Room 8: dated, carpeted throughout, no air conditioning, but very spacious, with a good bathroom and a large terrace.
Very good food, varied and catering to all tastes. Special requests for children can also be made.
Plenty of free parking spaces, both indoor and outdoor.
The spa area is lovely, although it could use some updating.

Das Essen war täglich ein fantastisches Gedicht!....Selten so gut gegessen, einfach TOP! Die Zimmer waren komfortabel und sehr gut ausgestattet. Naturpool oder Hallenbad zur Abkühlung, einfach für jeden etwas dabei, genauso wie Sauna, Dampfbad, Infrarot.....Insgesamt würden wir das Hotel natürlich weiterempfehlen, da das Gesamtpaket einfach stimmt." ...und auch wir werden wieder kommen......

Until now, my family and I had a strict policy of never traveling to the same place twice, let alone to the same hotel.
The team at the Vilpianerhof managed to shatter this resolution in a very short time.
From the very first moment, we felt completely at home. Our every wish was anticipated – some hotels that advertise their 5-star rating could learn more than a thing from their own.
We can fully confirm the reviews of other users who praise the food. Even our son overcame his reservations about a five-course meal on the first evening and was thrilled by the culinary delights.
I would especially like to praise the service and friendliness of the owners and all their staff – they truly made our stay a very special experience – we are already looking forward to the next one.

From the warm friendliness of the staff to the excellent cuisine – everything was simply perfect. The team was very helpful and accommodating, which made the stay particularly pleasant.
Another highlight was the excellent wine selection! The advice from the staff was first-class. You could feel their passion and knowledge about wine, and thanks to their recommendations, we were able to enjoy some wonderful wines.
The cuisine was simply fantastic – freshly prepared and of high quality. Every meal was a delight for the senses, and we were delighted to enjoy so many regional specialties.
The family atmosphere immediately welcomed us, and we felt like part of the family.
We can only say that we would love to come back!

Wir sind oft im Südtirol, aber so liebe und hilfsbereite Gastgeber trifft man selten.
Auch das Personal steht dem nichts nach.
Die Küche ist einsame Spitze und man fühlt sich wie in einer Verwöhnpension.
Alles in allem eine sehr schöne Woche und wir sind auch Tage danach immer noch begeistert.

The hotel's cuisine is outstanding. Very creative, diverse, and very fine, with a Mediterranean touch; the refinement of Italian cuisine is hard to miss. A feast for the palate, from the appetizer buffet and soup to the entrees, main course, and dessert. The hotel has a private sauna and an indoor pool, as well as a small natural pond and Kneipp pool with a sunbathing lawn. Unfortunately, through traffic and the train are a bit noisy, but you can get used to it. In good weather, there are countless hikes to choose from, followed by a relaxing sauna.

Excellent location, close to a highway that takes you to both Bolzano and Merano in just a few minutes. The owners and staff are very hospitable and friendly. The food is excellent, starting with an appetizer buffet, followed by a choice of three main courses, and dessert/fruit. The breakfast buffet is very varied. They provide a card that allows free use of public transportation, and many museums are also free. The pool and wellness center are very nice. The common areas have been renovated; the room was a bit dated and lacked power outlets at the headboards, but still, a highly recommended hotel.

The food is varied; however, we weren't entirely satisfied with the meat selection. It wasn't what we're used to, but rather a bit tough and overcooked in some parts. But then again, tastes differ. (That's why only 4 instead of 5 stars!).

After a long Corona break, we're back for a short break and the service is still fantastic, with a superb breakfast and a great 4-5 course dinner.
However, air conditioning in the room would sometimes be desirable. Underground parking is free with the option to charge electric cars (for a fee). Rental bikes with service are also available.

Let me put it this way: guests are greeted very warmly by the staff or the owner himself; I've never experienced anything like it before. Special requests are gladly fulfilled. My wife and I had a wonderful time at the Vilpianerhof between Christmas and New Year's. The whole family made us feel very welcome. The food was delicious throughout our stay, and we were treated to a fantastic buffet on New Year's Eve.
As a dog owner, I can highly recommend the Vilpianerhof. The owner is a real animal lover and always took great care of our dog, Eddie.

Sehr schönes und sehr gut geführtes Hotel. Eigentümer und Personal sehr freundlich, jederzeit ansprechbar und hilfsbereit. Zimmer geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Frühstücksbuffet ausgezeichnet, mehr als man erwarten kann, alles frisch und regional fokussiert. Wir hatten HP gebucht, also inkl. Abendessen; das war vorzüglich. Es gab jeweils ein 5-6-Gänge-Menü, abwechslungsreich, auch für Vegetarier; jeder Gang war i. d. R. mit 2 Alternativgerichten belegt, Portionen angemessen und geschmacklich wunderbar abgestimmt. Auch wenn man alle Gänge erfolgreich hinter sich gebracht hat, war man gut gesättigt, aber nicht "voll bis zum Unwohlsein". Auch hier alle Zutaten frisch aus der Region. Der Service war ausgezeichnet, die Anlage sehr gepflegt und angenehm; im Außenbereich kann man wunderbar im Grünen sitzen und den Spätherbst genießen (natürlich wetterabhängig). Wellnessbereich und -angebot sehr gut; diverse Saunen und großzügiges Schwimmbad sowie ein toller Außenbereich mit Naturteich und sehr schönen Liegemöglichkeiten. Die Gästekarte erlaubt das kostenlose Benutzen aller Züge, Busse und Bergbahnen im gesamten Gebiet um Bozen und Meran - sehr empfehlenswert.

Herzliches und freundliches Personal, die Besitzer des Hauses sind super. Die täglichen Gourmetvorschläge der Küche sind ein Gaumentraum. Die Lage des Hauses wir durch die Gästekarte Winepass mehr als ausgeglichen, damit kann die Bahn, der Bus oder die Seilbahn etc. jederzeit kostenfrei benützt werden. Mir hat gefallen, dass sie auf jede Person eingegangen sind. Spezielle Bestellungen an Essen wurden super umgesetzt.

Sehr gastfreundliches und sehr sauberes Hotel. Das Essen sowohl Morgens- wie auch Abendessen waren immer sehr reichhaltig und hat ausgezeichnet geschmeckt. Wunderbar!!

Die Familie Althuber und das Personal hat uns immer sehr herzlich umsorgt. Das Essen war grossartig und abwechslungsreich. Wir schätzten die tolle Lage des Hotels (nähe Bus, Bahn, Supermarkt) Das Hotel ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und dekoriert. Kurzum, wir fühlten uns rundum wohl!

die sofortige herzliche, liebevolle Aufnahme von allen im Hotel beschäftigten Leuten. Gleich ob Chef oder Chefin oder Beschäftigte. Deshalb haben wir bereits für den Herbst vorgeordert.Es war seit langem einer unserer schönsten Kurzurlaube in Südtirol. Danke Südtirol das es so etwas noch gibt !!!!
