Rediscovering simplicity in Olang
In the impressive mountains of Pustertal lies Olang situated at 1.000 meters offering an extraordinary range of outdoor possibilities.

In Geiselsberg an interesting mountainbike path leads up to Furkelpass – a path famous due to Giro d’Italia. The hotels in Olang are connected with the lifts of hike and ski resort Kronplatz. Near the lifts a 10 km long cross-country ski track meanders through the breathtaking nature scenery. Also bicycles can be transported in the train and the paved cycle tracks invite to pedal as far as Bruneck or Brixen or past the Austrian border. The Eastern part of the village hosts the dam of Olang, popular among fishermen. Olang is situated right at the largest Nordic Walking Park in Europe. The park extends from Pfalzen and Bruneck over Olang to Rasen in the valley of Antholz and comprises a road network of 280 km and walks on all levels. Professional instructors offer introduction workshops and taster courses for beginners inclusive Nordic Walking sticks and cardiac devices.
Especially worthwhile is also an excursion to the wild lake of Prags. The probably most beautiful mountain lake in South Tyrol lies midst the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage, the nature park Fanes-Sennes-Prags.
