We had a perfect short break at this wonderful hotel at the beginning of November and were completely satisfied.
We received a very friendly welcome with lots of information, and the service was also very friendly throughout our stay, with great hiking tips. Due to the fresh snow, we had to adjust our plans a bit, and the staff provided excellent advice. It was also perfect for us that we could borrow additional hiking poles.
The family room (221) was ideal for us, with a large, new bathroom that was very thoughtfully designed. A little decoration on the walls would create an even nicer atmosphere, but otherwise, the room was perfect for us.
The food was delicious and varied, with generous portions. Our allergies were taken very seriously, and the individual courses were proactively and easily adapted. All dishes on the menu can be exchanged for alternatives at any time, which was perfect for our children.
We didn't use the sauna or spa facilities, but the pool was a lovely way to relax after hiking.
We will definitely be back!

Great hotel in a quiet, somewhat secluded location in Vals, South Tyrol.
We had a really large room with a great terrace at a reasonable price!
The service was good, the staff friendly, although on the first morning no one seemed quite sure where our breakfast table was.
The breakfast buffet is huge and has a great selection.
In the evenings, the set menu is expensive at €50 per person – however, the portions are generous and the salad bar is always included (see photos).
If you don't want to eat at the hotel in the evening, there's a restaurant in Mühlebach (about a 10-minute drive) with a wide selection and good prices.
We had a wonderful time at the Valserhof because there are many hiking opportunities nearby and a trip to Brixen isn't too far.

This was our third time traveling as a couple to the Valserhof / Abis in Vals.
With no through traffic, the valley offers the perfect refuge for quiet and relaxing days.
The hotel team takes great care of their guests, and we once again felt very comfortable.
The saunas and pools are particularly noteworthy, as are the lavish selection at breakfast and the evening menu.

We've been to Vals at different times of the year... hiking and relaxing, this time with a sauna and rooftop terrace... wonderful. The service staff was multicultural... and we were in good hands with Yvonne. Our roommate Letitia was exceptional; she took care of the room with great attention to detail. I was able to park my car safely and securely in the underground garage, and Felix kept an eye on it. Our requests for food were always respected with understanding. We missed Daniel in the service because he's busy with his new project, the Zügelehütte on the Fane Alm. It's also worth a visit. We returned well rested. See you next time.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for four nights with 3/4 board in the last week of August.
We appreciated the atmosphere, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, the services offered, the organization, and the high-quality and varied cuisine.

Our experience at this hotel was fabulous! The facility was impeccable in every way, and the owners and staff were always extremely kind and ready to accommodate any needs! The food was also top-notch; the dessert buffet on the evening of Ferragosto was nothing short of exceptional. I've personally never seen such a rich buffet, so thoughtfully planned down to the last detail, and so much more! My wife and I spent two fantastic days there; we felt pampered and truly relaxed! In the small village of Valles in the Puster Valley, besides the wonders of nature, we found the Valserhof. At the Valserhof, hospitality, kindness, helpfulness, and friendliness are the hallmarks. The property is beautiful and meticulously maintained, from the rooms to the restaurant, spa, and pools. The cuisine is nothing short of excellent, offering a refined culinary offering that embraces South Tyrolean tradition. A special mention goes to all the staff, especially Anastasia, who truly takes care of everything. The only negative: the spring water should be free. Otherwise, nothing to say except that it was an excellent experience.

Simply recommended. As a family of five, we visited the Valserhof in the truly peaceful Vals for the first time and are still more than thrilled after our return.
We particularly enjoyed the personal contact with the owner family and the very attentive staff. We spent our first week in the "Abis" guesthouse right next to the Valserhof. The guesthouse has its own, truly beautiful sauna area and a small outdoor pool.
Since Bologna FC arrived at the end of our vacation and the guesthouse was entirely reserved for the club, we were able to spend three more nights in a family suite in the main building. Here, too, we lacked nothing.
It's also worth mentioning that we have one vegan and two vegetarians in the family, and the menu for the evening meal always offered a very good selection for the three of us. TOP!
We and our family felt completely at home at the Valserhof and would love to come back. Thank you, Monika and Dietmar, to you and your team for the wonderful stay and your enthusiasm for your guests.

I recently stayed at this hotel and the experience was truly wonderful. One of the strong points is undoubtedly the spa area: spacious, cared for down to the smallest details and perfectly equipped. In addition to the pool, there are two saunas, water mattresses and a very large relaxation area that invites rest and well-being. A true paradise for those seeking a moment of pause and regeneration.
The structure is located in an enchanting location, surrounded by nature, where absolute peace and silence reign. The view from the hotel is simply wonderful: very green mountains that frame the landscape and make every moment even more suggestive. Furthermore, summer evenings are pleasantly cool and ideal for relaxing outdoors.
The room staff was also extremely attentive and friendly, always available to satisfy every need with professionalism and kindness.
A special mention goes to the barman Alex, an expert, capable and passionate person about his work. His cocktails are prepared with great care and skill, and his presence at the bar makes every evening even more enjoyable.
The only thing that left me a little perplexed was the food: the quality was undoubtedly high, with refined and well-presented dishes, but the portions were rather small. Fortunately, in the afternoon there is a rich buffet available that compensates admirably.
Overall, an excellent stay that I highly recommend, especially to those who want to relax in an elegant, quiet environment surrounded by breathtaking nature.

A wonderful place for a winter vacation (we have to go back in the spring :) Beautifully situated, offering many daily activities, such as yoga, pilates, hiking, wine tasting, and sauna sessions <3 Excellent cuisine and wine selection. The slopes are about a 2-minute walk away. We have very fond memories of our stay and would love to return!

There's only one thing to say about the hotel and accommodations: excellent!
The food is disappointing: the 5-course menu, yes, but always a slightly limited amount on your plate with the strangest ingredients, even in the alternative menu. Perhaps some people like that, but we don't. It would be better to also offer classic restaurant menus! If they do that, we'll definitely be back! Until then

The hotel is ideally located up in the mountains for skiing and hiking vacations! The staff is very friendly, and overall, everything is there for a wonderful, relaxing vacation. The food is top-notch, and the wellness areas leave nothing to be desired. We just found it a shame that there's no evening entertainment. Dancing, music, or group games would fit the concept well, especially since the wellness areas close at 7:00 p.m. At least two hours of social time from 8:30/9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. for all hotel guests who wish would be the icing on the cake!

The room was incredibly comfortable, with a great view from the balcony. And it was quiet.
The food was excellent, we were very pampered, and every day was truly a highlight. The staff is on the ball and attends to every need.
The sauna area leaves little to be desired. I looked forward to the two infusions in the event sauna every day and really enjoyed them. The large, comfortable relaxation room. I didn't try the saunas and relaxation rooms across the street in the guest house. The ones in the main building were enough for me.
We went on some of the excursions offered by the hotel, and they were simply beautiful. It was a lot of fun.

The wellness and pool area was spotless and everything was very well-maintained. The 3/4 board was excellent, with generous, high-quality breakfasts and afternoon snacks, and the dinner was exquisite and meticulously prepared! Every Friday evening there was an exclusive dessert buffet...a culinary spectacle!!! The hotel offers guided day trips to various Alpine locations, and you can also ski, sled, and hike through the woods! We'll definitely be back!

We spent a wonderful Christmas at the Valserhof and were absolutely delighted. The incredible hospitality deserves special mention – every single member of staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel instantly welcome and exceptionally well cared for.
The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, perfect for relaxing. The ski slopes are ideal for beginners, and the breathtaking scenery completes the winter experience.
The food was consistently delicious and of excellent quality – just the thing to end the day.

Too bad about the unheated boot room and the ski room set up in the garage wall. Pool water warm and not cold like in other hotels. Just right for relaxing. The rest of the spa is beautiful.

This was our third time at the Valserhof Hotel. A definite safe bet if you want to be pampered: the wellness area is perfect, with cozy and beautiful relaxation rooms; the pool area is also lovely, warm, and comfortable (which is unfortunately not always the case at other hotels, as it tends to feel colder).

The breakfast could be improved... Unfortunately, coffee or cappuccino is only available from a fully automatic machine...
But overall, we would definitely recommend the hotel!

We spent an unforgettable week at the Hotel Valserhof in South Tyrol. From the very first minute, we and our Labrador, Tyson, received an incredibly warm welcome. The Erlacher family, who own the hotel, and their entire team were not only professional hosts but also made us feel like we were staying with friends. Our individual needs were always catered to, and we felt completely at ease.
The hotel is idyllically situated in the Gitschberg Jochtal alpine region, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. It's ideally located for winter sports enthusiasts: the ski lift, which leads to the slopes, is right behind the hotel. My husband used the different runs every day and was thrilled with the variety and excellent condition of the slopes.
Meanwhile, I enjoyed long hikes with Tyson and the magnificent natural surroundings – a perfect combination of active vacation and relaxation.
The culinary experience was also a highlight: every dish was a delight, accompanied by first-class wine recommendations from the hotel's own sommelier. We ended each day relaxing in the cozy atmosphere of the hotel bar. The bartender catered to our every need, and there was always a bowl of fresh water ready for Tyson whenever we were there.
All in all, this week was simply perfect. Thanks to the warm hospitality, the excellent service, the diverse winter sports opportunities, and the idyllic surroundings, we were able to recharge and enjoy our time. We found exactly what we were looking for here and are already looking forward to our next stay at the Valserhof. Thank you for this wonderful time!

What can I say? A fantastic weekend.
The hotel managers were truly welcoming, kind, and helpful.
The large, heated pool, which also extends outside, and the various types of saunas available, all very clean.
The three-quarter solution also deserves a mention, as does the plentiful food with plenty of choice.
The room they gave us, booked the day before, was beautiful and clean, even the bathroom was large and comfortable.

Our second vacation at the Valserhof unfortunately came to an end after five days. Everything was perfect. From the chef to the service staff, we experienced incredible friendliness and helpfulness. We enjoyed top-notch gourmet cuisine, fantastic wellness offerings, and an extremely clean location in every area. The value for money is excellent. The leisure program offers something for everyone. With the South Tyrolean Guest Pass, you can use many extras for local transport, mountain railways, museums, and other services free of charge.
We would also like to emphasize the extreme flexibility of the hotel and the Erlacher family. Due to family events, we had to postpone our booked vacation twice. This was immediately accepted and made possible at no additional cost. Many thanks again to the entire Valserhof team.

1) The water in a carafe at dinner was sold for €3.40. Extremely expensive considering the water offered was the usual (drinkable and usable) water found in the bathroom tap. Too excessive.

In my personal experience, many things could be improved for a 4-star hotel costing at least €300 a night. The wellness room has no minibar, no kettle to make tea, no air conditioning, and not even a bottle of drinking water is provided. A jug of tap water costs €3.50. The room was really poorly cleaned. Upon arrival, we found the bathroom mirror splattered. We asked for the rugs to be removed because they were really dirty. Dinner was plentiful, but we had interminable waits between courses, until one evening they completely forgot about us. From then on, everything was fine thanks to the waitress who took care of it. The pool and wellness area were very beautiful and relaxing, but even there, the cleanliness was a bit neglected. We found hair or bandaids from the day before. In our case, we would have expected more customer service, as upon arrival we were assigned a room with a closet behind which hot water pipes ran, extending into the wall. The entire room was very hot, as if there were a radiator. Given the temperatures of the time, we asked if it was possible to change to a cooler room, but they wouldn't give us a second thought... so we made do by keeping the windows constantly open. The thing we liked most was the breakfast. Apologies for the criticism, but I've shared our experience.

The dining room management, however, needs to be reconsidered. Over the course of three days, we had an excessive number of waiters at our table, even at least four different people on the same evening. One evening, we sat at the table for over an hour and a half because it seemed like they'd forgotten about us.
There were families with less-than-well-behaved children (both parents and children showed little respect for the common areas and rest times).

We stayed here for a week to relax. Upon arrival, we were greeted by extremely friendly staff who made us feel very welcome. The host family was always present, attentive to all guests, and created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. You also always had the feeling that the staff felt at home here as well.
The rooms at the Hotel Valserhof are spacious and offer plenty of space to relax. The cleanliness is particularly noteworthy – both the rooms and the bathrooms were spotless and very well-maintained. It was a true pleasure to retreat to such a comfortable and clean environment after a long day.
Another highlight of our stay were the guided hiking tours organized by the hotel. These excursions offered us the opportunity to explore the beautiful surroundings of South Tyrol and were accompanied by competent and friendly guides. It was a wonderful way to enjoy nature while learning more about the region.
The culinary offerings at the Hotel Valserhof also deserve special praise. The excellent South Tyrolean cuisine was a delight for the senses – from traditional dishes to sophisticated creations, each dish was lovingly prepared and offered an authentic taste experience.
Overall, we highly recommend the Hotel Valserhof. The combination of very friendly staff, a pleasant host family, clean and spacious rooms, as well as the diverse activities and excellent food make this hotel a perfect place for a relaxing holiday in South Tyrol.

We booked our Whitsun short break through an online portal.
The arrival was relatively pleasant.
We were greeted at reception by the extremely friendly and personable Helena.
She also showed us around the premises and explained the meal schedule.
The room was clean. Opinions about the furnishings are mixed, but there are certainly nicer rooms.
The house is very quiet and also makes a lovely impression.
The common rooms are modern and beautifully decorated.
The wellness area offers three saunas, a steam room, a pool (indoor and outdoor), and a whirlpool. There are plenty of loungers for relaxing.
The showers are relatively new and therefore very clean.
We also booked massages during our stay:
The friendly lady was very competent and knew her stuff. It was fantastic!
We were assigned a private table for all meals. It was a lovely spot by the window with a beautiful view.
The meals themselves were truly delicious. They also paid attention to beautiful plate pictures. I had to add more seasoning here and there—but that's always up to you.
The service was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We were also recommended places to visit. I especially have to mention the incredibly nice Yvonne. She does a fantastic job.
We would love to come back again, as the beautiful Valserhof is highly recommended.

A 4-star hotel that, in the suite we stayed in, didn't even have a kettle or a coffee maker; these days, most 4- and 5-star hotels have them in all rooms. The suite had a minibar, but it was empty. We paid a whopping €23 for a gin and tonic, €19 for gin and €4 for tonic, which I thought was excessive! I asked for a glass of sparkling water for my 3-year-old son, which cost €1.30...
The hotel is about a 3-minute drive from the ski lifts and about a 15-20 minute walk. The breakfast buffet, afternoon snack buffet, and evening appetizers were excellent. The kids' area and wine tasting area were lovely.
Large indoor and outdoor pools; the water, in my opinion, was almost cold. There were few places to lean against the pool, but the space is what it is, and they couldn't have done otherwise.
Overall, a pleasant stay.

This was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Almost everything was perfect. The food is incredibly good. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The hotel is lovingly decorated and gives the stay a pleasant atmosphere. So, everything was really, really good.
What I have to say, though, is that it's a shame that the swimming pool and the gym close at the same time as the sauna. I understand that cleaning has to happen at some point, and guests should arrive early for dinner. However, it would be nice if you could go to the gym after dinner. The second point I have to criticize is the gym itself. Of course, it's not possible to set up a full-fledged gym in that space, but the existing equipment is ridiculous. In addition to the trading floor and the trading bench, there's also a 15-in-1 machine. That's really unacceptable. No exercise really works there. That's a shame. If there were a regular tower next to the trading floor where you could definitely do more and more useful exercises, all gym-lovers would be happy.
Apart from these two minor criticisms, I was truly surprised and impressed by this good hotel. Recommendation is out.

Unfortunately, a major disappointment right from the start. The booking confirmation indicated a different room. When we asked at the reception, we were treated very rudely and told that this must have been a mistake.
We stayed in the Relax double room and cannot recommend it at all. It's very dated, extremely noisy from the hallway, and lacks the advertised "absolute comfort." In contrast to other rooms, this room seems rather unloved.
Fortunately, the excellent food outweighs the disappointment with the room.

I spent three days with my sisters and cousin. The hotel is in a great location for the slopes and is surrounded by tranquility. We stayed in a double suite. The rooms were small, even the living room was small. What surprised me was the lack of a bottle of water in the minibar. One bottle for four people seems like the bare minimum. I pointed this out, and they brought the bottle, but it was later added to my final bill. The spa area is nice and well-maintained, and the massage services are very good. The evening cocktails at the hotel bar were excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. Recommended.

Nice weekend in the mountains.
The idea was MBK + SPA, it was much more.
the location is excellent for approaching various bike rides, the SPA is beautiful and large enough with everything you need, right by the swimming pool with outdoor space.
The only flaw perhaps is the outdoor loungers by the pool: few and a bit backgrounds.
The rooms, although not brand new, are functional.
And let's get to the pluses: exceptional winery for all tastes with honest and sometimes affordable prices, refined dining, sometimes you feel the lack of mountain rusticity too much. But that can be found nearby.
Overall it's worth the money and I would happily go back.

The food was excellent (even the wine cellar).
Just remember that the sauna and Turkish bath area requires bathing suits... so for those who don't like to go without, look for other areas.

The sauna area was beautiful (Cristian is a master of infusions!), and the reception staff always provided helpful advice on hikes and visits. The dinners and breakfasts were unbeatable!
On a sad note: because of our smoking neighbor, we had to close the windows quite often to avoid breathing in his secondhand smoke. When will there be a smoke-free hotel? It would always be too late!

My wife and I always enjoy our stay at the Valserhof. However, the only downside is that paying €3.20 for a carafe of water seems excessive. At other hotels we've stayed at, carafe water from the dispenser was free, and there was always one in the room, a nice touch we appreciated. However, other than that, the Valserhof is a truly wonderful place to stay. The staff are always helpful and friendly, the food is excellent, and the service is excellent.

The hotel is located right next to a small slope that leads to the larger ski area via drag lift. The ski schools are also highly recommended.

Kindness and hospitality, just like a host, are evident from the owner, always smiling and ready to greet you, as are his two young sons. The eldest son specializes in wines and recommends them to his guests at every meal with an air of self-confidence, which, honestly, sometimes goes overboard, thus giving the impression of superiority to the guests. The highly qualified and friendly staff also stand out.
The delicious dishes, which vary daily, stand out.

One small point: as a celiac, I'd prefer to have labels on the foods displayed at the buffet highlighting the presence of allergens. This is something I find lacking in the vast majority of hotels. A beautiful, truly refined hotel with an excellent location in the mountains. It's truly worth its 4 stars. The breakfast was superb, although it could use a few more homemade cakes. The hot drinks from the machine were excellent. The hotel staff, all inclusive, were very knowledgeable and kind; our waiter, Lukas, was a real asset. The wellness center was large, well-organized, and of a high-class standard. Our room on the third floor was truly enormous, all in wood, spotlessly clean, and well-organized. The dinner was truly high-quality and plentiful, even if it was gourmet. The lounge bar with a fireplace and a truly spectacular open-air wine cellar. The games room with ping pong and other games is a snack in the afternoon, which feels like a light lunch. For lovers of good wine, this is the place for you. Cons: Tap water costs €3.20 per carafe (a really negative aspect). Instead, raise the room rate by €2 and you'll look better. The room wasn't soundproofed, so we could hear a lot of noise until late at night.

The hotel isn't huge, but everything is meticulously cared for, down to the smallest details. The staff (always friendly in South Tyrol) was among the friendliest I've ever encountered.
The spa, though not huge, is very well-maintained and well-serviced, and the sauna attendant is extremely knowledgeable and friendly.
The common areas are modern, relaxing, and filled with a wonderful aroma.
The food is excellent (¾ board), from breakfast in the morning (eggs a la carte included in the price), through afternoon snacks, and right up to dinner with an excellent selection of wines (one evening there was a dessert buffet, the best I've ever had).
The new rooftop for sunbathing was greatly appreciated (a nice pool would be nice there).
The only flaws:
- Our room: it was the cheapest and it was adequate (we weren't expecting much, it matches the photos and description), but it was a bit dated compared to the rest of the hotel, and the extra bed was a bit uncomfortable. However, it wasn't a big problem.
- WATER!!!: I don't think it's fair to pay for spring water (it's really excellent, but in many other hotels you don't pay, and that's actually fair since it's tap water, after all).
- Loungers: perhaps a bit few compared to the many
guests at the hotel.

A beautiful hotel with an alpine-chic design, a spacious reception area, lounge, and wine bar.

The sauna area is a dream. In addition to a bio sauna and a steam bath, there are two more Finnish saunas. One of them is an event sauna, where Christian performs fantastic, variously themed infusions every day at 5 and 6 p.m.!!! Every sauna lover should experience this at least once! Simply fantastic! Thank you, Christian, for this experience.

Although we booked half board (breakfast and dinner), it felt like full board because a generous snack is served from 3 to 5 pm so that those returning from excursions can have a break. The room was very clean and equipped with every comfort. The only drawback: you can't use the sauna and Turkish bath area in the morning; perhaps due to the low number of guests, it's only accessible in the afternoon. The dinner portions were generous, considering they also served a buffet. Breakfast was good and well-served. The drinks at the bar were excellent. Highly recommended.

The double room is furnished in Alpine style, has a balcony with a stunning view of the valley, a beautiful bathroom with a rain shower, and a comfortable large bed. The food was absolutely fantastic, both breakfast and dinner! The dishes are varied and creatively prepared and a true feast for the palate! The service staff is very attentive and has extensive knowledge, including regarding the wine selection. The entire hotel is very stylishly decorated, and great emphasis is placed on cleanliness. We discovered this somewhat remote hotel by chance. After having a bad experience with guests at Lake Garda, this was the complete opposite. The staff was very friendly and competent. The rooms were quiet, and the wellness area was adequate. You can go hiking or just relax. The half board is recommended. A shout out to the barman, who knows his stuff. The prices were reasonable for us, as we were left with nothing to be desired. Our short one-night stay will remain a lasting memory.

We've been repeat guests at this hotel for several years. A charming, family-run wellness hotel in a fantastic location with excellent food, a beautiful spa area, and a more than extensive wine cellar.
A perfect starting point for long hikes, free use of the cable cars in summer, and a very quiet location almost at the end of the valley.
When booking, please pay attention to the exact room category, as the rooms in the older part of the building are somewhat dated and nowhere near as modern as the more prominently advertised rooms in the newer building. The latter have large panoramic windows, balconies or terraces, and some have private saunas.
The sauna area consists of a steam bath and three saunas of varying temperatures. Infusions are offered once or twice a day.
The outdoor pool area, a bit small for the number of guests, offers a few loungers and a small lawn. It is connected to the indoor pool, which also features a (very warm) whirlpool.
The hotel is particularly recommended for families and couples, rather than solo travelers. For the latter, only the rooms in the old part of the building are available as single rooms. Booking a fifth person in the new part of the building was not possible.
The buffet at the afternoon snack and dinner seemed a bit more extensive in recent years, but this may also be due to the hotel's slightly lower occupancy this June. The range and quality are very good in any case.
All in all, the Valserhof is highly recommended. Many rooms offer fantastic views of the surrounding mountains, and thanks to numerous special offers, it's often a bit more affordable than comparable competitors.

We were able to spend a short 3-night break at the Hotel Valserhof in March. We had originally booked the Hotel abis dolomites, which is right next door. However, the reservation was changed to the Valserhof due to insufficient guest numbers; of course, we couldn't say no :). The reception at the Valserhof was very warm and friendly, from the owner himself :). The hotel impressed us from the start with its beautiful and stylish ambiance, with great attention to detail. The bar-lounge, the restaurant, and the rooms are very modern. The saunas in the wellness area are also impressive, but the pool is a bit dated, and a thorough cleaning and renovation would have been nice in a few places. Overall, we had a very comfortable 3.5 days at the Valserhof (thanks to the outstanding staff). Unfortunately, the final breakfast left a negative impression. Our table, which was set for us every day for breakfast and dinner, was not set for the last breakfast before departure, even though we were told it would be our table for the entire stay. We were a bit confused and asked the waitress if we could have cutlery – unfortunately, we received a somewhat rude and unfriendly response from the lady. It turned out that the table had been set for us elsewhere. Be that as it may, it may have been our fault. Nevertheless, we definitely recommend this hotel. Many thanks to the Valserhof team.

A suggestion for the hotel: Please also provide the appropriate glasses for the corresponding wines. A higher-quality and more appropriate option would be a champagne glass for champagne, the corresponding white wine glass for white wine, and a small glass for dessert wine to taste. The food is delicious both in the morning and in the evening, and the alternative menus mean there's always a choice if something doesn't suit you. Overall, a wonderful and very relaxing holiday, and we're leaving tomorrow with heavy hearts. The only minor drawback: On some days, loungers by the pool (even though you weren't allowed to reserve) were scarce or even non-existent during peak times. Still, a full 5-star rating :)

The Swiss pine suite was very beautiful and new. I can't give it five stars because the gourmet dinner fell short of expectations. Unfortunately, some dishes were out of place and unremarkable, like the fried squid and shrimp, which was completely soggy. I think a good mountain cheese would have been more appropriate in Tyrol, although it wasn't included as a regular dish. The dessert buffet at dinner was also missing. The wine selection is honestly too vast to keep track of it during a short stay. Particular mention is deserved to the SPA staff and facility.
We have been spoiled and we can only recommend the hotel with the highest level of satisfaction. We are looking forward for our next visit.

We stayed at the Valserhof for 3 nights. The food was very good, with a generous breakfast, a buffet in the afternoon, and a gala dinner in the evening (3/4 board). We enjoyed almost everything. We had two spa treatments with Francesca and felt very comfortable with her. Everyone at the hotel was generally very friendly. We had a family suite and plenty of space with our two children (2 years and 3 months); everything was clean and well-maintained. The only thing they could perhaps update are the TVs? Our eldest loved the pool, and right outside the hotel there was a lovely, large playground with a sandbox and separate areas for toddlers with a small slide and baby swing. Of a total of 7 inquiries at similar hotels in the area, this one offered the best value for money, so we chose the Valserhof. We were completely satisfied and would come back and recommend the Valserhof to our family and friends.

First of all, I'd like to say that all the staff were really great (with two exceptions), and you feel really comfortable in the hotel. However, there were three things that bothered me personally!
Point 1: The room was directly above the kitchen/delivery entrance! This meant that sleep was impossible after 7 a.m.! The kitchen extractor hood, the arrival and departure of the delivery people, unloading, etc., were really annoying!
Point 2: I was really disappointed with the quality of the food! Unimaginative, unseasoned, not up to date! Where's the innovation? The "cream soups" were a daily disappointment, and the Schüttelbrot cream soup will probably haunt me forever because of its color and consistency! The salad buffet, on the other hand, was varied and of very good quality!
Point 3: The rooms are absolutely outdated! Old-fashioned, worn, no power outlets, room key (!!!), bidet leaks water, bathtub too!
As I said, my personal opinion! Nevertheless, we felt comfortable and the above points should serve as an incentive or food for thought

Unfortunately, I stayed for only 8 days, having to travel down to Friuli to pick up my son who was busy at a sports camp.
The cuisine is spectacular, with special attention paid to those who prefer traditional cuisine and/or children's dishes. Hearty breakfasts cater to all tastes.
The owners are truly special, friendly, and attentive to their guests' needs. Free guided excursions are offered every morning, and you'll receive a card that allows you free access to all local facilities and visits.
A real surprise, a treat, a holiday dedicated to absolute relaxation and physical and mental well-being. I highly recommend it.

The Panorama Suite Deluxe on the roof of the hotel is very quiet and spacious. In good weather, you can enjoy the swing on the spacious terrace. Since the room also has its own sauna, you hardly ever have to leave. The food was very good, although there's still room for improvement with the salad and breakfast buffets.

I'd like to return next year, but I'd like the wellness center (Turkish bath and sauna) to offer family access (perhaps from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM), including access for minors, who must wear a swimsuit. For us Italians, going in without a swimsuit isn't exactly ideal. For this reason alone, we weren't able to fully enjoy it. I recommend it to everyone.
