The evening dessert buffet was particularly noteworthy, as was the extraordinary service and the great professionalism demonstrated by Mrs. Katerina in treating my wife, who was very pleased. It should be noted that my wife has very high expectations in this area, being a physiotherapist.

The services offered at this hotel are nothing short of exceptional. The rooms are very welcoming and clean, the food is excellent, and the dessert buffet in particular is second to none. I'm also very happy with the treatments I received in the spa area from Ms. Katerina, who demonstrated exceptional professionalism and whom I sincerely thank for the enormous benefits I've experienced.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for four nights with 3/4 board in the last week of August.
We appreciated the atmosphere, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, the services offered, the organization, and the high-quality and varied cuisine.
A special mention goes to the grand dessert buffet on Fridays, which amazed us with its variety, abundance, sophistication, and deliciousness.
It was a wonderful experience, and we highly recommend it!

Our experience at this hotel was fabulous! The facility was impeccable in every way, and the owners and staff were always extremely kind and ready to accommodate any needs! The food was also top-notch; the dessert buffet on the evening of Ferragosto was nothing short of exceptional. I've personally never seen such a rich buffet, so thoughtfully planned down to the last detail, and so much more! My wife and I spent two fantastic days there; we felt pampered and truly relaxed! Everything was perfect and beautiful! We'll definitely be back!

A holiday dedicated to relaxation and well-being, everything was wonderful, the room with a superb mountain view. In the small village of Valles in the Puster Valley, besides the wonders of nature, we found the Valserhof. At the Valserhof, hospitality, kindness, helpfulness, and friendliness are the hallmarks. The property is beautiful and meticulously maintained, from the rooms to the restaurant, spa, and pools. The cuisine is nothing short of excellent, offering a refined culinary offering that embraces South Tyrolean tradition. A special mention goes to all the staff, especially Anastasia, who truly takes care of everything. The only negative: the spring water should be free. Otherwise, nothing to say except that it was an excellent experience.

Fantastic hotel, wonderful rooms. The hotel and staff were wonderful, impeccably clean, and the room was very nice. It's a shame the owner has a terrible temper. I was treated terribly for a simple question, and she continued to tease me. It's a shame, a terrible experience with the owner.

Simply recommended. As a family of five, we visited the Valserhof in the truly peaceful Vals for the first time and are still more than thrilled after our return.
We particularly enjoyed the personal contact with the owner family and the very attentive staff. We spent our first week in the "Abis" guesthouse right next to the Valserhof. The guesthouse has its own, truly beautiful sauna area and a small outdoor pool.
Since Bologna FC arrived at the end of our vacation and the guesthouse was entirely reserved for the club, we were able to spend three more nights in a family suite in the main building. Here, too, we lacked nothing.
It's also worth mentioning that we have one vegan and two vegetarians in the family, and the menu for the evening meal always offered a very good selection for the three of us. TOP!
We and our family felt completely at home at the Valserhof and would love to come back. Thank you, Monika and Dietmar, to you and your team for the wonderful stay and your enthusiasm for your guests.

Memorable vacation in the very quiet village of Valles, in this hotel that really takes care of the details and manages to give a beautiful travel experience. Very spacious, clean room, super wellness area, always kind and attentive staff and excellent food both for breakfast and dinner. There is also a large games room and the possibility of going out on a guided excursion. We will be back!

We spent our annual vacation here, and what can I say: It was wonderful . Everything was just perfect. The service is first-class, the daily gala dinner is always very good, and the spa area is very modern.
The area is perfect for hiking , and public transportation also works, so you can leave your car behind.

I recently stayed at this hotel and the experience was truly wonderful. One of the strong points is undoubtedly the spa area: spacious, cared for down to the smallest details and perfectly equipped. In addition to the pool, there are two saunas, water mattresses and a very large relaxation area that invites rest and well-being. A true paradise for those seeking a moment of pause and regeneration.
The structure is located in an enchanting location, surrounded by nature, where absolute peace and silence reign. The view from the hotel is simply wonderful: very green mountains that frame the landscape and make every moment even more suggestive. Furthermore, summer evenings are pleasantly cool and ideal for relaxing outdoors.
The room staff was also extremely attentive and friendly, always available to satisfy every need with professionalism and kindness.
A special mention goes to the barman Alex, an expert, capable and passionate person about his work. His cocktails are prepared with great care and skill, and his presence at the bar makes every evening even more enjoyable.
The only thing that left me a little perplexed was the food: the quality was undoubtedly high, with refined and well-presented dishes, but the portions were rather small. Fortunately, in the afternoon there is a rich buffet available that compensates admirably.
Overall, an excellent stay that I highly recommend, especially to those who want to relax in an elegant, quiet environment surrounded by breathtaking nature.

The service at this hotel leaves nothing to be desired; the staff are all incredibly friendly and accommodating. Everything is super clean and tidy, and the food blew us away – so much choice, it was a dream.

A wonderful place for a winter vacation (we have to go back in the spring :) Beautifully situated, offering many daily activities, such as yoga, pilates, hiking, wine tasting, and sauna sessions <3 Excellent cuisine and wine selection. The staff are always helpful and smiling, especially Alex and Gautam :)
The slopes are about a 2-minute walk away. We have very fond memories of our stay and would love to return!

There's only one thing to say about the hotel and accommodations: excellent!
The food is disappointing: the 5-course menu, yes, but always a slightly limited amount on your plate with the strangest ingredients, even in the alternative menu. Perhaps some people like that, but we don't. It would be better to also offer classic restaurant menus! If they do that, we'll definitely be back! Until then

The hotel is ideally located up in the mountains for skiing and hiking vacationers! The staff is very friendly and overall everything is there for a relaxing, great holiday. The food is top class and the wellness areas leave nothing to be desired. We just found it a shame that there was no evening program in the evening. Dancing, music or playing games together would fit in well with the concept, especially since the wellness areas are closed from 7 p.m. At least two hours from 8:30 p.m./9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Ugr of shared time for all hotel guests who wish would be the highlight!

We stayed there for a week and really enjoyed it.
The room was really cozy, with a great view from the balcony. And it was quiet.
The food was great, you were very spoiled and it was really a highlight every day. The staff is on their toes and takes care of your every wish.
The sauna area leaves little to be desired. I looked forward to the two infusions in the event sauna every day and enjoyed them very much. Large comfortable relaxation room. I didn't test the saunas and relaxation rooms across the street in the guest house. That was enough for me in the main house.
We took part in some of the excursions offered by the hotel and they were just lovely. Was a lot of fun.

We stayed for 4 days and I must say it was truly enjoyable! The service was excellent and the staff were impeccable, kind, and friendly! The wellness and pool area was spotless and everything was very well-maintained. The 3/4 board was excellent, with generous, high-quality breakfasts and afternoon snacks, and the dinner was exquisite and meticulously prepared! Every Friday evening there was an exclusive dessert buffet...a culinary spectacle!!! The hotel offers guided day trips to various Alpine locations, and you can also ski, sled, and hike through the woods! We'll definitely be back!

We spent a wonderful Christmas at the Valserhof and were absolutely thrilled. The incredible hospitality deserves special mention – every single member of staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel immediately welcome and well looked after.
The rooms are large and very comfortable, perfect for relaxing. The ski slopes are ideal for beginners, and the breathtaking scenery completes the winter experience.
The food was consistently delicious and of high quality – just the perfect way to round off the day.

Beautiful and elegant hotel. Refined cuisine, without excess, right portions, not abundant. 150 meters from the ski slopes both there and back. Too bad about the unheated boot room and the ski room set up in the garage wall. Pool water warm and not cold like in other hotels. Just right for relaxing. The rest of the spa is beautiful.

We were in Vals at disappearing seasons... to hike and relax, this time with a sauna and roof terrace... wonderful. The service staff was multicultural...and we were in good hands with Yvonne. The roommate Letitia, who looked after the room with great attention to detail, was exceptional. I was able to park my car safely and easily in the underground car park, Felix was keeping an eye on it. During the meal, our wishes were always respected with understanding. We missed Daniel in the service because he is busy with his new project,ügelehütte on the Fane Alm. Is also worth a visit.

This was our third time at the Valserhof Hotel. A definite safe bet if you want to be pampered: the wellness area is perfect, with cozy and beautiful relaxation rooms; the pool area is also lovely, warm, and comfortable (which is unfortunately not always the case at other hotels, as it tends to feel colder).

The breakfast could be improved... Unfortunately, coffee or cappuccino is only available from a fully automatic machine...
But overall, we would definitely recommend the hotel!

We were warmly welcomed when we checked in and the service was perfect the whole time. We had a very nice room on the 2nd floor with a great view. The children also loved the hotel and the pool. The restaurant and the great wine lounge are highly recommended and have a great ambience. We enjoyed our little break and would love to come back!

We spent an unforgettable week at the Hotel Valserhof in South Tyrol. From the very first minute, we and our Labrador, Tyson, received a very warm welcome. The Erlacher family, the owners, and the entire team were not only professional hosts, but also made us feel like friends. Our individual needs were always catered to, and we felt completely at home.
The hotel is beautifully situated in the Gitschberg Jochtal alpine region, surrounded by impressive nature. The location is ideal for winter sports enthusiasts: The entrance to the drag lift leading to the slopes is directly behind the hotel. My husband used the various trails every day and was thrilled by the variety and excellent condition of the slopes.
Meanwhile, I went on extensive hikes with Tyson and enjoyed the beautiful nature – a perfect combination of active vacation and relaxation.
The culinary experience was also an absolute highlight: every dish was a delight, accompanied by first-class wine recommendations from the in-house sommelier. We ended the day relaxing in the cozy atmosphere of the hotel bar. The bartender fulfilled our every wish, and a bowl of fresh water was always ready for Tyson whenever we were there.
All in all, this week was simply perfect. Thanks to the warm hospitality, the excellent service, the diverse winter sports opportunities, and the idyllic surroundings, we were able to recharge our batteries and enjoy our time. We found exactly what we were looking for here and are already looking forward to our next stay at the Valserhof. Thank you for this wonderful time!

What can I say? A fantastic weekend.
The hotel managers were truly welcoming, kind, and helpful.
The heated pool was large and heated, and there were several types of saunas available, all of which were really clean.
The three-quarter solution also deserves a mention, as does the plentiful food with plenty of choice.
The room we were given, booked the day before, was beautiful and clean, even the bathroom was large and comfortable.

It stands out for the particular kindness of the entire owner family and all the staff with whom we interacted. The SPA is decidedly relaxing and clean: a true world of pampering. Superlative eating both at breakfast and after lunch and at dinner with a particular mention for the dessert buffet. Particular and wise attention for those who love wine with a high quality offer, managed excellently by the son. The room entirely covered in pine was wonderful with a great view from the terrace. The second holiday at the Valserhof unfortunately came to an end after five days. Everything was perfect. From the boss to the service staff, we experienced incredible friendliness and willingness to help. We experienced top gourmet cuisine, great wellness offers and an extremely clean location in all areas. The price/performance ratio is great. The leisure program on offer has something for everyone. With the South Tyrolean Guest Pass you can use many extras from local transport, mountain railways, museums and other services free of charge.
We would also like to emphasize the extreme flexibility of the hotel and the Erlacher family. Due to family events, we had to postpone our booked vacation twice. This was immediately accepted and made possible for us at no additional cost. Many thanks again to the entire Valserhof team.

The evening menu can be chosen from vegan to a star-worthy taste explosion.
The rooms are clean, functional and have a balcony.
The hotel consists of two buildings, each with wellness areas and outdoor pools. Both houses are only a few meters away from each other, so you can also change between the wellness areas with a bathrobe.
There are sufficient free or covered parking spaces available.

Price-performance ratio is just great! If you just want to switch off and let yourself be pampered by beautiful nature, good food and friendly service, you will get your money's worth at the Valserhof.

Stayed at this property for a week. Good location. Room was adequate, cleaned daily. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. The spa was lovely.
Some negatives:
1) The water in a carafe at dinner was sold for €3.40. Extremely expensive considering the water offered was the usual (drinkable and usable) water found in the bathroom tap. Too excessive.
2) Supplement for a small dog of €25.00 per night (subsequently discounted by 10%). Too expensive in my opinion.

we had a wonderful relaxing holiday full of beauty and tranquility. Excellent service and good choice of leisure activities. The excursions led by Max were the best!!! Francesca was also very good with water gymnastics, yoga and the massage in the spa.

I was completely thrilled with the Hotel Valserhof! The location in the South Tyrolean Alps is simply stunning. The rooms are modern and comfortably furnished, with magnificent views of the mountains. I was particularly impressed by the wellness area – an oasis of relaxation. Excellent service in the SPA (Francesca is really good and professional).
However, the management of the dining room needs to be reviewed, in 3 days an excessive number of waiters took turns at our table, even on the same evening at least 4 different people. And one evening we stayed at the table for more than an hour and a half because it seemed like they had forgotten about us.
There were families guests with children who were not very well behaved (both parents and children who were not very respectful of the common areas and rest hours).

We had a week of relaxation. We usually always go on road trips, but after stressful work we were finally able to relax. We had a great corner room with a view of the mountains. The atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff were very pleasant. We thought it was nice that after breakfast (indoors) we could enjoy our second coffee on the outdoor terrace and also the afternoon snack. The informality was good for us.

We stayed here for a week to relax. Upon arrival, we were greeted by extremely friendly staff who made us feel very welcome. The host family was always present, attentive to all guests, and created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. You also always had the feeling that the staff felt at home here as well.
The rooms at the Hotel Valserhof are spacious and offer plenty of space to relax. The cleanliness is particularly noteworthy – both the rooms and the bathrooms were spotless and very well-maintained. It was a true pleasure to retreat to such a comfortable and clean environment after a long day.
Another highlight of our stay were the guided hiking tours organized by the hotel. These excursions offered us the opportunity to explore the beautiful surroundings of South Tyrol and were accompanied by competent and friendly guides. It was a wonderful way to enjoy nature while learning more about the region.
The culinary offerings at the Hotel Valserhof also deserve special praise. The excellent South Tyrolean cuisine was a delight for the senses – from traditional dishes to sophisticated creations, each dish was lovingly prepared and offered an authentic taste experience.
Overall, we highly recommend the Hotel Valserhof. The combination of very friendly staff, a pleasant host family, clean and spacious rooms, as well as the diverse activities and excellent food make this hotel a perfect place for a relaxing holiday in South Tyrol.

We booked our Whitsun short break through an online portal.
The arrival was relatively pleasant.
We were greeted at reception by the extremely friendly and personable Helena.
She also showed us around the premises and explained the meal schedule.
The room was clean. Opinions about the furnishings are mixed, but there are certainly nicer rooms.
The house is very quiet and also makes a lovely impression.
The common rooms are modern and beautifully decorated.
The wellness area offers three saunas, a steam room, a pool (indoor and outdoor), and a whirlpool. There are plenty of loungers for relaxing.
The showers are relatively new and therefore very clean.
We also booked massages during our stay:
The friendly lady was very competent and knew her stuff. It was fantastic!
We were assigned a private table for all meals. It was a lovely spot by the window with a beautiful view.
The meals themselves were truly delicious. They also paid attention to beautiful plate pictures. I had to add more seasoning here and there—but that's always up to you.
The service was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We were also recommended places to visit. I especially have to mention the incredibly nice Yvonne. She does a fantastic job.
We would love to come back again, as the beautiful Valserhof is highly recommended.

This was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Almost everything was perfect. The food is incredibly good. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The hotel is lovingly decorated and gives the stay a pleasant atmosphere. So, everything was really, really good.
What I have to say, though, is that it's a shame that the swimming pool and the gym close at the same time as the sauna. I understand that cleaning has to happen at some point, and guests should arrive early for dinner. However, it would be nice if you could go to the gym after dinner. The second point I have to criticize is the gym itself. Of course, it's not possible to set up a full-fledged gym in that space, but the existing equipment is ridiculous. In addition to the trading table and the trading bench, there's also a 15-in-1 machine. That's really unacceptable. No exercise really works there. That's a shame. If there were a regular tower next to the trading table where you could definitely do more and more useful exercises, all gym-lovers would be happy.
Apart from these two minor criticisms, I was truly surprised and impressed by this good hotel. Recommendation is out.

I spent three days with my sisters and cousin. The hotel is in a great location for the slopes and is surrounded by tranquility. We stayed in a double suite. The rooms were small, even the living room was small. What surprised me was the lack of a bottle of water in the minibar. One bottle for four people seems like the bare minimum. I pointed this out, and they brought the bottle, but it was later added to my final bill. The spa area is nice and well-maintained, and the massage services are very good. The evening cocktails at the hotel bar were excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended.

The idea was MBK + SPA, it was much more.
the location is excellent for approaching various bike rides, the SPA is beautiful and large enough with everything you need, right by the swimming pool with outdoor space.
The only flaw perhaps is the outdoor loungers by the pool: few and a bit backgrounds.
The rooms, although not brand new, are functional.
And let's get to the pluses: exceptional winery for all tastes with honest and sometimes affordable prices, refined dining, sometimes you feel the lack of mountain rusticity too much. But that can be found nearby.
Overall it's worth the money and I would happily go back.

My wife and I always enjoy our stay at the Valserhof. However, the only downside is that paying €3.20 for a carafe of water seems excessive. At other hotels we've stayed at, carafe water from the dispenser was free, and there was always one in the room, a nice touch we appreciated. However, other than that, the Valserhof is a truly wonderful place to stay. The staff are always helpful and friendly, the food is excellent, and the service is excellent.

Our room was right next to the elevator and quite noisy. In some places, it's noticeable that renovations can only be carried out in stages – a problem with many family-run hotels. The pool and wellness area is small but nice. The location in Vals is really good.

As always, I believe that family-run establishments are the best, and in fact the Valserhof hotel confirms this.
Kindness and hospitality just like a host is evident from the owner who is always smiling and always ready to greet you, as well as from the two young sons, the eldest son specializing in wines who he recommends to his guests at every meal with a certainly self-confident air, which however honestly sometimes exceeds, thus giving an idea of superiority towards customers, highly qualified and kind staff.
The very good dishes that vary every day stand out.
Overall I would give it a solid 8.

One small point: as a celiac, I'd prefer to have labels on the foods displayed at the buffet highlighting the presence of allergens. This is something I find lacking in the vast majority of hotels. Splendid, truly refined hotel, excellent location in the middle of the mountains. Really worth the 4 stars. Super breakfast even if some extra homemade cake is missing. Hot drinks from the machine of excellent quality. The hotel staff all inclusive, very knowledgeable and very kind, our waiter Lukas was truly a guarantee. Large and well-organised wellness center with high class and finishing. Our room on the third floor was really huge and made entirely of wood, very clean and with well-organised spaces. The dinner was really high quality and plentiful even if gourmet. Longe bar with fireplace and truly spectacular open cellar. Games room with table tennis and other things in the afternoon, a snack that looks like a little lunch. For lovers of good wine, this is for you... Negative aspects: tap water is charged €3.20 per carafe (really negative aspect), rather raise the room rate by 2 euros and you'll make a better impression... and the non-soundproof room could hear a lot of confusion until late in the evening.

The hotel isn't huge, but everything is meticulously cared for, down to the smallest details. The staff (always friendly in South Tyrol) was among the friendliest I've ever encountered.
The spa, though not huge, is very well-maintained and well-serviced, and the sauna attendant is extremely knowledgeable and friendly.
The common areas are modern, relaxing, and filled with a wonderful aroma.
The food is excellent (¾ board), from breakfast in the morning (eggs a la carte included in the price), through afternoon snacks, and right up to dinner with an excellent selection of wines (one evening there was a dessert buffet, the best I've ever had).
The new rooftop for sunbathing was greatly appreciated (a nice pool would be nice there).
The only flaws:
- Our room: it was the cheapest and it was adequate (we weren't expecting much, it matches the photos and description), but it was a bit dated compared to the rest of the hotel, and the extra bed was also a bit uncomfortable. However, it wasn't a big problem.
- WATER!!!: I don't think it's fair to pay for spring water (it's really excellent, but in many other hotels you don't pay, and that's actually fair since it's tap water, after all).
- Loungers: perhaps a bit few compared to the many
guests at the hotel.

I know the whole Pusteria Valley very well and its always excellent hotels but I must say that this hotel responded to all our expectations in a big way, such as location, hospitality, care, cuisine, organisation, staff without forgetting a perfect balance between quality and price, large rooms with their balconies overlooking the mountains, perfectly soundproofed. An incredible breakfast with even a fruit and vegetable juicer on request, a more than pleasant spa... what can I say? The Valserhof was the well-deserved destination of our Transalpine Run.
A beautiful alpine-chic hotel with a spacious reception area, lounge and wine bar.
Our room was quite clear and traditionally, but very comfortably furnished.
The bed was very comfortable, the balcony offered a beautiful view of the mountains. There is something for every taste in the wellness area with swimming pool and various saunas.

Although we booked half board (breakfast and dinner), it felt like full board because a generous snack is served from 3 to 5 pm so that those returning from excursions can have a break. The room was very clean and equipped with every comfort. The only drawback: you can't use the sauna and Turkish bath area in the morning; perhaps due to the low number of guests, it's only accessible in the afternoon. The dinner portions were generous, considering they also served a buffet. Breakfast was good and well-served. The drinks at the bar were excellent. Highly recommended.

The double room is furnished in Alpine style, has a balcony with a fantastic view of the valley, a beautiful bathroom with rain shower and a comfortable large bed. The food was the best, both breakfast and dinner! The dishes are varied and creatively put together and are a real culinary delight! The service staff is very courteous and has a wide range of specialist knowledge, including in relation to the wine selection. We discovered this somewhat remote hotel by chance. After having a bad experience with guests at Lake Garda, this was the complete opposite. The staff was very friendly and competent. We've been repeat guests at this hotel for several years. A charming, family-run wellness hotel in a fantastic location with excellent food, a beautiful spa area, and a more than extensive wine cellar.
A perfect starting point for long hikes, free use of the cable cars in summer, and a very quiet location almost at the end of the valley.
When booking, please pay attention to the exact room category, as the rooms in the older part of the building are somewhat dated and nowhere near as modern as the more prominently advertised rooms in the newer building. The latter have large panoramic windows, balconies or terraces, and some have private saunas.
The sauna area consists of a steam bath and three saunas of varying temperatures. Infusions are offered once or twice a day.
The outdoor pool area, a bit small for the number of guests, offers a few loungers and a small lawn. It is connected to the indoor pool, which also features a (very warm) whirlpool.
The hotel is particularly recommended for families and couples, rather than solo travelers. For the latter, only the rooms in the old part of the building are available as single rooms. Booking a fifth person in the new part of the building was not possible.
The buffet at the afternoon snack and dinner seemed a bit more extensive in recent years, but this may also be due to the hotel's slightly lower occupancy this June. The range and quality are very good in any case.
All in all, the Valserhof is highly recommended. Many rooms offer fantastic views of the surrounding mountains, and thanks to numerous special offers, it's often a bit more affordable than comparable competitors.

We were able to spend a short 3-night break at the Hotel Valserhof in March. We had originally booked the Hotel abis dolomites, which is right next door. However, the reservation was changed to the Valserhof due to insufficient guest numbers; of course, we couldn't say no :). The reception at the Valserhof was very warm and friendly, from the owner himself :). The hotel impressed us from the start with its beautiful and stylish ambiance, with great attention to detail. The bar-lounge, the restaurant, and the rooms are very modern. The saunas in the wellness area are also impressive, but the pool is a bit dated, and a thorough cleaning and renovation would have been nice in a few places. Overall, we had a very comfortable 3.5 days at the Valserhof (thanks to the outstanding staff). Unfortunately, the final breakfast left a negative impression. Our table, which was set for us every day for breakfast and dinner, was not set for the last breakfast before departure, even though we were told it would be our table for the entire stay. We were a bit confused and asked the waitress if we could have cutlery – unfortunately, we received a somewhat rude and unfriendly response from the lady. It turned out that the table had been set for us elsewhere. Be that as it may, it may have been our fault. Nevertheless, we definitely recommend this hotel. Many thanks to the Valserhof team.

Higher quality and appropriate would be a champagne glass for champagne, a corresponding white wine glass for white wine and a small glass to taste for dessert wine. I went to the Valserhof with my partner for a long weekend, for wellness and skiing. The nearby ski area is within walking distance. In the afternoon we went to the wellness area with several large and beautiful saunas. The dinner was outstanding every day and the wine selection was always a delight straight from the huge, well-stocked wine cabinets. The staff was great. I will be happy to come back and recommend the hotel to anyone who is looking for both wellness and enjoyment at a more than fair price.

The only thing I didn't like (my problem) was the unisex sauna where nudity was welcome, I didn't feel comfortable... for the rest, everything was ok! Simply an incredibly beautiful hotel. The entire staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The pool area and sauna are very well maintained. The food is delicious both in the morning and in the evening, and the alternative menus mean there's always a choice if something doesn't suit you. Overall, a wonderful and very relaxing holiday, and we're leaving tomorrow with heavy hearts. The only minor drawback: On some days, loungers by the pool (even though you weren't allowed to reserve) were scarce or even non-existent during peak times. Still, a full 5-star rating :)

Unfortunately, some dishes were out of place and unsuccessful, such as the completely soft squid and shrimp fried dish. We stayed at the Valserhof for 3 nights. The food was very good, with a generous breakfast, a buffet in the afternoon, and a gala dinner in the evening (3/4 board). We enjoyed almost everything. We had two spa treatments with Francesca and felt very comfortable with her. Everyone at the hotel was generally very friendly. We had a family suite and plenty of space with our two children (2 years and 3 months); everything was clean and well-maintained. The only thing they could perhaps update are the TVs? Our eldest loved the pool, and right outside the hotel there was a lovely, large playground with a sandbox and separate areas for toddlers with a small slide and baby swing. Of a total of 7 inquiries at similar hotels in the area, this one offered the best value for money, so we chose the Valserhof. We were completely satisfied and would come back and recommend the Valserhof to our family and friends.

Hotel located in a strategic position in a typical Alpine village (Valles), an enchanting place for high-altitude walks and more.
Unfortunately, I stayed for only 8 days, having to go down to Friuli to pick up my son who was busy at a sports camp.
The cuisine is spectacular with an eye (also) for those who prefer traditional cuisine and/or for children. Abundant breakfasts for all tastes.
The owners are truly special, friendly and available to the guests' needs. Every morning there are free excursions with guides and you will be given a card that allows you to access all the facilities and local visits for free.

We also indulged ourselves with the culinary delights. There's really nothing to complain about.

Relaxing week in this splendid hotel in the heart of South Tyrol. Impeccable service, excellent food, a beautiful structure. The spa and wellness center complete the offer. Just pay attention to the difficulty of the proposed excursions, even the simplest ones can be challenging for those who are not trained. Highly recommended if you want to relax, enjoy the mountains and disconnect from everyday life.

All in all, it was a fantastic stay at the Valserhof: The wide selection of food and wine is fantastic. The dining area's interior is also fantastic. The wellness, sauna, and pool areas are very modern and pleasantly furnished. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the hiking tours with Martin. I didn't take advantage of the yoga and fitness classes on offer, but I've heard nothing but good things about them.

The Panorama Suite Deluxe on the roof of the hotel is very quiet and spacious. When the weather is nice, you can use the swing seat on the huge private terrace. Since the room also has its own sauna, you hardly have to leave it. The beautician Sandra in the wellness area is professional and very friendly, as is the entire hotel family who warmly welcomes you. The food was very good, only the salad and breakfast buffet still needs some improvement.

The daily flower changes are a real treat... I'd like to return next year, but I'd like the wellness center (Turkish bath and sauna) to offer family access (perhaps from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM), including access for minors, who must wear a swimsuit. For us Italians, going in without a swimsuit isn't exactly ideal. For this reason alone, we weren't able to fully enjoy it. I recommend it to everyone.

Top-notch service, including free loan of hiking poles and high-quality hiking backpacks, and consistently friendly staff. Guided hikes ranging from easy to challenging are offered daily, which you should definitely take advantage of.

We're returning to the Valserhof for the fifth time, exactly ten years after our last visit with the whole family.
For the first time during the summer, and without children, we're able to enjoy a relaxing week away from the noise and hustle and bustle that we know are totally foreign to the establishment.
Indeed, at the end of our stay, we can only say we're satisfied with the treatment we received, especially the helpfulness and professionalism demonstrated by everyone, which more than offsets the few, improvable, negative points that I'll quickly list:
- Water should be served from a bottle with a closed cap, not from a bottle with an open cap.
- Staff must be constantly present to ensure compliance with the normal rules of good coexistence in the wellness areas, especially the quiet room and pool, to prevent disturbing noises, diving, or water games, which are already prohibited according to posted signs. I understand wanting to please everyone or trying to avoid ungrateful and questionable online reports, but the fact that you can pay the bill at the end doesn't justify these forms of rudeness, which I personally encountered from French, Italian, and German guests, in strict alphabetical order.
- The sauna: to avoid making women or girls feel uncomfortable due to habits found in other environments or other countries, two areas should be created, one for men only and one for women only. Simple.
That said, everything was fine, both regarding the food (good and refined, most of the time) and the accommodation (choosing a room without carpet was the right choice).
For a vacation to remember, thanks to the Erlacher family, who have managed the tidy, spotless, and comfortable VALSERHOF Hotel over the years, and continue to do so.

We have been frequenting South Tyrol for 15 years and have stayed in dozens of hotels. In Valles in particular we knew the hotel opposite very well.
We had been looking for an opportunity to stay at the Valserhof for some time. We ended up staying four days over Easter.
I must say that we had a very good time. The hotel is beautiful, the common areas are very well kept, the spa is beautiful, the restaurant is excellent. The rooms are only partially renovated. We had booked a non-renovated family room which showed the weight of its years: old concept, narrow spaces, dated furnishings, acceptable bathroom. Unless it was hidden under the floor, there was no mini-bar (this had never happened to me). The room was still opened with a key attached to a key ring which, personal advice, should be changed for hygiene reasons. On the other hand, the terrace and the view from the room were very beautiful. By spending a little more you can have rooms with modern furnishings with wood instead of the old carpet. I would recommend it.
Swimming pool with hot water, indoors and outdoors. Sunbeds by the pool were very comfortable but sometimes found to be all occupied.
Strictly naturist sauna area without Italians walking around in swimsuits making those who follow the rules uncomfortable.
Two saunas, a Turkish bath, reaction tub, various relaxation areas also with water mattresses. Daily events, well signposted, with peelings and steam infusions.
Fine cuisine which I found very pleasant. Great willingness to accommodate guests' wishes. We have two little girls with difficult tastes and they were very kind and very good at satisfying them in everything.
There is a large children's area but it could be better set up.
The after dinner hours are a bit anonymous, considering that there is nothing in Valles and the evening inside the hotel is, in fact, obligatory. A piano bar service, even every other day, would really make the difference.
The kindness of the family that manages the resort and of all the staff who made us feel truly pampered deserves a separate chapter.
Good value for money, especially in high season.
At the end of the holiday we asked ourselves if it was preferable to the neighbor next door and the answer was yes.
So, we will definitely be back.

The food is very good and the staff is more than friendly.
Our daughter was sick and we had to take her to the hospital that evening. Even though we returned late, we didn't fully enjoy the evening menu. A woman from the service even stayed longer.
You really feel like a guest here!
Price performance is also completely okay.
You can't go wrong here!

We've been frequenting Vitalpina hotels for a few years and have always found them to be of good quality. However, honestly, during our last vacation, a few days in February 2016 at the Valserhof, we were truly impressed by the facility and the hospitality.
It's set in a beautiful setting and very convenient for those who want to ski or hike without having to use a car.
The room we chose fully met our expectations, the staff was efficient and friendly, the spa was small but well-equipped (I'm referring to the sauna/Turkish bath area, because there's also a treatment area, which I didn't visit), impeccable cleanliness, spacious common areas, and, for me, a smoker, a private area with a beautiful fireplace where I can relax.
The food was good, and the wine cellar was particularly well-stocked.
The Erlacher family was always attentive and helpful. Thank you again for making my birthday a sweet one!

I stayed at the Valserhof for a week and it was hard to leave... the hotel is wonderful, very well looked after, with attention to the customer beyond measure. The availability, friendliness and kindness of the Erlacher family, owners of the hotel, and of all the staff are at the highest levels.
Excellent cuisine with delicious, plentiful dishes. In the evening at the restaurant there is an initial buffet with a truly vast amount of choice, then follows the menu, complete and very varied! And believe me.... of extraordinary goodness!
The relaxation area and the services offered at the SPA are excellent!!!
The excursions in which I participated with the guide Annamaria (one of the two guides) were beautiful, who showed us some enchanting places and had lunch inside very characteristic refuges.

Exceptional hotel, we had a great time. Even singles have no problems because they organize wonderful days for you, starting with various types of gymnastics and then trips to choose between a challenging one and a more peaceful one in places with fairytale huts.
There is also the possibility of seeing the sunset starting at 5.30 in the morning.
The valley also organizes various free events, we took a walk through the history of honey and everything that it entails.
If like us you love to eat well, you can't go wrong here.
They are all very kind and there is an attention to detail that left us very satisfied.
With a card, the cable cars and means of transport are free, so if you look at all the services offered the quality/price is certainly very good.
Hotel that we definitely recommend and to which we will return as soon as possible.

EXCELLENT cuisine, generous and delicious dishes, the buffet always full, and the waiters attentive and quick to refill and take care of the guests. The rooms are excellent, spacious and bright, thoroughly cleaned daily, and the overall setting is excellent
