Above the Dolomites in St. Vigil in Enneberg
Not far from Bruneck, near St. Lorenzen in Pustertal, a road leads into the valley of Gadertal all the way till St. Vigil in Enneberg. Surrounded by the Dolomites and embedded in the nature park Fanes Sennes Prags, the proud village lies on around 1.200 meters. In Ladin called “Al Plan de Mareo” is today testimony of history and tradition in Gadertal. One ride on the Zip-Line and you find yourself back in the present. The Zip-Line in St. Vigil is one of the longest of its kind in Italy. “Fasten your seat belt” and speed down on the steal robe for three kilometers – over 100 meters above the ground.

During summer the hotels in St. Vigil offer about 300 km of hiking trails and 250 km of mountain bike paths, access to local mountain Kronplatz and numerous other activities such as horseback riding, fishing, climbing, bowling, inline-skating and swimming. A popular hiking path leads to the waterfalls Ciastlins or to the summit Kreuzspitze.
During winter, visitors of St. Vigil find about 80 km of walking paths, 90 km of ski runs and plenty of space to go ski touring and snowshoe walking. Besides there is a toboggan run and the possibilities for ice curling and horse sleigh rides as well as a cross-country track in Rautal. Experience skiers or even snowboarders can access here the Sellaronda and go around mountain Sella.
