Riffian, in airy heights

Place of Pilgrimage
Happy-go-lucky is the motto on the trail “Waalweg” in Riffian where deep forests, enchanting orchards and beautiful views over Riffian and Schenna add to the unique experience. The Church of Pilgrimage „Dolorous Mother of God“ marks the end of this walk. According to legend a farmer spotted a light once, coming from the river Passer. As he went to investigate this mystical light together with friends, they found a picture of Holy Mary.
