Seis am Schlern
Part of the commune Kastelruth is the traditional mountain village Seis. Today the village homes a modern cable way leading up to the high plain of Seiser Alm. The plain reaches an altitude of 1.800 and 2.200 meters and offers due to its enourmous size numerous walks and mountain tours around mountain Schlern. During winter the plain transforms into a ski area with traditional lodges, modern facilities, a snow park and a wide net of cross-country tracks. Also the ski area Alta Badia is not far.
