+We, a group of four people and two dogs, stayed in two Alpwell Chalets from August 30th to September 6th, 2025.
Hotel Burggräfler is a quiet hotel; everything is very well-maintained, and the grounds are beautiful.
The staff and service were all very friendly and accommodating, and the food and drinks were excellent.
Walks with the dogs in the surrounding orchards are simply wonderful.
Now for the less pleasant aspects. The town of Tisens is unfortunately a bit far from the hotel. There are very few shopping opportunities nearby. Only the adjacent campground offers a shop.
Upon arrival, our sofa bed, which we had booked separately, was not made up. This was rectified, but the large pillows that went with it were forgotten. We would also like to mention that the sofa bed came unhooked and collapsed several times during the night. As an adult man, I was unable to get a restful sleep. Several attempts were made to fix this, but without success. This couch might be suitable for children, but not for adults. After repeated and persistent inquiries, we were only given a €50 discount for the uncomfortable nights. We would have expected more consideration.
We have spent many holidays in beautiful South Tyrol and always fondly remember the warmth of the owners. Unfortunately, we missed that on this particular holiday.

+This year was our first time at the Alpwell Hotel Burggräfler, the "newbies" among the many, many regular guests. If we had to describe our stay in just one word, it would be simply fantastic!
The hotel, the location, the exceptionally beautifully landscaped garden with the swimming pond, the beautiful and spacious room (Deluxe Room), the fantastic breakfast buffet that truly leaves nothing to be desired, the cuisine and evening meals in general – all of this more than exceeded our expectations. Most importantly, however, and what impressed us most, were/are the people at the hotel, who do everything possible every day to ensure that we guests have a carefree and unforgettable vacation. Whether it's the cleaning staff, chambermaids, the ladies and gentlemen in the service department, the kitchen, or, last but not least, the family itself, who runs this wonderful hotel with passion and heart and soul. The warmth and welcome as a guest can be felt in every corner of the hotel, no matter what time of day. Chapeau and a huge compliment to the entire Burggräfler team!
We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back; we're already looking forward to it.
