A short break in the Alpe di Siusi as a hotel guest. The view from the room was wonderful. The hotel was clean, the staff helpful, and the service excellent! Highly recommended for mountain lovers.

We stayed five days two weeks ago and had a great time; it was exactly what my husband and I were looking for. It's in a quiet location, the food is divine, the staff is friendly, and the rooms are clean. We did some long hikes, and luckily the weather was nice too. We'll be back next year. Congratulations!

An extraordinary hotel on the Alpe di Siusi, beneath Compaccio. An excellent location for enjoying the tranquility of the Alpe di Siusi and a breathtaking view of the Sciliar. Attentive, friendly staff, always available. It's always nice to be greeted every morning at the breakfast table with a smile and a kind word: these are never lacking at the Seelaus. Excellent cuisine.

The breakfast and evening buffet were plentiful, and everything was delicious.
The dinner itself was good but not exceptional.
A bottle of water costs €5 or more. It's ridiculous...
But given the setting, it's no surprise...

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights: two adults and our 8-month-old baby. From the very beginning, we found a welcoming, family atmosphere, with friendly and attentive staff.
A special thanks goes to Zarina and Marianna, who were extremely kind and attentive to us and, especially, to our little girl.
The location is excellent, and the food is excellent.
It truly has it all: highly recommended.
We hope to return soon!

We had an amazing 4-night stay at Hotel Seelaus in Alpe di Siusi. It was the perfect base for exploring the entire region, including Alpe di Siusi itself, Seceda, Ortisei, and many other beautiful hiking areas.
If you stay here, I highly recommend including both breakfast and dinner in your booking. The food was excellent and gave us all the energy we needed for long hiking days. Breakfast was a rich buffet, and dinner was a 5-course meal with multiple options. Every morning during breakfast, you receive a menu where you can choose from.
Our room with a balcony and mountain view was cozy, clean, and beautifully maintained. It was by far the best hotel we stayed at during our trip through the Dolomites.
The bathroom was perfect, featuring a spacious rain shower. The entire room was kept in impeccable condition, clean, tidy, and very well looked after.
The staff was friendly.
A great extra detail: the room came with a brand-new backpack you could use during your stay, which we actually took with us on almost all our hikes, super convenient!
We would definitely stay here again if we return to the Dolomites. Highly recommended!

Just returned from this wonderful hotel.... it's already the second time I've stayed there.... the dinner and breakfast were excellent with the possibility of vegetarian choices too... the waiting staff and barman were fabulous.... the room was large and welcoming (112)... the pool, relaxation area and massage services were excellent... the reception was fast and helpful... in short, we'd go back... without a doubt... thanks for our requests to change desserts for ice cream.... p.s. a piece of advice, it would be nice to find a newspaper available to guests in the morning... (it's just that I like reading the news in the morning).... you are fabulous....

Cosy hotel within walking distance to the alpe di suisi. We enjoyed the room, and the wonderful view from the balcony, alrhough the room got a bit hot without the balcony door open in summer.
Wellness area was wonderful and lots of massage jets in the heated pool, which was nice after being out hiking.
Food was great, especially the 5 course dinners. Only complaint would be that the timing of dinner made it impossible to be at the meadows for sunset.

Excellent hotel on the Alpe di Siusi. You can set off for the various walks on the plateau without having to take the car. Spacious and clean room. The swimming pool with hydromassage is the best for relaxing after a nice walk. Quality and varied cuisine, very kind staff. And then you can charge your electric car at the columns in their parking lot. Highly recommended

We stayed at Seelaus in the second week of February this year and had an excellent time in a luxurious location that is further enhanced and made homely by the warmth and friendliness of the owners and the attentiveness of all the staff. The location is exceptional, with breathtaking mountain views, direct access to the Laurin chairlift, a spa and wellness center with a refined atmosphere and a priceless view from the terrace, and top-notch food and wine selection. We can only agree with the many positive comments. You can truly relax here. We had a pine room. I wasn't expecting the pleasant scent of pine. But the doors, bed, and furnishings made entirely of pine are something special. Everything is new and of high quality. No musty odor from carpets or old rooms. The view of the mountains from the bed through the floor-to-ceiling windows is priceless. A different picture every morning and evening :-) A big compliment to the kitchen!!! The food was delicious and perfectly prepared every time. All the staff and owners are super friendly.

This is a great hotel located at the entrance to Alpe d'Isiusi.
It's a great location for exploring not only Alpe d'Isiusi but also the western Dolomites, including Seceda.
Compazzi village and the Panorama Lift are a short walk away, and the newly renovated double rooms were impeccable, from the views to the room condition.
The hotel's greatest strength is its half-board plan, which includes a delicious four- or five-course dinner every night during our five-night stay.
The waitresses were incredibly attentive and attentive.
The hotel also boasts a small but comfortable heated swimming pool, perfect for relieving the fatigue of hiking.
I'd definitely stay here again if I ever return to the Dolomites.

Very nice hotel on the Seiser Alm. Everything was perfect from check-in to check-out. Breakfast had a very large selection, dinner had a very varied menu, excellent cuisine, good wines, and a small but nice wellness area with a small pool. In the evening, you can enjoy the sunset in the rooms with a view of the Sciliar. If you have booked a room with a mountain view, there are two terraces with comfortable wicker furniture available for watching the sunset. The location is ideal; in 5 minutes on foot you can reach Comatsch, the starting point for many hikes. Well-deserved . Thank you for the wonderful days on the alpine pasture.

Good hotel, and even better staff and service in the restaurant. The staff are amazing! New and clean rooms with a terrace and great views. Lots of thoughtful touches, including the complimentary aperitif at 6:00 p.m. for hotel guests.
Somewhat high price for the stay.
Breakfast and dinner were very good. I recommend half board. We don't usually eat lunch or dinner in hotels, but in this area, it's a must.

We stayed at the hotel for a week to enjoy the Dolomites during the summer.
The service was very good. Nice rooms with view towards rhe mountains and the valley below. Cleanliness were to the highest standards.
The hotel has a nice pool in the spa area. It is not big enough for swimmingpool, but nice for relaxation.
Excelent breakfast and good dinner.
The area can be explorer on bike and at foot. E-bikes can easily be rented from one of the many rental services. Full suspension is recommended for comfort and increased control on the gravel roads.

The hotel's location is excellent – the hiking trails around "die Alm" start right outside. You can park your car right in front of the hotel. The breakfast and dinner were excellent. The staff were very accommodating, attentive, and friendly. We really enjoyed our short break at the Hotel Seelaus. Thank you very much!

An outstanding hotel in a beautiful location! The hotel is beautifully situated, with a fantastic view from our room, which boasts a large panoramic window and a lovely balcony. It's a great base for wonderful hikes. A warm, family-friendly atmosphere; the Gobbo family was approachable and very helpful at all times. The food was excellent every day and a real treat; the presentation of the dishes was a feast for the eyes. We had a wonderful rest and would love to come back. Warm greetings from northern Germany!

A truly fantastic hotel. Free parking is available right at the hotel, and you'll receive a friendly, family-friendly welcome. If you get a new room with a view of the ski slope, you'll have a phenomenal view every day! Of the mountains, the slopes, the evening sun. Right from your bed! The breakfast had a huge selection, and if that wasn't enough for you, you could simply order an omelet or something sweet of your choice. In the afternoon, there was a large selection of cakes, and in the evening, there was always a delicious multi-course menu. The wellness area is fantastic. A lovely pool, sauna, and a few loungers. There, too, a lovely view! The ski lockers on the ground floor are fantastic. Just a few meters on level ground, and you're right on the slopes. Perfect!

We just left and are already thinking about when we can return. Everything was excellent, from the cleanliness to the kindness of the staff and owners. The food was excellent, and the only suggestion we could give is to create a themed evening with a typical South Tyrolean dinner. A charming place and very convenient for skiers.

Room: Great view, very clean and large (double room).
Food: Very tasty and varied.
Breakfast was varied and everything was fresh.
Dinner had great set menus, preceded by a great appetizer and salad buffet.
Wellness:
Great massages.
The wellness area was very clean, but a bit small.
The sauna and steam room were clean, but too small for the number of guests (when we were there).
There were also usually no free sunbeds when we were there.
Location: Perfect, right on the slopes and a great view.
Conclusion: We'll definitely be back

I led a photography workshop here. Absolutely superb service from all the staff at Hotel Seelaus who went above and beyond in every way. I’ve written six guidebooks to the Dolomites and can confidently recommend this hotel as one of the best around, both in terms of location and value for money.

We stayed here for an extended weekend and were completely satisfied :) The weather gods were also kind to us.
We had a newly renovated, very cozy Gold Ducat Room; the view from the bed was magnificent. We really liked the large shower and the vanity with plenty of counter space. We were particularly surprised by the quiet toilet.
A big compliment to the room cleaning service: no traces of water on the fixtures or the glass wall in the shower!
We've gotten used to the fact that a beach bag with towels, bathrobes, and slippers is standard by now. But the free provision of an umbrella and a backpack was a nice touch.
The extremely friendly service at breakfast/dinner was attentive and very well trained. The lovingly set tables (with slanted chairs :-) invite guests to step inside.
The breakfast buffet was extremely plentiful and left nothing to be desired. And the evening menu is simply fantastic ***** a visual and, above all, taste-wise, experience every day.
We'd definitely love to come back.

We were privileged to spend a weekend at this wonderful hotel. The Gold Ducat Room had a stunning view, the service was exemplary, and the dinner was top-notch. Only the Wi-Fi was a bit slow and the sauna a bit small, but that certainly doesn't justify losing a star. We would love to come back, thank you so much for everything!

A very nice, family-owned hotel.
Very nice hosts and very friendly staff. We always feel very comfortable there and enjoy coming back again and again. Above all, the hotel is in a great location about 50 meters below the Seiser Alm plateau, offering many hiking and excursion options. You don't really need a car and can explore new places every day.

We've stayed at the Hotel Seel Aus several times and have always felt incredibly comfortable. The hotel is located right on the slopes, and two treadmills take you to the lift station.
The food is delicious and prepared with love. The entire hotel is very clean, including the entire wellness area. We highly recommend the hotel; it leaves nothing to be desired. We'll be back and are already looking forward to it.

Perfect location for those who want to be the first on the slopes in the morning after a hearty breakfast.
A magic carpet takes you directly from the hotel to the Laurin lift, from where you can continue in four different directions. Admittedly, slopes 9 and 10 are nothing more than a ski path, but it saves you having to warm up. We had the Geier Wally suite. It was nice with two TVs in the bedroom and in the adjoining living area. If you want a view of the Schlern and the mountains like the slopes, you should choose a Gold Ducat room. The evening menus are good anyway.

Newly renovated hotel directly on ski slopes. The rooms are very nice and clean. Food is very good, we especially liked the second light dinner option and the possibility of combining different dishes from the two menus. Family owners are very friendly. The staff is welcoming. The only drawback is the outdated and worn-out SPA area, which I am sure would have already been refurbished like the rest of the hotel if the business hasn't been interrupted due to the corona. All in all, definitely worth recommending. We will be returning for sure.

A very nice hotel! We can recommend the hotel 100%.
We had a Golddukaten Natural room with a balcony with a mountain panorama and afternoon sun.
The rooms are lovingly and very modern and newly furnished. We felt very comfortable.
All employees (service to reception) were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was very extensive, lots of different rolls, different croissants, fruit, jam and different egg dishes, sausage, cheese - everything your heart desires. However, the fried eggs had already been fried and piled up in the warming container, which didn't look tasty. Breakfast eggs were also already cooked and kept warm. So uninteresting for me, who likes to eat soft breakfast eggs. I would have expected a little more flexibility in a 4-star hotel.
The 4-course menu in the evening is beautifully presented, but the waiting time between courses is too long. I also have to say that I was very disappointed with the staff and the food. Either the wrong food was brought or I had a fly in the ointment (there was no apology). Once there was also steak from the pastured ox, but all the tables around us had the steak returned because it was very dry. The staff also spoke German poorly. In the morning the menu is on the table and you can choose the meal for the evening. I once had a question about the menu and it couldn't be answered. When plates etc. were cleared from the table, every waiter asked 'Is everything OK?' - That sounded very memorized.
Otherwise everything was excellent.

I spent a week's vacation in August at the Hotel Seelaus, where I was completely rejuvenated. The property and location were beautiful, and the staff were kind and welcoming, right down to the owners, who were always available to offer advice and directions for my excursions. The room was also very nice and clean, and the spa was the icing on the cake. I also want to give special mention to the restaurant, which offers dishes that showcase traditional local flavors, always with a creative touch. Enjoying them in the beautiful dining room with a view is the best.
I will definitely be back as soon as possible!

My husband and I, on the recommendation of friends, had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Seelaus and on the Seiser Alm. We had actually only planned and booked four nights, but after being so pampered at the hotel (with the very personal service, the fantastic food, and the care provided by the owners), we ended up staying seven. The location was also fantastic – all in all, an absolute "insider" tip!
We will definitely be back – and then with our motorcycle customers too

The hotel exudes a sense of tranquility and security. This is thanks in part to the friendly and attentive staff. The varied food, featuring regional and international cuisine, tastes delicious.
The hotel's location encourages active and diverse activities. Anyone who books their next vacation on the Seiser Alm anywhere other than the "Seelaus" has only themselves to blame.

We stayed at this hotel for five days, chosen almost by chance, from July 9th to 14th, 2021.
The owners and all the staff were very friendly and kind, the cuisine was varied, refined, and everything was delicious. And after a hike, relaxing in the pool with whirlpool and various saunas was the highlight. A quiet place with a view of the Sciliar massif.
We highly recommend it.

Once again, I'm a guest at the Seelaus. The hotel is run by a truly welcoming family. The rooms are well-kept and clean, and the service staff is attentive. There's nothing to complain about, and the quality of the food is simply top-notch! It's worth a visit!

A wonderful hotel, like almost all the places in South Tyrol. A 10-minute walk from Compaccio, nestled in the Alpe di Siusi, renovated in autumn 2019, it is very beautiful as well as welcoming! Priceless views from the balconies complete this wonderful experience! It's certainly not cheap, but it's worth it and we'll be back!

We stayed for a week in February 2019. It's a great base for a ski holiday, as you can set off and arrive directly from the hotel.
After skiing, there's cake available if you like, and you can enjoy the in-house sauna, which we did every day.
We were very pleased with the food; the breakfast buffet certainly offered plenty of choice for everyone, and dinner featured several delicious courses.
The very friendly and helpful staff deserves special mention; the waiters clearly enjoyed their work, which sometimes made us laugh along with them.
And not to forget the equally friendly host family. We really enjoyed the week and would love to come back.

A quiet hotel located off the main road. Nevertheless, it is centrally located for hiking and skiing. Spacious and beautiful rooms with very attentive staff. Very kind and friendly hotel owners, who are always willing to listen to their guests' questions and requests. The food is very varied and delicious. On top of that, the kitchen team always decorates it imaginatively and beautifully. Roxy's service was excellent, and she was always in a good mood. Overall, we were very satisfied and will definitely be back next year.

I've been coming here for over forty years, there must be a reason...
The staff is knowledgeable and courteous, and the chef is excellent.
The buffet is spectacular and the dining room is welcoming. And if you don't feel like walking, the heated pool is perfect for children and adults alike, not to mention the steam room, sauna, and other amenities this excellent hotel offers.
