and seasonal dishes. Everything was delicious, absolutely plentiful, and beautifully presented. We were able to enjoy seven different menus, and everything was very varied, partly because there was a grill buffet for the main course, sometimes the appetizer was prepared live at the buffet, or dessert was served from the buffet. So there was always plenty of variety.
The service was always very good, attentive, and very friendly. We especially want to mention Marlies, who served us dinner. She always took the time to ask about our day, drinks and food arrived super quickly, and overall, she's such a warm and welcoming person that she made dinner more enjoyable for us every day. We were always greeted and served in a friendly manner by the entire staff. Most of them speak German, but honestly, we're in Italy, so I don't mind having to communicate in English sometimes (although it was never necessary for us).
As part of a honeymoon package, we also had an hour in the private spa, a scrub, and a full-body massage. The massage, in particular, was fantastic. There's a huge selection of beauty treatments, really great!
The spa area is also fantastic. We only used the downstairs area once; there are many different saunas, a great relaxation area, and a lovely warm pool. We had fantastic weather at the end of September, so we were always in the Sky Pool and the Panorama Sauna. Both were fantastic, especially the drink service. Drinking a cocktail, sitting in the warm water, and enjoying a magnificent view—what more could you want?
For us, the value for money was definitely right. We chatted with some of the regulars, and we'll definitely be back!

Our room was right next to the M-Preis parking lot. Deliveries start every morning at 7:00 a.m. and are open until 7:00 p.m. Accordingly, it's noisy on the balcony.

The sauna and pool were great. Nothing to complain about.
The waiters and service staff were friendly, and we were able to communicate in German and English. However, there was sometimes a lack of staff, especially in the morning.
The food was okay, but I've experienced better hotel cuisine in South Tyrol in the same price range.
We will spend our vacation at a different hotel next year.

We spent four wonderful days here. The pre-ordered birthday surprise for my wife—a bouquet of red roses, two glasses of Prosecco, and the bed decorated with rose petals—was perfect. The wellness area was top-notch. The rooftop terrace with its infinity pool and various lounges was very nice. Unfortunately, there are a few lounge chairs, and what's completely missing is a lawned garden. It was a bit unusual that you had to get your coffee from the buffet yourself (perhaps we're a bit spoiled by other hotels). The breakfast buffet was plentiful, the afternoon snack with sweet and savory dishes was exceptional, and the dinner was delicious and varied. Highly recommended for a romantic short break.

And what can I say about the spa, which is truly above average? Large indoor and outdoor heated pools with truly fantastic bar service. The saunas are lovely, and above all, it's very clean.

We tried the Day Spa formula with massage, we really had a great time, the spa offers two pools, one indoor and one outdoor (beautiful terrace overlooking the Dolomites!), sauna, Turkish bath, hay bath and salt cave. The spaces are all very well-kept, we had the sports recovery massage, Silvia was excellent, congratulations for her professionalism and ability! Recommended, we will be back

We spent five wonderful days here.
The rooms were modernly furnished, as was the spacious bathroom. A generously packed spa bag was provided in the room, containing six bath towels, two bathrobes, and two pairs of slippers.
Breakfast and the five-course dinner left nothing to be desired. The cakes and pastries were especially delicious; a true master of their craft was at work. Top-notch. The same, of course, applies to the other dishes. The staff was very helpful and remarkably friendly. We also enjoyed exploring the surrounding area with various activities, such as visiting the Pfluge. The spa treatments with Petra were excellent and well worth the money. Thank you, Petra, and thank you to the Abinea team for five wonderful days of vacation.

There are two heated pools, one in the spa area and the other on the terrace. I also had a very nice relaxing massage. The snack buffet is readily available, and as soon as something ran out, it was replaced. Both sweet and savory options are available (drinks are not included). The atmosphere is very welcoming and well-maintained throughout. I noticed a lot of dedicated staff throughout the property, and we were able to park conveniently in the garage. I will definitely be back.

When you arrive they show and explain you everything. In one day you have enough time to explore the whole spa. The sky pool and sauna opens in the afternoon. In the early morning you can go into the swimming pool. It's very romantic. The sauna world is a unique place to chill and you will have a great time with your partner. In the early afternoon a snack was opened at. Buffet with desserts but also pasta for those who haven't had lunch. We chose this property for its proximity to the center of Castelrotto and for its attractive spa, and I must say it did not disappoint. The rooms are comfortable and well-soundproofed; the only complaint: the shower could use a nicer showerhead in addition to the handheld showerhead.
The cuisine is excellent: top-quality ingredients, carefully presented, and a good variety; the wine list is well-balanced. The only downside is the service: the number of waiters in the dining room was not adequate for the number of guests present, often resulting in long waits.
The spa is definitely interesting, with several saunas and relaxation areas; the rooftop with its infinity pool and panoramic Finnish sauna is intriguing; all the ingredients for truly relaxing moments, unfortunately let down by the exuberance of the guests, who perhaps could use some training in more appropriate behavior.

In the sauna area, where swimsuits are prohibited, almost everyone enters in their swimsuits anyway and often sits on the benches without a towel, leaving them soaked in sweat when they leave. Even at check-in, no one explains how to behave in the saunas.

The rooftop pool is fantastic, with a breathtaking view. Enjoying the sunset while soaking in the heated water was -4C outside. The relaxation area is beautiful and spacious, with several loungers where you can relax and enjoy excellent herbal teas. If you're in the area, I recommend stopping by for a relaxing afternoon. The price is super affordable.

This was our second stay at this hotel, and unfortunately, there have been some negative changes compared to our last stay.
Let's start with the spa, a wonderful place with little room for improvement, in my opinion. The pools, both indoor and especially the panoramic one, are also very beautiful!

Unfortunately, dinner was a major downside: since it was Sunday, we were warned there would be a "Gala Dinner," but unfortunately, there was very little "Gala." The food was absolutely not up to par for a hotel of this caliber, and the waitress's friendliness was completely absent. Every time she passed by, we heard constant complaints about the work and the guests, which really put us off sitting at the table...and even making us want to return!

The parking garage is very narrow; luckily, we didn't have an SUV, as parking would have been difficult.
The lady at reception was friendly.
The hotel feels very inviting and cozy.
We had the Romantic Room, which was beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches.
The breakfast was incredible—I've never experienced anything like it before. There was truly everything, and it was varied every day.
The restaurant staff was incredibly friendly; we have rarely been treated so well. They also gave us excellent advice on the wine selection.
There was a five-course menu every evening.
We rented the private spa, the Rasul bath. The room was nicely decorated. However, some defects became apparent: the water in the Jacuzzi was dirty, and the edge of the entry was broken, with shards of glass lying around. There was also mold in the corner by the shower.
We pointed it out and complained, and felt a bit cheated. As an apology, we received a plastic bottle with the Abinea logo. Nevertheless, it was a lovely afternoon. My massage afterward was very relaxing, thank you, Sylvia! My friend, unfortunately, had a less competent therapist; the massage was very unpleasant and somewhat shorter than we paid for.
The spa area is truly fantastic, as is the rooftop pool.

We stayed at the Abinea for 6 nights. The lady at the reception upon arrival was unfortunately not very professional. She didn't explain much about the hotel to us.
But that doesn't matter, as the hotel is very easy to navigate.
The underground parking garage is unfortunately very narrow.
The hotel rooms are very nice, but unfortunately, our room faced the supermarket, which was quite noisy even in the morning.
The outdoor pool also needs some improvements. The sliding glass door hadn't been cleaned in a long time and was completely cloudy, as was the skylight. And there were a lot of used glasses lying around.
The view is absolutely beautiful, though.
The dinner was very, very good, but unfortunately, one of the servers was very rude. They slammed our plates down on the table and didn't ask if we wanted anything else to drink. Even after complaining to the reception, things didn't improve.
As compensation, the receptionist promised us a free drink, which we never received, so it doesn't matter.
But what really annoys me... you pay a lot of money at this hotel, and unfortunately, I forgot something that was sent to me, and now I've received a request from the hotel for postage.
All in all, a nice hotel, but for the price, you really should expect more.
Unfortunately, we won't be coming back.

Super relaxed wellness area and not very crowded at the time and a large infinity pool on the roof with a view of the mountains. We stayed at the Abinea for 11 nights in June 2022 (2 adults, 2 toddlers). While there were many positive aspects, we unfortunately noticed several very unpleasant things that simply shouldn't happen at a hotel of this price level:
- Poor hygiene at the outdoor pool: the glass of the sliding door had obviously not been cleaned for weeks; it was already quite cloudy and milky. The same was true for the skylight leading to the top floor. It makes you wonder if and how these unseen areas are cleaned.
- We also noticed poor hygiene in the indoor spa area. For example, there were still used glasses from the previous day that no one had put away.
- The hotel staff regularly smoked heavily outside the children's playroom, and the smoke drifted through the window into the playroom where our children were. Very unpleasant and harmful to our young children's health. My older son complained, "Dad, it stinks in here." Absolutely unacceptable!
- We also noticed poor hygiene in the indoor spa area. - An awning on the terrace was hanging dangerously crooked; during a downpour, we were afraid that guests sitting underneath it would be crushed. A woman at reception excused this by saying that the hotel couldn't get any maintenance staff, as they were all too busy.
- The cuckoo clock in the dining room was wrong, and the wall clock in the spa area also displayed the wrong date. The hotel staff made no attempt to repair either of them.
- The refrigerator in our room was broken. It was replaced after we complained, but this is something that staff should have noticed before new guests checked in.
- I had forgotten the combination for the safe in the room—my mistake, completely clear. However, I immediately asked for help at reception, but unfortunately, no one there seemed to care. There was neither a response nor any follow-up to see if the problem still existed (I was able to open the safe myself two days later through trial and error).
- Some of the staff serving dinner were poorly trained and barely familiar with the service. Requests were only fulfilled after several inquiries, or sometimes not at all.
In conclusion: the Abinea is a beautiful hotel in a stunning setting. However, given the aforementioned shortcomings, which should not occur in a hotel of this price range, we will likely not be returning for the time being.

A truly beautiful property with a very romantic atmosphere that permeates almost everywhere... from the room with the ibex in love, to the stunning transparent pool on the top floor, to the wellness center and the salt cave, not to mention the excellent dinners and hearty afternoon snacks. We spent a week here for our honeymoon. The room was a dream, and the spa is fantastic. The heated pools, especially the panoramic one, are the highlight of this wonderful hotel. The location is central and truly strategic. The town of Castelrotto was a wonderful discovery. The property is close to every single service and just a short walk from the town center. There's a well-stocked supermarket next door and it's very close to the ski slopes. The food is incredible, and the staff is truly fantastic. It was an experience we'll never forget.

We stayed on behalf of Arianna the night between January 3rd and 4th. The room was very clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The heated outdoor pool on the fifth floor offers a breathtaking view, definitely the hotel's highlight. The reception staff were very welcoming. The furnishings and finishes in the common areas were unique and tasteful. My only suggestions: the ability to change tables at will from dinner to breakfast without having to reserve a table; and more professionalism from (I believe) the manager of the dinner/breakfast room.

Recently renovated hotel, just a hundred meters from the center of Castelrotto (one of the most beautiful villages in Italy).
The room was very welcoming and inviting.
The ambiance was clean, both in the room and in the common areas.
The spa is wonderful, one of the most beautiful and comprehensive I've ever seen. It's very spacious and features a pine cone stone sauna, a hay bio sauna, a Swiss pine sauna, a cold room with an ice fountain, a steam bath, a salt cave with a hydromassage pool, a Kneipp path, an infrared cabin, hydromassage foot baths, a swimming pool, and several relaxation areas. But the highlight is on the fifth floor, where you'll find a panoramic sauna and another heated pool offering breathtaking views.
I've gone on a bit, but I think it deserves a detailed description because the spa isn't a nice, run-of-the-mill spa like you'd find in all the niche hotels; it's much more.
The only thing missing is a gym.
The food is decent, and the breakfast is basic; you'll find all the basics, from sweet to savory.
Friendly staff, great bartenders.
Excellent value for money.
I also recommend this hotel for its strategic location: it's very close to Ortisei, but the bus service takes you quickly and easily to Bressanone and Bolzano. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel, but the train station is just a hundred meters away.

The room was very large, beautiful, and meticulously designed; the bed was enormous, and the bathroom was a gem.
The spa is spread over two floors: on the first floor, there's an indoor pool, various types of rooms and relaxation areas, numerous saunas, and much more; on the fifth floor, there's a terrace with a pool and a panoramic view of the Siusi Alps—a spectacle!
I absolutely loved the food; it was all delicious, and the presentation was also very thoughtful.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
A perfect weekend, I'll definitely be back, highly recommended.

But the hotel itself...
We had a romantic room that wasn't finished after renovations. The outlet covers were missing and there were holes in the ceiling. When we arrived in the room, there was a used bathing cap, still wet, on the shower. After we reported it, we were allowed to change rooms. The air conditioning in the new room didn't work; our room was constantly 27 degrees Celsius; we couldn't make it any cooler, and no air came out of the fake fireplace. The shower drain stank.
At our first dinner, we weren't told that carafes of still water were included and that still bottled water was available for a fee. They simply asked if we wanted water, and then placed a bottle of water in front of us and charged us for it. Breakfast was okay, but lacked variety and was very simple. There were often dirty dishes. The egg dishes were cold, and no food was listed. You'd grab a croissant and suddenly it was with or without filling (on the same day). There was no sign indicating which animal the sausage came from, etc. A wellness hotel should actually boast its spa area, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. It was so crowded that you sometimes had to wait 40 minutes for a sauna; there were no free loungers. The saunas themselves were never really hot; the advertised 90 degrees or 60 degrees were never reached. Infusions didn't arrive as promised either. The tea station was never restocked and mostly empty. Dirty cups were left lying around. Furthermore, you never saw any staff in the spa area. Some of the showers didn't work properly either.
Upon departure, we filled out the evaluation form and handed it in, but it disappeared into a box without even being looked at.
As I said, the staff were very friendly. It's a shame they didn't put as much effort into the spa and hotel area. We stayed there for 5 nights.

Let's start with the positives:
The food is excellent, the breakfast buffet is outstanding and very varied.
The rooms are pleasant, clean, and spacious enough; our room (202) overlooks the parking lot of a grocery store, which is currently under construction. This makes it noisy even in the morning.
The wellness area:
It's large enough for people to spread out, the lounge areas are comfortable and varied, and the sauna areas are good. The two pools are a good size, although the water is a bit cold, but the temperature is definitely sufficient for lap swimming.
The staff is courteous, polite, and attentive.
Anyone who vacations here will definitely get their money's worth and can completely unwind and enjoy their time!

Long weekend, super comfort. The difference at this hotel is the courtesy of the staff, especially the receptionist.
There was a small misunderstanding between our request and the booking for the chosen dates, but upon our arrival they were able to resolve it perfectly.
They put us in a new suite that hadn't yet been advertised, and then the next day they moved us to our chosen room.
We also received a complimentary hour in the private spa.
The kindness of the staff and the romantic atmosphere of this hotel deserves a 5-star rating.
I definitely recommend it, especially for couples.
In my personal opinion, the breakfast buffet could be improved, while the dinner menu deserves a special mention: elaborate and carefully prepared traditional dishes. Excellent delights for the palate.

Truly WONDERFUL experience! The hotel has recently been renovated so everything is new and very well maintained. The staff is very friendly and speaks Italian and German. It also has a beautiful spa with a swimming pool, 3 saunas, a private spa, a salt cave, a panoramic swimming pool and much more. The restaurant offers refined and very varied cuisine with a very rich appetizer buffet. It has internal parking for guests and the rooms are fantastic. Mine had a whirlpool and 2 bathrooms, lights and music to create atmosphere and a sauna. I really had a great time. The prices are higher than average but they are ABSOLUTELY worth it! I had a dream week with my wife thanks to all the staff.

The hotel offers a wonderful spa, both on the top floor with breathtaking views and underground, where you can relax and be blissfully pampered. The rooftop pool is a real gem.
I also have to compliment the entire staff for their professionalism. Despite a mistake I made during the booking process, the receptionists were able to find a solution for me in no time, brilliantly saving my weekend. These small touches add great value to an already exceptional hotel. Congratulations!

My husband and I came for a spa day after a long week of sport in the Dolomites. The sauna and spa area is incredible. Several saunas with varying temperatures and scents, a steam room, and even an ice room with snow. The pool and sauna outside on the upper deck was our favorite, it has a great view of the mountains.
We ordered lunch and it was mediocre at best but they have a nice selection of drinks and the wait staff was friendly.
Only disappointment was our couples massage. They asked us to move our appointment for another guest, and then brought us back to the room late. They have a long menu of massages to choose from, we chose the “sports massage” hoping to get some relief for our sore muscles, however the therapists gave us a very delicate relaxation massage. We tried to ask the therapists to apply more pressure but to no avail. Perhaps they aren’t trained in deep tissue? Not sure, but we were very unsatisfied with this aspect of the day. The therapists themselves were very nice it just wasn’t what we paid for.
All in all we would come back to the spa and skip the massage next time.

Fantastic location and highly rated hotel. Comfortable room in a quiet area (the only problem is that it's next to a supermarket, when they unload supplies at 8 a.m.). The breakfast buffet is plentiful, as is the afternoon snack, where the biggest challenge is resisting the sweets... with an unbelievable selection. Dinner is excellent, starting with a generous buffet of vegetables and fish/meat, followed by courses chosen at breakfast. Perhaps the only criticism is the choice between two options (first and second course); it would obviously be better if there were three, thus bringing the menu closer to an à la carte. An additional selection of fruit in addition to dessert/cheese would also be nice, but that's a small matter. The rooftop pool is fabulous, where you can relax after returning from fantastic hikes... sunbathing and swimming while gazing at the Sciliar. Excellent spa, where you can swim in another beautiful pool. Attentive and courteous staff, a large garage where you can forget about your car... It's a shame it's over.

Wonderful spa with a stunning rooftop terrace and pool. The wellness area has something to offer all sauna lovers. Unfortunately, the restaurant was unsatisfactory, hence a one-star deduction. Unfriendly service and the wrong dish were served. They wanted to argue that the goat cheese was Camembert. After two discussions, the mistake was acknowledged.
Nevertheless, the spa staff and the drink service were excellent. It's definitely worth spending a relaxing day there.

Many things need fixing. First of all, the service reservations. The first one wasn't received at the spa.
Very small rooms. The saunas and pools are very busy on weekends, but they're magnificent on weekdays. Afternoon snacks are very limited. The restaurant staff are very kind, but no one understands wine. The wine list is sparse or has little appeal. The food is presented and prepared by a chef who seems to be seeking fame. Often, the dishes have names that would require a booklet or footnotes. The selection is extremely limited.
An unthinkable and funny thing? At 10 pm, the terrace lights automatically turn off. Why do we want to send everyone to sleep like in a barracks? Inexplicable otherwise, because they don't bother any other rooms, and there would be other ways anyway. Crazy.
Towels from World War II. New and very comfortable bathrobes. WiFi doesn't work. Told reception: everything's fine with them, but the WiFi—there are two of us with a laptop and a smartphone—isn't working. The TV in the room has a very stupid tuning. I reported it to reception, but nothing happened.
The pool on the terrace is nice, but only half a meter deep. The saunas are beautiful. The indoor whirlpool is convenient.

I stayed as a couple for a relaxing weekend. The spa was spotless, well-maintained, and well-organized. The wellness center was small but well-maintained. I tried a hot stone massage, and it was well worth it. The indoor pool was small but well-designed. The top-floor terrace, with a pool offering a wonderful view of the mountains and Castelrotto, was a real highlight. The room was well-organized, all in fragrant wood.
Excellent amenities.
The breakfast was generous and catered to all tastes. The afternoon buffet was excellent. A nice appetizer and vegetable buffet was available for dinner. I think the evening menu needs reconsidering. But overall, the food was also good.

We were at the hotel for a day spa. Overall, it was very relaxing. Although it was very crowded and it was difficult to get a spot to lie down. We also had to share a locker, which was too small for two people (normally each person gets one). Nevertheless, the hotel is very nicely decorated; the "vitarium alpinum" (the sauna area), which opens at 1 p.m., is beautifully furnished and illuminated. For the first time, I've seen an automatic footbath in a hotel, and it was very pleasant. The highlight for us, however, was the infinity panorama pool on the roof terrace on the top floor (open from 12 p.m.). The water temperature is perfect, really pleasantly warm, and the view of Castelrotto is beautiful. Lunch is à la carte and we enjoyed it very much. Also, compliments to the waiter; he was very nice and accommodating, as were the rest of the staff. Finally, a note: we didn't know if and where we could shower before heading home, so we decided not to.

Shortly before Christmas, we visited this beautiful hotel in Castelrotto for the first time and were absolutely thrilled. The highly creative cuisine is excellent and made every dinner the highlight of the day. The service also impressed us. The entire staff was always very polite and professional. The wellness area, with several saunas and pools, is very large and modern. We particularly liked the infinity sky pool on the roof. The room was very clean, and our spa suite with its own whirlpool was simply amazing. This hotel is highly recommended, and quality of this level is hard to find.

The wellness area is fantastic, with various saunas and steam baths, and so on. Simply gorgeous. There's a superb panoramic pool on the roof. Pleasantly surprised by their kindness, attention to detail, and promptness in responding to our emails, I decided to request a quote and then book.
They ensured a peaceful stay for us, accompanied by our Chihuahua.
We were greeted with smiles and cold drinks and escorted to a huge room with an equally large bathroom, equipped with every comfort.
I was able to use the pool in the wellness area, one of the most beautiful views ever, immersed in a unique sense of peace and tranquility.
The open-air pool on the fifth floor, in addition to offering a breathtaking view, is heated, meticulously maintained, and equipped with comfortable loungers and truly beautiful relaxation areas.
The breakfast was superb, and the evening à la carte menu, besides being varied and lively, was full of something that can and should never be missing in the kitchen: passion.
The afternoon dessert buffet is always well-stocked, and it's very convenient to be able to go up in your bathrobe and enjoy a pleasant sweet interlude sitting outside in the cool air.
The staff, absolutely all of them, were incredibly kind and helpful.
I don't remember any dining room or bar staff being so helpful. They never showed interest in our daily lives, provided advice, and explained menus and traditions like they did here.

No negative things. Perhaps being picky is the fact that water isn't provided and is considered extra, but it seems to me that's the case everywhere in these areas.
Highly recommended.

Highly, highly, highly recommend. Did I mention I highly recommend?? My pictures don’t do the spa area justice. There is a few more rooms that I couldn’t take pictures in because people were there. Just check out the website.
Our stay started with arriving to glasses of champagne and just improved from there. Dinner was fantastic and breakfast was even better. Literally the biggest breakfast spread I’ve ever seen. There are some beautiful areas only 30 minutes from this area. Seiser Alm, Lago di Carezza, Val di Funes.
The spa is amazing. And the fact that it’s all included in the cost of your stay made it that much better. You should set aside at least a day to spend in the rooftop pool, spa area, and downstairs pool.

Fantastic property in the heart of Castelrotto.
Everything exceeded expectations, from the welcome, to the service, to the cuisine.
Superlative wellness center, saunas, and pools.
On the fifth floor, there's a hot tub with a whirlpool and a terrace with canopy loungers. You can enjoy a wonderful view of the village of Castelrotto.
The spa is spotless and well-maintained, and the relaxation areas with colorful water mattresses and hay rooms are special.
Excellent dinner and a fantastic breakfast selection.

I would love to give it 5 stars, because the Abinea is hard to beat in terms of the friendliness, competence, and dedication of its staff; the entire atmosphere is unique! However, anyone wanting to sleep in late during the week will be disturbed by the neighboring shops... This isn't really a problem, though, as there's plenty to see in the area. We are staying here for our 25th anniversary. There is a stunning view, pool, and cabanas on the rooftop 5th floor. They have an excellent selection of food for breakfast and dinner.
The bartender is extremely qualified to make ANY and all drinks. The guy is actually fluent in English, Italian, and German, and he obviously loves his job. Great sense of humor too.
This hotel is totally NEW, modern upgrades throughout, and free wifi. The staff are thoroughly knowledgeable about the area and nearby towns. They also know every detail of this hotel and go out of their way to please you and make you feel welcome.
It is perfect for hiking, mountain biking, or relaxing.
There is ski and bike storage and underground parking.
My only wish would be a private hot tub, but I have not asked.... maybe they have one?! I am still here, so, we will see.

Nice modern rooftop pool (heated) – however, it can get a bit crowded in the afternoons (due to the number of guests in a small space).
The location in the heart of Kastelruth is somewhat squeezed between other buildings, so there's no room for a sunbathing lawn, for example.
The "guest card" allows free use of public transport – but cable cars and lifts are not included (there are other cards in South Tyrol that are better).
Free parking in the hotel's underground garage.
Not so good:
Wi-Fi/internet is very slow – especially in the evenings.
Conclusion: We stayed here for a week and would recommend the hotel.

Beautiful, modern hotel. Shopping and the village center are within 5 minutes' walk. The valley station in Siusi can be reached by car or bus in 10 minutes.
Very nice and clean wellness area (several saunas, a very nice panoramic sauna on the roof, a steam bath, cold room, salt cave) is unfortunately only accessible to children 14 and up without supervision. The rooftop pool is spacious and also visually appealing. The staff is very friendly, and the pre-check-in works perfectly every time (no paperwork on site upon arrival).
The food is very delicious and always beautifully presented, with a good selection on offer. Half Board Plus is definitely recommended.
There's potential for improvement, especially with the Wi-Fi, which is currently quite slow (the bandwidth has apparently been limited on the guest network). Down: 3.5 Mbps Up: 500 kBit/s (40-second measurement time).
It would also be welcome if the minimum age for the wellness area were set at 16 years. This is definitely a place of rest and relaxation for adults.
A visit is definitely worth it for a few days of wellness and hiking/snow sports in the region.
The price/performance ratio is definitely good, and garage parking is available free of charge.

It was a truly wonderful weekend in what I consider to be one of the most beautiful wellness hotels in South Tyrol – superb service – everything is lovingly decorated – super friendly staff – at the reception, in the restaurant, and also in the wellness area. Our every wish was fulfilled – you rarely experience such service! We were treated to a hot stone massage, which was incredibly pleasant and very relaxing. The Alpine sauna with its panoramic view was a highlight for us; it had an incredible view – and we also enjoyed the whirlpool on the roof terrace with its 38-degree water temperature in the sun. Arriving at Abinea feels like "coming home."
Beautiful house, very clean, good food—what more could you want to unwind from the stresses of everyday life? Add to that the fantastic location, relatively central in South Tyrol, so you can easily explore the country and its people in all directions—or even do without a car altogether.
The hotel's greatest asset is the team.
Keep it up, see you next year.
