Above the Dolomites in St. Vigil in Enneberg
Not far from Bruneck, near St. Lorenzen in Pustertal, a road leads into the valley of Gadertal all the way till St. Vigil in Enneberg. Surrounded by the Dolomites and embedded in the nature park Fanes Sennes Prags, the proud village lies on around 1.200 meters. In Ladin called “Al Plan de Mareo” is today testimony of history and tradition in Gadertal. During winter, visitors of St. Vigil find about 80 km of walking paths, 90 km of ski runs and plenty of space to go ski touring and snowshoe walking. Besides there is a toboggan run and the possibilities for ice curling and horse sleigh rides as well as a cross-country track in Rautal.
